Hide Accounting Tab in CProjects

Hi All,
I want to hide the "Accounting" Tab in CProjects, depending on user authorizations.
I tried to realize it with BADI "DPR_DETAIL_TAB_CTRL".
Unfortunately in this BADI I can only hide tabs on detail level e.g.
tabs for tasks, phase etc.
But how can I hide tabs on a higher level like the "Accounting" Tab?

You can try with the Badi DPR_DETAIL_TAB_CONTROL, it can hide the Tab dynmically.
See the example codes for details:
Sets a detail tab Private (invisible) or Changeable (visible)
Do not use Mandatory or ReadOnly
Example: Set Document Tab invisible (Private) for Project
CASE cs_property-association.

Account Assignment in cProjects

Hi Experts,
Need Help!!
Currently In cProjects, we are using Accounting Tab in cProjects to assign a WBS Element at the top level of the project
I want to check whether WBS element has been assigned to correct Project.If the assignment is wrong then it should not allow to save and give error message.
Can this be possible with BAdi "DPR_FIN_GECCO_MANUAL" or is there any other way to check this.
If possible, may you provide me with Sample Code.That would be a great help.

Yes, the method CHECK_ACCOUNT_ASSIGNMENT should fulfill your requirment. And there is an example implementation of this method. Please see example codes in class CL_EXM_IM_DPR_FIN_GECCO_MANUAL.

Controlling Cockpit (COCPCPR) link in Accounting tab (cProjects)

Hi,
How can I have the controlling cockpit (COCPCPR) link to appear in the accounting tab?
I have been able to configure the services for other object links. However, we also want the cocpcpr link to appear under the "Accounting" tab so that a user can use this link to correct cockpit errors, if any, instead of logging in to the R3 system to correct them.

We are on PPM5.0, and have accounting intergration for automatic replication to PS.
The replication works. However, we have the need to visit COCPCPR at times to remove warnings/errors.
I have seen COCPCPR link appear under the cProjects Accounting tab earlier (in some other implementation).
However, I don't see any such link/button in my implementation. We have implemented the object link services by which we are able to get to the object in R3 (in another system). However, the COCPCPR link does not appear under the Accouting tab.
We have PPM and PS on different systems.

Revenues are not coming in the accounting tab page in cprojects

Hi all,
I am configuring the mulitilevel controlling on account assignment in cprojects with Project system.
I have given cost/revenue rate in customization along with revenue element. The revenue element i categorised in the cost element category of "11".Then the cost element has assigned to controlling area and then to company code and then i replicated these values also.
Apart from the above, is there any other setting i forgot? Please help me.

PCO2 --> internal order
PS06 --> Easy cost planning
The costing variant controls how the costing is to be carried out. With it, you control:
-->Whether the costing results are to be regarded as plan costs or actual costs
-->Which prices are used to value the materials, internal activities and external activities
-->How overhead surcharges are calculated
(B)Define cost & revenue rates for the project role & enter the validity details. The start date and end of the validity dates should be within the organization and project dates ( IN C PROJECT )
then go to make seeting in ERP
C PROEJCT --> ACCOUNT INTEGRATION --> MAKE SETING IN ERP ( R/3 SYSTEM)
(C) In CONTROLLING check the costing varaint
(D)Settings for Define Controlling Scenario
(E)Assign Cost Elements and Activity Types
Check this setting any thing is missing .
and also check in Cproject Resoure tab page --> Costing tab

Project builder link is not working in cProjects accounting tab.

Hello All,
I have a problem in the cProjects accounting tab where when I select the WBS element in the PS project the page opens where the links to the different systems are seen and when i select to the Project Builder:Display WBS element link it takes me to the initial Screen of the ERP systems instead of taking me to the Project Builder transaction code.

Make sure the article that you want to share is un-protected from folio Producer dashboard because all articles are protected by default. And other coupkle of settings to enable social sharing.

Hide GL account Tab in MIRO programatically

Generally MIRO screen have " PO reference" TAB & if you want active "G/L account' & " Material " TABs in the MIRO screen, you can activate by selecting two check boxes of "Direct posting to G/L account=active" & "Direct Posting to Material=active" & then save, in the following path
SPRO> Material Management>Logistics Invoice Verification->Incoming Invoice->Activate Direct Posting to G/L Accounts and Material Account

CProjects "accounting Tab" role/resource assignments missing

Hi, I have assinged the Project Taks with roles and resources but when i navigate to the "accounting tab" and expand the Project structure , the assignments are not visible, However the costs and rev related to the assignments are updated in the back end ( ECC PS).
Is there some thing which would stop the display of these assignments in the "accountig tab" ?

How to hide a tab in WBS?

Dear Gurus,
In my project Cproject is activated.
So, If i click WBS element, it is showing last Tab as cProjects. I want to hide the tab?

however path I have provided you that was for the custmised details screen.
The contents of the detail screens delivered by SAP are defined in the system and cannot be changed. However you can develop your own detail screens and include them in Project System Customizing for later use.
You can make the following settings:
Enter your own title for tab pages and put an icon on these pages.
Hide tab pages that you do not need
Determine which detail screens appear on which tab page and where
Change the layout according to the transaction (create, change, display)
If you do not want to redefine all the tab pages, copy the SAP standard layout or the Customizing settings and change these settings to suit your needs.

Hiding Tabs in cProjects

Good Afternoon All,
Currently we are implementing SAP projects 4.5 and we have a requirement as below.
Al Planners and project administrators should able to see the u201CStructureu201D, but u201CResource Manageru201D should not able to see.
Is there any way that we can hide or remove a particular object /Tab for a particular user group, but should available to the planners and administrators, can this be achieve via custom authorisation object with any BADI enhancement, could you please share some information if any one done this before?

Yes your requirement can be met. It requires,
1. Custom authorization check
2. Hiding of the tab based on 1.
Custom Auth Check your basis / security person should be able to help you create a Custom Auth object against the planner, project admin and resource manager roles. You can check for authorization using this custom object.
Use a development to hide the tab based on the above solution from Zhenbo. Hiding the structure Tab In cProjects you can hide your cProjects structure tab in 2 ways using the SPRO or using a BADI.

Display Costs on Accounting Tab in Company Code (object / Project) curerncy

Hello Forum Experts,
We have this major issue whereas teh costs on the Accounting Tab are shown in Controlling Area Currency.
It seems this is the standard cProjects behaviour.
What changes / enhancement do we have to implement to ensure that the costs are shown in company Code Currency.
For example: Controlling Area Currency is USD.
There is a branch of teh company operating in Gemany - it has its own company Code. So they create projects in Germany and would expect to plan and see teh costs in cProjects in Euros instead of USD's.
How can we solev this problem. It is quite amjor and most probably the foreign comapies will not use the system as it amkes no sense to them to plan / see costs in another cuurency than their own...

The costing in cProjects is always carried out in Controlling Area currency.
Make modifications in the following Class to display the costing in cProjects in Company Code Currency :
1) Class: CL_GUI_EASY_COST_PLANNING
Method: CONSTRUCTOR
Here set Object currency "1" as Default .
2) Class CL_R3_OLR3_INTERNAL_ORDER
Method GET_REPORTING_DATA

If I am correct then you want the Accounting tab visible but disabled.
Well, AFAIK you cannot 'grey out' this tab.
But you can try an alternative approach: You can lock all the fields in this particular tab. In this way, the tab is visible but the fields inside it are non-editable. You 'll have to use IapiDocumentLockManager APIs for this.
Be aware that this is a resource intensive way. I would suggest you go by the approach suggested above and hide it.

Phone account tab on jabber on windows missing

Hi All,
i had a problem with jabber on windows, i already login and can do a IM and see the presence, but i cant do voice/video call,
when i try to see the setting on file - options - i cant see any phone account tab, that should be i used to put my phone configuration,
i use a BE6K with unified PM, are anyone experienced this before?

You need to add the following on your xml for the phone account option to show on the newer Jabber versions
Not_Set
Save the file as jabber-user.xml to test,
Get the file to this folder:
C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Cisco\Unified Communications\Jabber\CSF\Config.
If this solves the issue upload the xml as jabber.xml on a TFTP.

1. I need to add a field in Sales order.
Path for the same is as follows:
VA01> Goto> Header--> Accounting tab
2. The field will be a date field that needs to calculate date on.
a)create a new field. ex - zchdt (chq due date)
b)when customers enters value in Assignment,
i.e vbak-zuonr
after that trigger logic is
3.vabk-kunnr = knvv-kunnr
a)sy-date + knvv-kvgr2 (exclude sundays)
example - 14 sept + 30 days = 14th october
should populate value - 14th october i.e. field (zchdt)
4. This activity needs to be triggered before the sales order is saved.
kindly know whether this is possible or not.
