Hide Decimal places if they are 0
Hi,
is it possible to hide the decimal places if they are 0?
For Example, if the number is "123.00" I want to display "123" in the decimal field and if it is "123.45" it should show "123.45".
Regards
Gerhard
Hi,
Stumbled upon this thread via a google search. I'm looking for an answer to the exact opposite of the question Gerhard8 has raised.
I've entered a decimal field in the PDF I'm creating via Livecycle. When previewing it a value entered as "123.00" is automatically converted into "123" when the user exits out of the field. I don't want it to do that. I want "123.00" to stay as "123.00".
Is there a particular numeric pattern used to achieve that?
Many thanks

How to hide multiple XsltListViewWebPart when they are empty using OOTB or script?
Hello,
I have a SharePoint 2013 page that displays a few XsltListViewWebParts i.e.(Lists).
All the lists contains rows of data when we open:
http://Server/Pages/MyPage.aspx
But, We have some customized filters and views in place, and when we open e.g.: http://Server/Pages/MyPage.aspx?FilterField1=LinkTitle&FilterValue1=250
The page opens correctly, But all the XsltListViewWebParts which do not meet the filtering will still be shown but as empty web parts - How to hide those?
In other words, In my SharePoint 2013, How to fully hide multiple XsltListViewWebParts on a page when they are empty ?
I have already tried:
http://mmman.itgroove.net/2014/06/22/hiding-empty-sharepoint-web-parts-using-javascriptjquery-on-a-dashboard-page/
http://sharepoint.stackexchange.com/questions/340/setting-displaynone-for-empty-web-part-zones

Nothing works - Am I doing it incorrectly or am I missing anything ?
I would be thankful for your suggestions !Hi,
The problem was due to JQuery is not loaded in the page.
Please follow the steps given in the URL :http://mmman.itgroove.net/2014/06/22/hiding-empty-sharepoint-web-parts-using-javascriptjquery-on-a-dashboard-page/
Instead of referring the JQuery link provided in that page, use the Google CDN (<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.11.2/jquery.min.js"></script> )Link in script editor before calling
$(document).ready(function(){
setTimeout(waitForSPReady, 100);
Thanks.

Casting Number as Char - how to hide decimal places?
I am casting a number as a Char because I am concatenating it with other things. The problem is that when I cast to char, it displays two decimal places of just 0's. I really don't want to show the decimal place or anything after it. Is there a way to remove them?
ThanksHi,
You can have two approaches for the same.
1> cast( cast(column as int) as char)
2> Go to the column properties(i.e the finger mark on the coulmn heading). Then select the data format tab and check the override the default data format tab. Then you can set the decimal places. -

How do I delete purchases and samples from I books inc cloud?
You can't currently permanently delete items from your purchase history, all you can do is hide them so that they are less visible : hiding and unhiding. If you are on iOS 6 on your iPad then hiding doesn't currently work on it, so you will need to use your computer's iTunes.
You should be able to delete them from the iBooks app itself on your iPad via the Edit button at the top right of the bookshelf -

iMac screen appears to have smudges under the glass along the top of the screen. They are not on the surface and it doesn't matter what wallpaper is in place. Anyone else had this happen?
The " glass" front of your iMac is really not glass, at all, but an optically clear polycarbonite (plastic) that a black border painted or possibly "printed" on the backside (to hide the strong magnets that hold this cover on) that has a metal frame glued to the back to which this frame is held in place with very strong magnets.
You use one or two small suction cups or a suction cup from a windshield mounted mobile GPS mount or purchase a small commercial glass cup, that is used to handle bare glass, to get the polycarbonite frame off.
The reason I mention the material is polycarbonite is that you should NOT be using ANY type of retail/commercial window glass cleaners on this front glass or on the LCD screen.
Polycarbonite easily scratches and clouds when using ANY conventional glass cleaning solutions.
You need to use a lint-free, microfiber style cloth dampened in warm water (completely wring the water out of the microfiber cloth to the point cloth is just warm and damp with NO water dripping at all from the cloth) and use this to get the screen and glass don't screen clean. -

I have several users in an exchange environment who cannot email a photo from the iPhone. When the click on Email Photo, they are prompted to configure a mail account even though there is already an exchange account in place. How do I remediate this? Not all of the users in our environment have this issue. If the users having this issue, install a secondary email account, Gmail, Hotmail, etc, then they can send through those accounts. Why would the exchange account not be seen to send photos?
Sounds like it worked until the policies associated with the account that are creating the problem were fully pushed down.
Try setting up a new (test) Exhange account and see if it behaves the same way on the phone (after removing the problem account from the phone, of course). -
Decimal Places are not Permitted for Chile Country
Hi All,
In OVA8 settings for Chile country at the field max.doc value, i am not able to use the decimals. getting error message as Decimlas are not permitted (Message no - 00011). checked OY04 - there is no decimals for Chile currency. checked - OY01 Dec.Pt. format as 1.234.567,89
For Argentina, Peru and Uruguay same settings has been done and i am able to save the decimal points in OVA8 at the field max.doc value.
Please let me know if there is any specifis settings for Chile or SAP NOTE
Thanks,
MaheshHI,
just looking at a brand-new ECC60 / EhP4 system where nobody changed OY04 settings.
I can find CLP (Chilean Peso) in the list with ' ' decimal places, so thats why there are no decimal places allowed.
Check again OY04, if you find an entry for CLP and NOTHING is maintained it means that ZERO dec. places are allowed.
If you find an entry in OY04 with a number of decimal places >0 than this decimal places are allowed.
If there is NO entry for a given currency then its used with 2 decimal places (SAP standard).
So OY04 is only for the currencies that should be treated different as SAP standard.
Best regards, Christian

Hi,
I am getting an error in CIF Inbound queue (function: CIF_ORDER_INBOUND_30A). The error text says "Only 0 decimal places are permitted for unit of measure PC".
Can anyone point out the solution to resolve this error? It would be a big help for me as I am new to APO and so getting difficult to find a clue for it.
Thanks.
Regards
MansiHi Mansi,
Please check the cif queue you will get the order number from that order number you can find out material code. Then check the material master unit of measure in MM03 you have used some alternative unit of measure and system is unable to convert order to alternative unit of measure because of decimal setting. If you go to CUNI and check the unit if measure PC it is not permitted for decimal places. If you need decimal than change the UoMof Material and use diff UoM or allow the decimal for PC which is not good practice.

I think I effectively proved my point about knowing nothing about this, by posting my whole question in the title. To review, I have a 1 year old iPad, and have Pages on it for a word processing program. I somehow turned on bullets on one of my documents and can't figure out how to stop it, and they are in all the wrong places. How do I turn it off?

If your computer is on one minute before it freezes, than you have one minute to secure your serial number.
click the apple----->click about this Mac ------> click on version----> until you see the serial number. You may have to do this a couple of times if it freezes before you have all the numbers. A camera might help.

Does iWeb place a limit on size of jpeg that can be uploaded to server? I'm placing large mb jpeg files and they are showing up on web as kb files. My provider does not put any size limit on what I upload. Is it iWeb?
Here is the problem, I've done this, set the right settings in iWeb as indicated above and yet the images are still small images. Is there a cache in iWeb that may need to be cleaned out or a setting somewhere messing me up.
I normally put web size images however for this one album I need them to be full size.
Any other help full suggestions? I appreciate all your help. I'm guessing there is something simple I'm missing. -
I sometimes have blue and red square-shaped dots appear on my MBP; especially but not exclusively when I'm watching videos. The dots don't stay in the same place; and also they are not there all the time. Also, sometimes my animations (applications opening, windows being dragged, etc.) will glitch as well. Again, this is not a continual thing; it just happens variously throughout my day. MBP Model A1212, OS X 10.6.8, 2.33 Ghz 3GB RAM.
Did the original songs that do not appear on the car player play in the Music app on the iPod? Sometimes glitches happen and they do not. Also, If y ohave a 5G iPod/iOS 7, purchase songs will show with an cloud icon by them if they are not downloaded if Shall All is turned on in Settings>iTunes and App Store
