Hide repeating column in table

I have a table wrapped in a subform which allows the user to add/delete multiple rows, I want to use a button to hide a column in the table once the use has finished adding/deleting rows.
I have tried:-
xfa.resolveNodes("Tables.Table1.Row[*].deleteBtn").presence="hidden";
Any help would be appreciated

To remove the column completely,
you need to comment this line in the method GET_TABLE_LINE_SAMPLE of the Table View Context node class.
TYPES: BEGIN OF line,
* thtmlb_oca type crm_thtmlb_one_click_action.
INCLUDE TYPE xxxx.
TYPES: END OF line.
Disabling can be controlled in the method GET_OCA_T_TABLE of the same class by putting code to delete the button.
LOOP AT rt_actions ASSIGNING <fs_actions>.
<fs_actions>-active = abap_false.
ENDLOOP.

How to hide Actions Column in Table

Hi All,
I have a simple requirement: I am showing a table (items)
- the "Actions" column (Column with Buttons to Edit and Delete a particualr row) must not be show -> no changes to the table are allowed (I need to hide/ disable this column)
How can I hide this column od the table?
I have found out that the field is called thtmlb_oca and that htere is a getter method get-thtmlb_oca. However, the method does not contain coding and I do not know how to HIDE this field/ column...

In the WebApplication Designer start Tools -> View Definition -> Based on a Query. Choose your query, change layout to your requirements and save the view. Now just use the view in your webtemplate.

Hide Move Columns on tables 11.1.1.5.0

Hi! I'm using obiee 11.1.1.5.0 and I got it hide order columns with css style. (add code in a dashboard page)
Now I would like to approach hide move columns....
You can see in my image that arrows are gone in my table...but still move columns...I need to remove it!
Anybody knows about it??

In version 11.1.1.5.0 I don't have this option...but I have a good solution:
we have to add a text in a dashboard page like this:

Hide a column in one view, but show in other

Hi all.
I need to hide a column on "Table" view, but column needs to show up on "Pivot table".
I know we can hide it on pivot ( exclude It ) and show on table, but I want to know if reverse is possible.
This is needed because I am doing a view selector for writeback. And I dont want to display all the columns on writeback table view. But it needs to be there on Pivot table.
Please let me know if it is possible.

Yes we can do that.
Check on the "Hide" in the column format tab of the column that you need to display in the table lay out.
Now dupliate the same view and in the pivot table column intially you will not see the column displayed.
Now in the properties check on "hidden" in the "format headings" and you wont see it still and now uncheck the"hidden" and you shoud be able to see the column displayed in the pivot view
In this way you will have the column hidden in the table view and displayed in the pivot table.

Hiding columns in table control

Hi Experts,
I have requirement to hide certain columns in table control. I have tried my best to use SCREEN structure with ACTIVE, INVISIBLE, INPUT, OUTPUT options, but not working properly.
The table control has nearly 10 columns with DATE as the first one. Once the screen appears after executing program, the second and third columns should be hidden and when double clicked on any date value from the basic list, the hidden columns should be visible with its values in the next level.
I am not able to hide columns in table control. By the way, suggest me options for double clicking in table control too.

The value of sy-ucomm when user double clicks is /CS
To get the details of field name and value use:-
GET CURSOR FIELD g_cs_field VALUE g_cs_value.
Now you can code in PAI to display those two columns initially hidden by the user:-
CASE sy-ucomm.
WHEN '/CS'.
    IF g_cs_field = '<field1_name>'.
      LOOP AT SCREEN.
        IF screen-group1 = 'ABC'.
          screen-invisible = 0. "display control
          screen-active = 1.
        ENDIF.
        MODIFY SCREEN.
      ENDLOOP.
    ENDIF.
ENDCASE.
Remember that in PBO of screen you have written a code to hide these same columns initially, so make sure that the code is not executed when user double clicks to display those columns.
Try this code for hidding the columns in table control initially.
MODULE status_8001.
LOOP AT SCREEN.
    IF screen-group1 = 'ABC'.
      screen-invisible = 1. "hide control
      screen-active = 0.
    ENDIF.
    MODIFY SCREEN.
ENDLOOP.
ENDMODULE.

Hide/remove column in adf pivot table

Is it somehow possible to hide or to remove column (I need to hide agregate column, but is it possible for regular data cell) dynamically when some conditions are met? I've tried getDataFormat and getheaderFormat methods to set width of the columns to 0, but it doesn't work. Also I've tried to set rawvalue of data cell to null/"" and width to 0 but without success to hide column. Problem applies to adf pivot table 11g.

You have the option for the column as to be suppress or repeat
Go to column properties and go to column format second tab select the option Suppress.

Page 131 of the Answers user guide refers to a 'Hide Repeated Values' setting for pivot tables. I don't see this anywhere. Please help!

Hide a column in one table view but show it in another

I need to hide a column in one tables view but show it in another table view in the same report. Is this possible?

Hi VNC,
If you're crafty with javascript, you could probably write a script that would set the CSS property DISPLAY to NONE to hide the column in the table view you didn't want but leave it there in the view you did want.

Hide columns in table interface

I've used SAP's 'How to ... Hide a column in your Web Query with the Table Interface". The problem is that if I do any OLAP function my headings reappear. It doesn't look like the 'structure_cell' method is being called. Is there a way to force this method to be call? Or is there a flag to reset in the table class that tells the class that this is the first time running the report. It seems that the initinal run is different than if you use any OLAP function.

Make sure the STATELESS navigation state of the template is not set. There is no properties which needs to be set in the class for this.

Or
If you want to remove the entire column ... Create 2 tables One with the column and other without.

am using BIP 10.1.3.2 to generate reports.In the template i need to hide one column based on condition on other.am using SQL query as my data source type.can anybody help me ?

Use <?if:?> condition in the RTF, but its mainly for the rows not column. You can work around this by handeling in backend. Or take two separate tables, one with the column which you want to hide and another table without that column and before calling that table use IF condition.

Web Report - Hide Repeated Values

My web report hides repeated values regardless of the query setting.
Is there any way to set a specific column to not hide repeated values? Using the table API?

have you try to remove the check mark of properties 'suppress repeated text' in 'specific' section of your web item 'table' in web template ?
or you can give parameter SUPPRESS_REPETITION_TEXTS for web item 'table' with value blank
