Hide the blue bar footer that comes in hover panel preview.

Hi,
I want to hide/disable the "Menu" and "Full Screen" option that comes  in hover preview panel.
I have highlighted it as red circle in the hover panel in below image.
 please help me out in getting rid of that menu and full screen option
Thanks,
Rajesh

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you want to hide the blue bar footer that comes in hover panel preview.
To custom the hover panel, you need to copying the item display template
named Item_Default.  The
Item_Default display template contains a reference to the
Item_Default_HoverPanel hover panel display template.
Then you can copy the
Item_Default_HoverPanel display template and modify the hover panel display template.
For more information, you can refer to:

  • I need to know how to access and use the Blue Tooth device that comes with the Thinkpad W520

    Forgive me for being a techo illiterate. But I know that this thing supports Blue Tooth. And one "problem" with it is although it has a DVD and sound card, music and movies have very lousy audibility. Is there something I can do about that? I can barely hear anything on a movie unless I plug in head phones to the computer. But that leaves me stuck in my seat. I'd like to get cordless headsets. And I'm ready to purchase the Plantronics BackBeat 903+ Wireless Stereo Headphones - Mic, Rich Audio, Bass-boost, Voice Alerts, OpenMic, 3-way Earpiece. And have heard that it's compatable with a pc that has Bluetooth capabilities. but could someone get back to me with exactly how I access and use the Blue Tooth device?

    I was searching for how to setup the 903+ and my W520 and came to this thread.
    1. The OP was asking about audio and there are updated audio drivers / tweaks to get it louder / install different drivers.
    but if you are going to go BT headset....
    2.  What I did for the 903+
    Uninstalled the currently installed ThinkPad Bluetooth program. ( I forget the exact name, came stock and was out of date).
    Required reboot.
    Activated the Bluetooth with FN + F5 menu.
    Downloaded the updated Bluetooth driver from lenovo (search lenovo driver matrix).
    Ran the updated Bluetooth driver install.
    Rebooted for good measure.
    Double-clicked the Bluetooth Tray icon.
    Clicked Add A Device.
    Turned off my 903+ and continued to hold down the power to enable pairing mode.
    Showed up in devices and added it.
    Worked for audio. There are probably additional options for enabling the mic.
    Hope that helps whoever might find this thread.

  • HT1277 I can recieve emails but I can't send them out.  The blue bar at the bottom left of the Mail page gets half way across and then the pop-up "Cannot send message using the server" comes up?  What do I do?

    I have my Yahoo Mail "poped" over to Apple Mail.  I can recieve emails but I can't send them out.  The blue bar at the bottom left of the Mail page gets half way across and then the pop-up "Cannot send message using the server" comes up?  What do I do?

    Your outgoing mail server is different than your incoming server. Usually the outgoing mail server will have smtp in it. I noticed yours said "cannot send message using the server mail.wavecable.com". That sounds like an incoming mail server. Try setting your outgoing mail server to smtp.wavecable.com
    I hope that helps.

  • Is there an app that hides the status bar?  Or permits customization of it?

    I'd like to hide the time in the status bar, or replace it with other information.
    Reason: I don't like being reminded what time it is when using a PDA type device, especially not in the middle of the night if I'm reading on it.
    Is there an app that hides the bar universally, or lets one replace the time, with say the date or other text?

    Are you sure about that? Several highly regarded, widely downloaded apps, e.g., eReader, have an option to hide the status bar. The developer forums are awash in discussions about the commands to hide the status bar-- it's built in to the SDK.
    I figure someone will have put out a small program that does nothing but hide the status bar or allow its tweaking... much like StatusBar does on the Palm OS 5 PDAs...

  • Is there any way to hide the menu bar?

    I've been trying to find out if there's a way to hide the menu bar unless the mouse pointer is pushed up to the upper edge of the screen, I know there are third-party applications that let you do this (Menufela which uses Application Enhancer that I prefer to avoid as it is causes more problems than it solves as far as I'm concerned), I also know that it's possible to write applications that cause the menu bar to exhibit this behaviour while they're focused.
    But what I'm looking for is a way to make it behave this way all the time without installing Application Enhancer and having to deal with all the headaches that come with it.

    It does seem odd that you can't get the menu bar to hide itself though, I seem to recall something about editing certain files in .app directories to make it hide itself on an app-by-app basis.
    To hide the menu bar for a single application, you need to modify the Info.plist, as described -> here <-.
    This will work on nearly every application. Only on a very few applications it will cause incorrect behaviour, mainly Finder.app.
    So a simple way to realise your wishes, is to create an Applescript, that will "hide and unhide" the menubar for a couple of apps at one time.
    Here a demonstration example: Choose one or more apps. Menu bar will be hidden/unhidden:
    <pre style="
    font-family: 'Courier New', Courier;
    font-size: 12px;
    line-height: 1;
    border: 2px solid #1E90FF;
    width: 700px; height: 200px;
    color: #000000;
    background-color: #F5FFFA;
    overflow: auto;">
    on run
    set xyz to choose file default location (path to "apps" as alias) with multiple selections allowed without invisibles
    repeat with i in xyz
    set appName to name of (get info for i)
    if appName ends with ".app" then set proName to text 1 thru -5 of appName
    tell application "Finder"
    try
    if exists (process proName) then
    set x to display dialog "Is " & "\"" & proName & "\"" & " still running? If so, please quit it now!" buttons {"Cancel", "Quit it!", "No! Not running!"} default button 2 with icon 0
    end if
    end try
    end tell
    try
    if button returned of x is "Quit it!" then
    tell application appName
    quit
    end tell
    end if
    end try
    try
    ((i as Unicode text) & "Contents:Info.plist") as alias
    set infoPlist to quoted form of POSIX path of ((i as Unicode text) & "Contents:Info")
    try
    do shell script "defaults read " & infoPlist & " LSUIPresentationMode"
    do shell script "defaults delete " & infoPlist & " LSUIPresentationMode"
    on error
    do shell script "defaults write " & infoPlist & " LSUIPresentationMode -int 4"
    end try
    end try
    end repeat
    end run
    </pre>

  • I have a problem since installing ios6 when backing up to a laptop I got a message stating there was not enough room on the c: drive, the iTunes bar indicated that apps, etc were using space, but the yellow 'others' category was eating up all the space

    I'm running out of space on the bar that shows the usage split (how many gb's for apps photos, music etc) the yellow 'others' category seems to be taking up all the available space. This is happening after updating to ios6. I don't seem to be able to get the backup on my laptop to complete successfully. I'm also unable to get Music to work on the phone. The picture of the cloud appears on screen, sometimes the blue bar appears, but after a while it bombs out and nothing else happens. Any ideas?

    It does not immediately delete the files that are missing.. it merely tries to backup the new files it has discovered on the external drive. Since you moved the files there, the backup at least for a while will contain both copies.. and that is why it doesn't have enough space to backup.
    Fixing the problem.. hmm pondini is the expert.. you should be able to delete the backup of the photos in existing backup.. there are instructions to do it.. but it is a very poor way to do things.
    Much better. .archive off the existing backup.. this is long and slow but worth it. you need a usb drive of the same size as the TC drive. Then erase the TC and start a fresh set of backups.
    The alternative is to use the USB drive as a new target.. but it is much slower than the TC internal drive.

  • Is it or will it ever be possible to hide the notifocation bar when using firefox? Either with an extension or as an included setting?

    is there an option i havent found that will allow me to hide the notification bar while using firefox (similar to whats possible with opera mobile) if not is it likely to be added in a future update? as i dont think extensions have enough permissions to hide the notification bar.

  • Is there a way to hide the tab bar on my I Pad 2 in IOS 5?

    Anyone know of a way to hide the tab bar in an I Pad 2 using OS5? It wasn't there on the previous operating system.

    I can only assume that you are talking about Safari and the answer is no. Safari now uses tabs. If you want a tab free browser, download iCab. You can use tabs or you also have the old Safari way of browsing open web pages at your disposal. Another rally nice feature is that you can swipe from one open web page to another open web page. It also has a ton of other features that Safari does not have.

  • Is there a way to hide the status bar when reading a book in iBooks?

    Every other ereader app seems to hide the status bar (at the top of the screen, with battery etc) automatically, or there is a setting to do so. I can't seem to be able to do this in iBooks. What am I missing?

    Nothing - afaik iBook can't do that trick

  • How do I temporarily hide the scroll bars ?

    How do I temporarily hide the scroll bars ?

    I assume that your post in [[/questions/906990#answer-291125]] ended up in the wrong thread and should have appeared here.
    The only thing that changes if you run the code in the Scratchpad is the disappearance and reappearance of the scroll bar in the current tab. You do not see anything in the Scratchpad. So you need to switch back to the browser window.
    You can test it with this code, that should make both scroll bars appear:
    <pre><nowiki>void(document.body.style.setProperty("overflow","scroll",""));
    </nowiki></pre>
    [[/questions/906990#answer-291125]]:
    <blockquote>In Scratchpad I ran both:
    <pre><nowiki>void(document.body.style.setProperty("overflow-x","hidden",""));
    and
    void(document.body.style.setProperty("overflow-x","hidden",""));
    In the 2nd one I got:
    17:48:57.826 |x unexpected end of XML source
    @ Scratchpad:1'''
    For the 1st one I got no activity, only a blinking cursor.
    any other ideas ?

    In Safari the side bar of bookmarks, etc. can be dismissed by touching the blue Bookmark icon. Swipe down on the screen to reveal the icon if hidden.

  • The new version of firefox does not meet my customization needs, because I can't hide the navigation bar.

    In the old version of firefox, my window setup looks like this: http://puu.sh/8wFeJ.png
    I can't replicate this in the newer version, even in the classic view, I can't hide the navigation bar.

    With the classic view extension provided by Mozilla, you have the ability to move that, as well as the URL bar, back down to the bottom where I usually keep them. This leaves me with an empty navigation bar but no way to hide it.

  • How can I hide the menu bar of better a specific option without using an addon?

    For security purpose on my environment, I would like to hide the Menu Bar option or (better) restrict the right to install an add-on, change the proxy configuration etc..
    I dont want to use an add-on for that as it will perhaps not work anymore if I update my firefox.
    So i am searching for a registry/file user preference solution or anything else that will let me doing that.

  • I want google as my search engine, not Bing. How do I make Google the default search engine in the "Search the Web" feature of the search bar; or, how do I remove the "Search the Web" feature of the search bar so that "Google" can be default?

    I want google as my search engine, not Bing. But no matter what I do in "Manage Search Engines," Firefox seems to reset to "Search the Web," which uses Bing.
    How do I make Google the default search engine in the "Search the Web" feature of the search bar; or, how do I remove the "Search the Web" feature of the search bar so that "Google" can be default? When I move "Search the Web" down and "Google" up, the search bar resets every time Firefox reloads.

    Sometime Bing is not located in the Add/Remove programs section of the control panel.
    6 Easy Steps to Remove Bing from Mozilla Firefox:
    1. Click on the "inverted triangle" located to the right of the orange Bing icon.
    2. Select the option "Manage Search Engines...". (A pop-up window will appear titled "Manage Search Engine List.)
    3. Select "Bing".
    4. Click the "Remove" button.
    5. Select the desired search engine from the list.
    6. Click "OK"
    All Done.... :-)
    Happy Searching...
