High Rollback Per Cent in SAP

I have been reviewing Oracle Statspack reports generated in our SAP R/3 database and one of the statistics that jumped out at me is a very high Rollback per Transaction percent of over 45%.  I support other non-SAP Oracle databases and have never seen anything like this.  I am somewhat new to SAP and realize this might be normal (??), but this leads me to be concerned about what is happening in the environment.  My question is..... Is this normal in an SAP Oracle database and if so why? Or is this truely a problem that needs serious further analysis?
We are running Oracle 9.2.0.5 on a 16-way Sun server.  The Oracle load profile looks something like this:
Logical Reads (100,000/s)
Physical Reads (2,100/s)
Physical Writes (550/s)
Transactions (100/s)
RollBack per Transaction % (45%)

You should not run statspack if using SAP.
your statistics should be calculated using:
brconnect -c -u / -f stats
as for 45% rollback, I cannot really answer.

  • Statspack Rollback per transaction % vs Log Miner rollback = 1

    Hi,
I'm investigating high Rollback per transaction % = 30% in our 9.2.0.8 EE databse .
First think was checking all archive logs from period equal to statspack snapshot range
but looks like there is huge discrepancy between that two tools .
What I've found from v$logmnr_contents where rollback = 1 was that
only 0,5% transactions was rollbacked .
I'm wondering what could cause such difference is that true
unique constraint violation (or other exceptions) is not recorded in redologs as rollbacked transaction ?
    Any ideas ?
Major problem is still what is causing high rollback % .

I'm investigating increase in undo usage and Rollback per transaction % = 30 .
Strange issue because v$transacion is not showing demanding transacions , rather small quick (oltp system).

  • Rollback per transaction too high

Hi, I am investigating performance problems on our database which is used by a third party application.
Using the stats' pack I have established that the
Rollback per transaction % is very high (between 60-70%).
I am on version 8.17 or Oracle, the application is written in powerbuilder. And it users lots of sessions per user.
    A typical user users 5-7 sessions .
How can i find what is causing all this rollback?
could it be related to all these sessions ?

    Hi,
The Rollback Per Transaction statistic will report on all statements that were rolled back, regardless of whether there is anything to rollback or not.
You can see more information about statspack report into metlink note 228913.1 - Systemwide Tuning using STATSPACK Reports

  • TS3297 I have only a problem downloading the music porchased o. itunes on my min ipad? The file reach about 90 per cent and rhen it says error ..try later...what i have to do to solve it? Thank you in advance.

    Hi
I have a problem when trying to download music or videos purchased on Itunes on my mini Ipad.
When reaching about ninty per cent of download it says error end try later.
What can I do to solve this?
App store and book store work fine and I have no problem with them.
    Thank you for your help!
My i Os is updated to the last version.

    Hello Theresa818,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!
It sounds like the cellular data will not activate for some reason on the iPad.
I found this article that will help you resolve this issue here, named iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular Models): Troubleshooting a cellular data connection, found here http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4249
Check for a carrier settings update.
    Update your iPad.
Toggle the Cellular Data setting off and on under Settings > Cellular Data.
    Restart your iPad.
Tap Settings > General > About. Locate the Carrier entry and make sure that your carrier is correct.
If your SIM card has SIM PIN enabled, try turning it off: Tap Settings > Cellular Data > SIM PIN.
Make sure you're in an area of good coverage. If the cellular data connection works in another area, contact your carrier to report the original affected area.
Reset network settings: Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
    Restore the iPad as new.
If none of the above steps resolves the issue, make an appointment at an Apple Retail Store, contact your carrier, or contact AppleCare to troubleshoot further.
I know you may have done one or two of the steps here, so you can skip those.
    Take care,
    Sterling

  • CAD from Contact center into SAP CRM

    Hi All,
I am no SAP expert, but the following is what we are trying to achieve:
-A call comes into a contact center application
-Via an integration this call is send to a SAP ICI webinterface and ends up at the agent logged on to that SAP session.
Now we have an awkward situation that the original number coming from the PBX is rather misformed +00031123456789. What we are expecting is +31123456789. The number coming from the PBX can be changed, but that is going to have consequences for all other people that are not connected to SAP, so doing this is not an option.
What I have been reading about is that it is possible to get CAD (Call Attached Data) to be send into the SAP ICI environment.
The contact center application is delivering the data in the following XML format:
What I am interested in is to map all these fields into such a way that I can use them in the SAP ICI interface.
I have been reading Link:[; and in there it is mentioned that there needs to be a mapping between these fields and an XSLT and ABAP. And a reference to a book.
Is there anybody that can help me with this? Or give me some other advice that could help me out in this case. I would very much appreciate it.
Thank you all very much for your input.
    Best regards,
    Corné

    Hello Corné,
I'm guessing the reference was to my book, "Maximizing Your SAP CRM Interaction Center" from SAP Press, where on page 396 I offer a paragraph on how to identify a call via CAD rather than ANI.
    Here's the excerpt:
How to Identify Account via Call Attached Data (CAD)
Is the Interaction Center able to identify a customer via account number contained in call attached data (CAD) rather the via automatic number identification (ANI) service?
Yes, it is possible to identify a customer by extracting the customeru2019s account ID from the call attached data (CAD). This can be configured in the IMG activity Define Account Identification Profiles (transaction CRMC_IC_BPPROF) in the fields under Contact-Attached Data Extraction. In the CAD Application ID field, enter the value that appears in the application ID tag that appears in the XML code of the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system that collects the customeru2019s account number (e.g., u201CGenesys-CADu201D). In the XSLT file field, enter the name of the XSLT program that is responsible for extracting the account ID from the contact attached data. You are responsible for creating this XSLT file. However, SAP delivers a sample XSLT file that you can reference, named CRM_IC_BPIDENT_EXT_IAD_TO_ABAP. SAP also provides a sample program showing how to extract CAD data from, for example, Genesys named CRM_IC_BPIDENT_EXT_IAD_GENESYS. See SAP note 707104 for additional information.

Some friends have told me that their phone can last up to 2 days without charging??
If they are getting 2 days without charging, it's unlikely they use their device very much.
A full day is pretty good....and if I'm careful, I can easily get a full day of usage.
For me, normal is charging the iPhone mid afternoon at work, but I use it a lot.
My typical usage is 35 mins of listening to podcasts, checking email, checking my RSS feed, and checking a few apps while I ride my bike when I first get up.  Then listening to several podcasts at work.
I typically stream music while working out during my lunch hour and use the Men's Health Fitness app to track my progress.
By about 2pm I'm ready to charge the device as it's getting low (somewhere between 20% and 50%).
I leave bluetooth, Wi-FI, and location services turned on all the time.
Personally, I just do not see the point in going into settings to turn on the feature when I need it... just too much hassle.  All of my listening to podcasts and music is via Bluetooth.
I know I'm not the heaviest user, but I just do not see how anyone can realistically make it two days on a single charge, it makes me think they simply do not use the features of the device and would be just as well served with a basic or feature phone.

    Hi
    Kindly Check follows
    1. Check the RFC connections are correctly Configured or not? You can execute the program “RSRFCTRC” and get a full log of the RFC connections details
2 you can check the BW queries are right optimized? Is this any network issues?
    3.  In which time are you facing the high rfc response? (During the 24 hours which time)?

  • Rollback per transaction issue

    hi
i found in our live database Rollback per transaction: 92.86% how i can troubleshoot this value and what is the rezone and how i can solve it

    Hi,
this is more likely to be an application issue, not a database one. I heard of webservers that do a rollback after each query (!), maybe it's one of them, or a similar error in the application design. I have also once come across a case when there was a great number of fake commits on the system (so called "readonly commits") which were caused by an internal Oracle bug. The problem was resolved by applying a patch -- so you may want to check MOS articles for similar symptoms.

  • Bb z3 in high level service center

many issues with my bb z3 like disconnecting wifi itself, Wi-Fi direct not working, blootuth tethering, deleting contects automatically. I sent my mobile to RIM ( a higher level service center ) to Bangalore. One month passed but i have no info regarding the phone...i worrying. Please friends help me if someone have any idea when they will return my phone.

    Hi anuj1,
Your best bet is to continue to follow up and visit the service center where you dropped off your device. As they may not necessarily be run by BlackBerry, but may be an affiliate of BlackBerry, they will know the current state of your device and be able to provide you with updates.
If they have provided you with a ticket number or contact information, follow up with them to get more information. Otherwise, I would recommend visiting them in person.
Best of luck with your device. Perhaps the issues you're experiencing with your BlackBerry Z3 are still being worked on, or have already been fixed by the service center!

  • Render only lasts 7 Per cent

    Hi
when rendering a three hour video it says writing video  estimating time about two hours, but after it gets to seven per cent it seems to stop as in the box disapears, also along over the video it is bluey gray then orange, what dose orange mean?

This is for Final Cut Express, correct, not FCP-X?
Do you have many still images in your timeline?
Go to the menu Sequence > Render Selection and make sure to set a checkmark by each condition.
Do the same for Sequence > Render All
    Now try the render again.
