Ho to retrive error messge from data base

i created one generic validation code in sample.java which is below i mentioned

But my question is i dont want write this error message here(Can accept only numbers) .i have one table in database .this error message and error no are there .how i will populate from database?

Hi,
Always mention your JDev version and the technologies used.
Have you tried creating a VO based (assuming you are using BC) on the error messages table, get the message according to the number (you can have a method in that VO impl, that would take the error number and return text), and display it?
