I go to Kap[lan University, there is a problem with firefox 7 and now I can not submit my homework items. When will this be fixed???

This is the second time I have been unable to open Firefox after an update. On both occassions nothing is displayed (no splash screen, nor errors). A firefox.exe task is then shown in Task Manager.

How do you block your teen from the internet while still allowing them to use the computer for homework?

My daughter has a mac air that she needs for homework and school documents. She is however so distracted by her access to all that the internet has to offer that she is forever "doing homework"! How can I block some of her access while still allowing her to actually do homework and use Safari for research?

Need help for C homework :)

Hello, first of all i dont want to resolv my homework just i need some help.
The probleme is that i need to make two *.c files, one for the function one for the main. The function is a nth root implementation http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nth_root_algorithm and i want to return the value, in main.c want to add the returned value to a variable but not seems to be working.

Auto Save - Lost My Homework - Power Outage

Help - I am brand new to Mac - I love my new iMac 24", but the power went out tonight as I was in the middle of my homework assignment. I was using Pages to write my report and had not saved in the last 30 min's. I lost everything I had done! Can you tell me how to set a auto-save function so if I have another power outage, I won't lose all my work again? If Mac's don't have this feature, is there 3rd. party software that will do this? If a PC can do this, I know a Mac can do it, but I just don't know how to turn that feature on.

I believe there is no such feature in Pages. And a Web search recently did not uncover 3rd-party s/w for Mac to do this, although I did see a link to someone who had written a script for it. All in all, I'd say for the moment it's easier to train ourselves to be paranoid and hit Apple-S every few minutes :o)

I'm struggling with my (4 years) old homework

4+ years ago i took some basic programming course where we had to write various (extremely simple) java code.
but i didn't turn in my homework in time, because i couldn't et my source code tho rhyme (excuse as good as any)

i realized, that i could (maybe) solve my first programming task as haiku, or two of them...
task was simple: (to get a bit more familiar with language) write programm that writes something to terminal.
and what i came up with is so far:

I have a new laptop and want to install a copy of CS5 or CS6 on it to do my homework at work.

Basiclly I upgraded from 32-bit to 64 bit and want to use my CS5 or CS6 suites on it. Can this be done or do I have to purchase a whole new copy of either one?
I don't want the cloud thing, internet is not always available.

Unfortunately I need 5 and 6 on both machines. I work full time and the only way to stay on top of homework is to do it during my lunch and breaks. I mainly need Photoshop and After Effects. I purchased CS6 Premium from the school but it did not have After Effects in it so I still us the CS5 version.
Products are way too expensive to be buying new ones for my machines every time I get change laptops or desktops.
The version I bought for CS 6 was a buy the serial, download the version. Can't find the 32-bit version if there is one (which after CS4 is not made anymore I believe).
So I guess I'm stuck then...

Help for MS Access homework

For our homework in our Computer science class, we were tasked to research by asking expert advice on database forums. We were first asked to download Census data to be analyzed using Microsoft Access. The data contained facts about 1% all people living in large US Cities at the time on the last US Census in the year 2000. The file gave the name of the city and the racial/ethnic ancestry of the person concerned.
I was able to achieve the objectives of the first task by illustrating the ff terms: fields, records, key fields, primary keys, foreign keys, relationship, and SQL.
To finish the task, we need to create a sorted list showing the number of Filipinos living in each city (with the cities with the largest number of Filipinos at the top).
I am not sure how to do this exactly. I need your advice on how to adapt the fragment of code below to show:
a) Two columns - the Filipino Population and the Total Population
b) The Filipino Population as a percentage of the total population

I am taking this introduction to java class and we were given 3 homework assignments and I am really stuck on 2 of them.
One of the assignments asks to make a index.html page that will connect to a mysql database for coffee/suppliers.
The first part says:
Create the index.html to create the following web page. After a user selects
Espresso and 5 pounds, and clicks �Submit Order� button, he/she is going to see the

(which I sort of completed physically with dreamweaver. im not sure if i need to embed some java into that page.)
The second part which I am really stuck on says:

well, first create a jsp page that defines how the page will look. Then make use of a <jsp:useBean..> in combination with <jsp:getProperty....>
and <jsp:setProperty....> to access a bean that does the database fetching.
