Hover msg box
Hi all I am looking at turning an excel spreadsheet into a
webpage but am stuck at how to create a message box to pop up when
hovering over a specific cell of a table. Is there a way to do this
with DW. Thanks

Need help with 'hover' text box

Why the 'hover' text box don't appear in this page? Welcome to TummyTime, 3D 4D Ultrasound, Modesto, Salida, Ceres, Turlock area.
The 'hover' text should appear as you go over the pictures at the bottom of the page under RECENT ANGELS section.
As you see in this page (Under "Our Projects") :HOME - Arctic Template
the 'hover' text box appear as you go 'over' the picture, but in 'my' page it doesn't.
Now, when I 'preview' in my computer, I can see the 'over text box' appear but when I upload it, it just doesn't.
Can you please check it out and help me with this problem please?

i put textfield in matrix on a frame know i want that when i press enter then a msg box is displayed if any text field is empty or wrong entry for example i just want to enter integer in text field i tried the following one but if i press enter without putting any entry or wrong entry it generate exceptions

Are you trying to convert via Adobe Reader? If so, are you able to close and restart Reader (you may need to force quit, or use Task Manager to quit Reader if it's truly frozen)? After restarting, choose Help > Check for Updates to make sure that you have the most current version.
And, if updating Reader doesn't help (or you already have the most current version), please try converting that same file using the ExportPDF web interface at https://cloud.acrobat.com.

I upgraded to version 7.3.1, msg box said i had authorized a new machine
After I finished upgrading to version 7.3.1, a message box appeared saying that I had authorized a new machine.
"Machine Authorization was Successful. You have authorized a total number of 4 machines out of your available 5."
Wait, why did upgrading my iTunes application on my same computer cause me to use up a machine authorization?
The previous number was 3 and now I've authorized a 4th machine simply for upgrading on the SAME computer? That's not fair.
Has anyone experienced this problem? What should I do about it. Apparently upgrading is a VERY bad idea because it will use up your machine authorizations for no reason!If you've ended up with multiple authorisations on that PC, the following document may be of some help with getting the count correct on it again:

After updating to Gnome 2.24, the dialog boxes that appear when hovering the mouse cursor over items on the gnome desktop are now just big black boxes. Any ideas on how to fix this one?

First of all, thanks a lot for response. But I still need further clarification in regarding to displaying error message in a popup message box:
1) The form has a user name input box and a password input box
2) In the action class, which returns an error:

Are you able to populate NO ? If yes i don't see why u can't populate No Amount.
If you are not able to populate No.. just pass the same based on the condition to the (string) field that column is referring to ..
Or are u not able to align the columns ? If yes, you will have to do some hit and trial with write statement ..or better why not use grid display ..
Please provide more details ..

rid of them all. This was a problem in my project, and i realize it must still be running somewhere even though it is not still on the PC. how do I stop this?

Try using Resource Monitor or Task Manager to find the process running and make it exit.
You don't explain what the message box is for or what it says.
And by working on I suppose you mean working on a project in and running it from Visual Studio?
Did the project use threading of some style in which a thread is still running from the project?
Is Visual Studio running?
You don't really provide much information in order to assist you.

Hover help box won't disappear
While using Dreaweaver CS6 small help boxes appear everywhere I move the cursor over the application window. See attached. How is this turned off? Can't see anything obvious in the view menu.

There have been a few known issues for tag selector (hinting) appearing and not going away for few users. But, what you see is a tooltip. I haven't come across this earlier.
How long do you leave your cursor for in that area for the tooltip to appear? Or is it appearing instantly?

I am currently experimenting with a process after page load that is supposed to call the message box when cnumber is <> 0. It's basically the same as my page item P2008_MX_MODE.
Nevertheless, my procedure is not working yet. Don't know how to call the jQuery function if my condition is true!

My iPod Touch 2nd Generation is Disabled. The mesage on my home screen says "iPod is disabled, connect to iTunes." But recently I have sold my old laptop that had all my iPod backup on it, and I have purchased a new laptop. I have iTunes downloaded onto my new laptop, and I have Authorized it with my Acount ID and Password. But, here's my problem, I have never Connected my iPod to my new laptop, and done a Sync. And when I connect my iPod to My computer with my iTunes up on my screen, My laptop trys to Sync into my iPod and a msg box appears on my screen saying that I need to Unlock my iPod before I can Sync. But I cant because of it being Disabled. CAN ANYBODY HELP ME?

Need help/advice/info on displaying progress msg in multithreaded MIDP
So I have this kind of MIDlet:
1. Using multi-threading feature to access remote web service/JAX-WS. The threads retrieve strings from GlassFish, connected to a MS SQL Server 2008 database.
2. The retrieved strings are to be stored within the MIDlet's RMS. Done perfectly until this phase.
3. The buggy thing is, WHILE the retrieving threads are alive/running and storing strings to RMS, I want to display some progress messages/bars to a Form by StringItem/TextField.
So I thought- it may be caused by the thread deadlocks, but it's not. WITHOUT the RMS storing strings, it flows OK.
(Because the progress msg alteration to the Form is done (I think) by my created threads, thus no deadlock occured.)
But WITH the RMS operating, it freezes on the "Confirmation/Yes-No" Form right before I press the Yes button.
Only when the whole threads are finished/terminated, it's then jumped to "Process Completed" Form.
(I get the feeling it jumped to each progress msg by miliseconds RIGHT AFTER all threads are finished, then to "Process Completed"
which is something I don't want to happen)
So I'm wondering how to get around this prob? Whose thread is it that operating the RMS?

statements. My idea was to display a message box just
before the process starts saying something like "in
progress... please wait". Anyway i created a message
box using jdialog but the problem now is, it just
displays and empty box, the message is displayed only
when the process has finished running which is
useless. if i use the msg box elsewhere, it runs just
fine, only when it is placed before a block of long
running code (e.g a very big loop) it just does not
display the text.
Can anyone please advise me on this issue, thanks!If you don't want to get into threads and things like that, try the following?
1. Add some delay between the message box request and start of the query.
Like

2 Add the method repaint(); after the message request.
3 Add the method repaint(); and delay after the message request but before the query request.

What's interesting to me is that an empty box is drawn. So my guess is if enough time (a second say) is given, the message box will be drawn completely. (Of course, I'm not sure.) -
Oracle 11g client for Windows 8 - 64bit exists impromptu without error msg
HI all.
I just got a new laptop and its running Windows 8 Pro 64 bit os. I downloaded Oracle Client 11g 64bit from the oracle website. After clicking the setup.exe installer a msg box pops up saying '[INS -13003] Environment does not meet the requirement' with no further information. Yet i go ahead and continue becos i was told it was a general error and should be ignored.
After that, the GUI comes up. I select Administrator (or any) installation type, the language, specify my installation location but on performing prerequisite check, it exists without error. Any help?The 12c client install is documented at Contents
- it is a pretty straightforward process once you have downloaded the software. Did you try to install the full client or the Instant Client ?
11.2.0.1 install may or may not complete correctly - if it does, there is no guarantee that it will function as expected
