I want to trigger the external device every constant distance by the 7344's breakpoint.However in the 7344 only single-point breakpoint is supported.And if the re-enable function is execute by the host or on-board program,it will missing the breakpoint when the expected distance is too short or the speed is too high or even the program is not so deterministic.
In my system I must sample the position and velocity data deterministicly,That means the on-board program may not so deterministic as
expected.
I found 7344 can trigger the external device every encoder PHA ,PHB or the index signal via the RTSI,but I don't know if we can trigger every two ,three or move encoder period.And the RTSI can trigger devices except for the NI's?

Here's my Vent of the Day - How about one topic/thread per subject?

I see lots of topics/threads started that are exactly the same as ones already out there, and many of those could be answered if the OP would just search what's already been said, or read generally available information before posting. And then there are so many posts for which even the OP knows don't have an answer. It's just hard to wade through all these repetitive posts to find the ones that need answers or could be informative to all.
_For instance, how about a single thread for some of these_?

I had one thing to give feedback/suggestion to give , but didnt know of any link/place to put it.
So opening a new thread over it.
I see many new threads related to Database Performance, sql tuning, redo/undo ( and many other architecture related things which can impact the performance of the database).
How about a idea of having another forum Database-Performance like we have Database-General now?
Personally I would like to start replying to performance related questions so that apart from helping the OPs i learn more about performance issues which other people see or face outside of my workplace.
What do you guys say?

That said, it may break things even more. Don't take it personally but just take the example of this question. You are here from some time now and even then, you wrongly posted this question in a product forum even when there is already a non-technical, community feedback forum is in place. So may be people won't use a separate forum of Performance and will keep on posting the questions in different forums, just like what happens now too. And with every new forum added, the overhead would also increase (my guess) .
And another thing that comes to mind is that since the forums are already scheduled for a major upgrade in the mid-April , I doubt that such request would be fulfilled , at least right now because last time, when the upgrade of the forums happened, it wasn't a smooth one and the focus of the OTN team would be surely to make sure that the history won't repeat itself.
Just my 2 cents.

Am I crazy for doing this? Well Harvard Business School wrote an excellent article about time management. 1. Make list in the morning. 2. Refocus every hour. 3. Review list at end of day. It's been working great when I'm alerted every hour.
I want to make an event in iCal that goes on indefinitely and alerts me every hour. I have not been able to get this to work. I can make it work for one day but it stops after one day even when I have it set to go from today to a year from now. I also have it set to repeat "Everyday" and end "Never".
There seems to be some sort of bug because I set 24 alarms in sequence (12AM, 1AM, 2AM, 3AM etc...) but the hours have all become mixed up. It's now (3PM, 2PM. 8AM, 11AM...?).

How about this idea with flash catalyst? Can it happen in next version or before the release?

Let me come straight to my interest!
I create a datalist control asset using photoshop. Bring this into Flash catalyst by importing the artworks. Then selecting respesctive artwork and making it as an horizontal list control with custom way for sliding between thumbnails with some description text.
Till now it is 100% possible with flash catalyst beta 1.
Can flash catalyst team further tweak this ui design tool to go ahead and select the data template and add custom interaction where, we can go ahead and give the path in such a way it makes a 180 degree carousel in seconds without any coding. I just need to go into the template and draw/move the positions for 5 thumbnails which sits within the width area of the datatemplate, then all the thumbnails follow the path.
This might be two much, but next wish is to, create states within the data template for loading the thumbnails into list control with custom animations, loading the thumbnail when some search is changed , i mean on layout updated on the datalist.
So in short , my wish is second level tweaking of layout needs to be done within data driven controls.

I am just rephrasing my question for you to understand!
But I don't mean only carousel, I love to see the list control comes in some innovative paths. As you know in flash CS4 adobe has come with motion editor concept for tweening, where you can go ahead and fix some path for the motion of any object on the stage like in aftereffects.
Now how about i take a template from illustrator where i define the data template of a data list control and scroll bar as vector assets. Now in flash catalyst, i come and fix them as data template and scroll bar. Now i double click and go into the datatemplate and then have a editor like in flash, where i can set a path for the motion of the repeated items, then in runtime it follows that path. This is my first idea.
Second one was i have a search box on top of it , then i type some name to search from the above mentioned datalist control, now it refines and updates the exisiting list with relavant repeated items. When this layout updates , each item should animate and sit back on the data list.
It's a small example for my idea! Hope you got my point!
As you said , I am also mentioning the same repeated items(a.k.a. Data Template, a.k.a. Item Renderer)! One more level of animation to avoid coding and easy to create stunning path following list controls. Even it can be used to define other controls too ! I don't mean images, it can be anything!
Can it be possible ?

How about make a section where users can suggest features that they wish implemented on apple products?
For a start, I would like to make a suggestion to itunes. How about give an option to choose which part of the ipod/iphone/ipad to sync? For example sync only the videos, but not the music, applications, etc.
This solves my dilemma for example, because I store my music and video files on an external hard drive. So when I wish to sync my iphone, I have to connect the external hard drive to the PC first. It becomes a problem to me when I brought my external hard drive to some other place, but I want to sync my iphone.
If I can choose which particular part to sync on the iphone, I can sync my videos without losing the other files like music, applications, etc.

How about give an option to choose which part of the ipod/iphone/ipad to sync? For example sync only the videos, but not the music, applications, etc.
You can do this already. Just opt select the items you want to sync.

I know if you use all key to access this hashed table ,it is certainly quick, and my question is when i use partial key of this internal hashed table to loop it, how about its performance.
Another question is in this case(BSID have many many record) , Sorted table and Hashed table , Which is better in performance.

You can't cast b/w data reference which l_tax is and object reference which l_o_tax_code is.
osref is a generic object type and you store a reference to some object in it, right? So the question is: what kind of object you store there? Please note - this must be an object reference , not data reference .

Can any of you please suggest me on how to repeat the column titles on a table if the table extends over several pages:
I tried the below action present in Re: How to make the column title needs to be on each page? It worked fine for the pdf format whereas its not working for rtf format output.
Can anybody help on this?

How to repeat a row when tablix columns print over more than one page

I have a tablix with 20 Columns. When this prints it prints over 3 pages (which is
OK). The first Column is the Name (in this case it is the
Project name). On Page 2 & 3 I want to print the Project name again,
so that a report user does not need to go back to page one to figure out which
project the columns are referring two. In Excel there is an option
"Rows To Repeat". I am trying to do the same in SSRS
2012.

Hi Andrew,
If I understand correctly, there are 20 columns in the table. When it prints over 3 pages, the report should repeat the first column in all pages.
To freeze row header in the table, we can refer to the following steps:
The table should have a group. If the Name is already a row group, we can directly refer to step 2. Or we need add a row group grouped by Name ahead.
Right-click the table to open the Tablix Properties dialog box, then enable “Repeat header rows on each page” and “Keep header visible while scrolling” options under Row Headers category.

How to repeat output billing documents ; because after VF04 maintain billing due list,
all intercompany billing doucments can not be printed throught our local printer. We are using Biling type as intercompany billing and output as print.

Please use T-Code VF31,output from Billing
under Message Data select the output type that you need, enter the transmission medium as print and select processing mode as Repeat processing.
And in billing data mention the correct billing document for which you want repeat output.
Hope Above will resolve your problem for Repeat output for Billing Documents.

To start the ABAP debugger from your java client you have to set the JCO client to debug mode:
e.g.
yourJCOClient.setAbabDebugMode(true)
(hope thats the right method name:-)).
And don't forget to set also a break point of type "External" in the function module you call from your java client. For debuging, the user which calls the FM has to be a SAP User of type "Dialog" and has to be the rights to call RFCs, ...
