However you can't run a batch script as a service in Windows. I think you are looking in the wrong place for a solution.

I am trying OpenSUSE Build Service recently, and encounter some problems in packaging for Arch Linux. How to write the file '_service' to define these kinds of version format in OBS:
First one：
The source file is a Git repo, and the $pkgver is defined as the output of
git describe --always | sed 's|-|.|g'
The example is goldendict-git , refer to https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/go/g … t/PKGBUILD
The current $pkgver is 1.5.0.RC.428.gebad891
I don't know how to write the file '_service' to auto fill the $pkgver so that OBS can update the $pkgver automatically by executing 'osc service rr'.
This is what I'm writing:

Point is, yes it would be nice if you could follow arch vcs pkgbuild guidelines in OBS, but it's just not (yet) feasible if you're planning on using set_version service.
That's why I chose the format you saw in my repo. It's for my personal use and I really don't care as long as it all works for me with minimal effort to maintain it. ;-)

How to change the Window Title on a per build spec basis?

I would like to be able to make 4 "build specificiations" against the same Startup-VI and be able to have the Window Title different in each of the output executables. I know how to change the Window Title for the VI itself, but for some reason, I don't see the ability to override this information in Source File Settings --> Customize VI Properties dialog of the build specification. Is there perhaps a way to do this programattically with VI server? Perhaps there is a way I can define a unique symbol on each of the build specs and then do a case statement in code to determine which title to display based on the symbol that was defined?

You can use the appropriately named Window Title property. In your project you can define conditional disable symbols (right-click on the project node and select Properties) and then use a conditional disable structure in your code. However, these symbols apply to the entire project, not to a specific executable. Thus, a better route would be to use the executable name (also accessible via a property), if possible, or some other distinction between the executables. What makes the executables different?

How to fix "server problem" error message when trying to use PhoneGap build service.

I have a site that is now optimized for mobile devices and want to use the PhoneGap Build service in Dreamweaver CS6 to make a native app. Unfortunately, I keep getting the "We seem to be having server problems." error message when I try to create a new project. I did notice that the configuration file was created at the site root. I've seen a few other similar threads on this, but no solution. I've checked on any firewall issues (none) and know that the PhoneGap server is not down. The problem is on my end.

What do you mean by "native services"? Windows.ApplicationData.Lo alFolder is the way to access the local folder.

Weblogic as Service on Windows 2000

I am running a WLS as a service on a Windows 2000 server and have integrated Hibernate
using EJBs. Hibernate relies on a config file residing in the application root
directory. When run from the command prompt this config file can be found by WLS
in the root domain directory.
When run as a service the file can not be found. Where is the domain root when
run as a service.

According to BEA, you cannot clear the existing classpath. The variables
set by WLCONFIG are stored in the registry but the classpath is not. It is
built on the fly. It takes the variables JAVA_HOME, WEBLOGIC_HOME,
WEBLOGIC_LICENSEDIR, and CLASSPATH Prefix which are configurable through the
use of WLCONFIG to build the classpath.
You can also clear the CLASSPATH Prefix to "" which will clear the first
entry in your classpath.

Hi,
I had this problem after warehouse builder standalone installation. Looks like, it modified Environment variables.
Check Environment variables in control panel. I added these values to system path variable:
C:\OracleBI\server\Bin;C:\OracleBI\web\bin;C:\OracleBI\SQLAnywhere;C:\OracleBI\jdbc;
Though, not sure exactly which one helped, but now i have presentation services stared.
