Hi PJ,
Thanks for your prompt reply.
Yes ..I mean partial billing for some line item.
I understand that I need to define item catg. for billing relevance to K  per your advise but is there any other way to pull some line items to billing without making change item catg ?

  • Difference between shipping invoice and fiscal invoice?

    Helo.
Can anyone tell me the difference between Shipping Invoice and Fiscal Invoice?
    Regards
    Points are assured

    Hi Kulkarni,
    Invoice Processing
    Process
You can use this business process to display and process invoices both in SAP Enterprise Buyer (SAP EBP) and SAP Supplier Self-Services (SAP SUS).
As supplier or service provider, all invoices that you enter or process in SAP Enterprise Buyer must be approved by a responsible internal employee. For goods and services with a low purchase value, invoices and credit memos can also be created without a purchase order reference. Moreover, it is also possible to create express invoices in the check status application.
In SAP Supplier Self-Services (SAP SUS) invoices can be entered with reference to a purchase order, shipping notification, or contact person before they are sent to the customer.
If, following a purchase order, the goods supplied or the service provided turn out to be defective or the price charged is too high, you as an internal employee, supplier, or service provider, can enter and process credit memos or subsequent debits/credits in SAP Enterprise Buyer
i think the invoice generated during a particular fiscal year is fiscal invoice.
    thanks

  • Sale order 'value changes' after invoice creation

    Experts,
A sale order was created / shipped / invoiced. The invoice did not go to accounting because of credit auth error. We have a procedure to fix it and then release it to accounting (transaction VFX3). All OK until this point.
While fixing the auth error, an user changed the freight condition value in the sale order. Then invoice is released to accounting. Now, the value of freight in order and invoice match. How is it possible to change the value of an invoice after its creation?
    Any input would be appreciated.
    UV

when the value is changed in the sale order, it would automatically transfer
the new pricing to the existing open SD invoice pending accounting entry??
Certainly not.  The control is in VTFL where if you select the billing item category for the combination of your delivery type and billing type, you can see a field "Pricing Type".  If you maintain any value other than "B", system will copy the price from sale order to billing and you can, as I said above, can change manually in billing.  On the other hand, if you have maintained "B" in the above field, system will not  consider sale order price but will check your pricing condition maintained in VK11 which you can check in VK12 or VK13.

  • AR invoice with payment can replace AR downpayment invoice

We issue Proforma Invoice (Quote), then issue AR downpayment to collect all payments before we generate legitimate Drop Ship invoice to avoid any non-collect payment.
Not sure "AR invoice with payment" need generate invoice first or in the same time to apply the payment.
Our terms is 1/3, 1/3 and 1/3 (each takes 2-3 weeks) or 1/2, 1/2 (30 and 45 days due) before we ship.  If this is the case, then we can not use this feature.

I found out the missing GL account that is under Admin> Setup> Financials> GL acct Determination
Now, I need GL account in tab Sales - "Payment Advances".  I think this is should be the Liability account instead AR account if I have to choose an account but what will be the offset account?  Why I need GL account for AR Down Payment Invoice since no transaction really will be generated?  Just to calculate how much will be expected from customer on the first installment and balance due.
When I receive the incoming payment will Dr. Checking or Saving and Cr. AR.

  • Invoice getting sorted automatically in MIRO

    Hi ,
Can some one please hep in resolving the issue:
While posting the freight invoice in MIRO, orders are entered in the order of shipping invoice i.e. its not sorted.
When i enter values randomly in 'Multiple selection' one by one and execute, than all the invoices are getting sorted.
How to keep it unsorted? Can some one please help in chnaging the required setting.
    Regards,
    Amitesh

    HI CB,
While posting a invoice by MIRO, if you come across the following message as block for payment than it is because of Three way matching. You can see three way matching status in purchase order status tab in transaction code ME23N and in purchase order history in item detail.
Generally invoice is blocked for payment because of two issues:-
u2022 Price difference: - Price in invoice is higher than purchase order (above tolerance limit).
u2022 Quantity difference: - Quantity in MIRO is higher than MIGO (or good receipt).
Once invoice is blocked for payment you need to release it for payment via transaction code MRBR. For next time while posting an invoice through MIRO you should post invoice within tolerance limit.
You can display and change tolerance limit for invoice verification in customizing with help of transaction code OMR6.

  • PDF with multiple invoices I need collated copies printed

First off, I would like to say I am an IT professional so the obvious things I have already tried.  Here is the situation:
I have a business application that outputs shipping invoices and packing slips into a PDF.  That single PDF has many slips and some are multiple pages long.  I need to print 3 copies of each slip as part of the business SOP.  Right now I have to manually collate each one and it takes hours.  The printer does support collating, BUT it treats it as a single document.  Not a document that has multiple documents inside of it.  So if I put on collate, they are printed in order, but then I have to seperate each set of copies.  That process actually takes longer than printing them not collated.
The only way I can think of it would be somehow tagging the seperate pages automatically so the print driver knows it is a seperate document within the single file.  They all have page x of y on each page.  But open to other ideas.
Is there some way to print this how I need it?  It isn't a simple solution but this would eliminate 2-4 hours of manual collating each day.  Any ideas?  Right now it is using adobe reader, but if they have more advanced option in the pro version I am sure the company would gladly invest in it.
Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Open the document in Acrobat Reader and use the menu Window > New Window.

  • Change amount in the partial invoiced sales Order

    Hi experts,
I have a query in Sales.  Say I created an Order with Part A for 100 qtys selling price for ea as USD10.  Out of which 50pcs are already shipped & invoiced.
But for the remaining 50 pcs the price in the Sales Order needs to be changed to USD20.
Becos it is invoiced I could change the amount in the Sales Order.
How can user modify for Partial qty?  Pls share.
    Regards,
    P

    Dear Anne
Since partial delivery has already been made, you cannot change the price in the sale order for that particular line item.  <i>Even if you create a new line item, it wont update</i>.
For that first go to VK11, change the price and save.  Now come to VA02, block the new line item by clicking on left tab of the new line item, select "<i>goto</i>" on top - item - Sales A.
Here you will see a field "<i>Pricing Date</i>".  Change that manually to current date and press enter.  Now only, your pricing condition will be updated in the sale order.
However, if you dont want to do this exercise and you are making delivery related billing, through copy control VTFL, this can be controlled.
In <b>VTFL</b>, select your billing type and delivery type, click "<i>Item</i>" tab on your left, select the item category, click blue lens on top.  You can see a field "<i>Pricing type</i>".  Maintain "<b>B</b>" here, so that irrespective of order rate, your invioce will be updated from VK11.
    Thanks

  • Billing Vs Invoice

    Hi Friends,
what's the differences between Invoice and Billing ?
    thanks
    vijaya

    Hi,
    In a generic way,
An invoice is essentially a detailed bill left by vendors and outside suppliers for goods or services rendered to a company. A typical invoice might list the quantity of each item, prices, billable hours, service description and a contact address for payment. While some expenses may be paid out of a general fund or petty cash account, an invoice is usually paid through an accounts payable department by the posted due date.
An invoice is a legal document which can be used as evidence of an incurred debt. The recipient of the goods or services can challenge the legitimacy of individual charges, but the invoice itself is considered a bona fide debt. Sometimes a vendor or serviceman cannot collect on a bill immediately, so their company will send an invoice at a later date for payment. The actual daily expense of a service may be so low that a company will simply wait for a larger invoice to cover all of the costs at once. Vending machine attendants and bottled water providers may only send one invoice a month instead of billing the company a few dollars a day for supplies.
Not all invoices are bills of sale, however. A manufacturer may send out a 'shipping invoice', which details all of the parts and accessories included in a particular order. This shipping invoice should be compared to the actual parts received by the store or customer. Car dealers also receive an invoice from the factory which details the actual price of the basic vehicle and any optional equipment installed. The dealer may offer a discount to the customer which seems to fall below the invoice price.
The use of an invoice as evidence of a legitimate debt can sometimes be abused. Unscrupulous companies may generate false invoices to account for missing funds or to inflate sales numbers to stockholders. An invoice is only enforceable and legal if corroborative evidence (inventory, duplicate bills, etc.) proves the goods actually exist or the service was actually performed. Companies and individuals do have the right to challenge suspicious invoices in a court of law.
Some companies who use invoices frequently will design their own forms, but generic invoice forms can be ordered at office supply stores. There are also computer programs available which can generate specialized invoice forms through the use of templates. A professional invoice should contain detailed information on the goods or services, clear and accurate prices and current contact information for any billing questions a client may have.
    Billing:
The act of preparing an invoice.
A fixed monthly charge to recover costs related to maintaining customer accounts including producing and mailing customer bills and processing customer payments.
    Check in tables:
BSIK, BSID, BSIS, BSAK, BSAD, BSAS.
these are tables used frequently in FI module.
    Check out.
    Regards,
    Satish

  • How do we do sales in MX while still working under US Set of books?

    Hi,
We are on 11.5.10.2. We have following requirement and need your inputs. Unfortunately it involves customization and we are open to it. Please suggest.
We have sales happening in US and Mexico (MX). Current implementation has just 1 Set of Books defined and it is US-SOB. There are 2 Legal entities viz. US-LE & MX-LE. US caters to large number of customers and there are various channels for receiving those orders into our ERP. MX has very few customers and MX orders are created manually using US responsibilities. Picking/Shipping/invoicing documentation etc is generated in 3rd party systems and goods are shipped from MX. Mexico then charges the US entity as Internal customer and Intercompany AR is raised by MX to recover the manufacturing cost. This AR invoice is manually posted to MX-LE.
Business has now decided to up the sales in MX and cannot rely on the manual order creation, documentation process. They are quite familiar with the Sales cycle followed for US orders and want to create similar process for MX without creating a new SOB & Operating Unit! They want to use the US OM responsibilities to create MX orders manually. There are lot of 3rd party systems involved and environment is heavily customized. So, creation of new SOB would impact those systems and it will be a big project to roll out new SOB in Oracle and in those systems. So this option is ruled out.
There is a criteria to identify MX orders (based on ship-to, bill-to). We are now looking for a custom solution which will help us process the MX orders, create the AR invoice and then strip the MX sales data from the US-SOB at the end of month. Can we define new order type(s) for MX orders and associate an AR transaction type to the new order type(s) that has MX Revenue & COGS a/c on it? We want to capture the sales happening in MX separately and generate our own AR invoices. The 1st segment of the accounting structure is Company which identifies whether it's US or MX.
Any suggestion in this regard will be helpful for us to start with.
    Thanks!

the most transparent way would be to set up an ipsec vpn allowing secure access to your ny system, in effect you would be giving her direct accesss to your lan
doing this properly requires some work
at your ny site i'd use a router to support inbound vpn connection as well as your general internet access and firewalling (if your existing router cannot do this you'll need a new one)
at the remote end, the mac has built-in vpn support, so as long as a compatible vpn router is used then it is straightforward
an additional benefit of this approach is that you would all be able to use the same vpn to get remote access to your ny network when travelling/at home etc.
    a device like this... http://www.netgear.com/Products/VPNandSSL/WiredVPNFirewallRouters/FVS318.aspx
...might be suitable, but if you are not comfortable doing it in-house i strongly recommend discussing requirements in detail with a competent systems integrator, getting things wrong could compromise your security
as a short term solution to the file type changing on upload/download, if you use zip (or stuffit) to create a .zip (or .sit) archive of the files, then upload the archive, when you download and unzip i think the file type will be preserved

when you receive/ process an XML....this XML has a namespace associated to it.....which in your case should be http://aaa.bbb.com/SVRFIS/Forwarder_File.....
However looking at your Payload ther is no namespace in it....so what you do is...open the Interface/Message mapping--- go to the Test tab and click on the SRC tab and then check what/ how the namespace should be or rather how the XML should be while testing...it would be something like:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <ns0:MT_Name xmlns:ns0="http://aaa.bbb.com/SVRFIS/Forwarder_File">

  • Rebates agreements (extremely urgent)

    Dear SAP experts,
I need your help in rebate agreements (RA).
I have setup the condition tables for RAs to accept Sales Area, ship-to, and EAN (MARA-EAN11) as combination. Together with material determination table, it does a mapping/substitution whenever I create a sales order which works like a charm to map to the access sequences and conditions I have created.
However, there is an issue with this setup. Each EAN can actually map to multiple MARA-MATNR (material numbers) depending on the MATNR lifecycle (i.e. 1 EAN to M MATNR).
For instance, EAN 123456 can have material abc assigned to it today, but due to a product being pulled out of market, business reuses that EAN 123456 and assigns it to another MATNR later on. To ensure that the right EAN-MATNR combination happens at a time, the material determination table (MDT) was used as an approach.
However, when I create RAs with condition type Sales Area, ship-to, and EAN (MARA-EAN11)  combination, the "material for settlements" field is required as input. As the "material for settlements" field is KONP-BOMAT with check table MARA, it is not possible for me to put in EAN for the material as it requires a MARA-MATNR field.
One of the options I was thinking was to do a conversion using MDT prior to creation of RA. Note however that when the MDT data changes, there will be inconsistencies with what's happening in real life versus what was mapped: the RA's take the conversion from EAN -> MATNR based on the contents of the MDT at the point of RA creation, and do not get updated automatically even when other MATNR get assigned to the same EAN.
    My questions as follows:
    1. What is really the materials for settlement field? How does this field impact the creation of credit memos? How does this impact the settlements process?
    2. I would need to create an output report based on the rebates generated on EAN level. My understanding is that SAP is working on the MATNR level. Is there any way to go about this given the situation described above?
    3. Given that the data in the MDT changes against the FPC, is there any way to ensure that the EAN is the "key field" used for data processing in place of the MATNR field in the RA "material for settlement" field?
    4. Any advice on how EAN will impact RA creation, order, delivery, shipping, invoicing?
Thanks a lot for your help in advance.

    hi
Rebates Processs in SAP is divided into three components
    1) Configuring Rebates
    2) Setting Up Rebates
    3) Managing rebate agreeeements and payments
    Pre-requsiistes- Check the following:
1.The payer partner needs toi have the rebate field checked in the customer master on the sales area-billing doc tab.
2.The Billing type must be marked as relevant for rebates.
3.The Sales Organisation must be marked as relevant for rebates.
    Condition Technique :
Rebates, use the condition technique, but distinguish themselves from pricing in applying to transactions over time, versus on a transaction basis. Rebates have their wn field catalog and their own condition table naming convention. So you could have two condition table "001" one for pricing and one for rebates, which could have different key fields. You need to use the technical names A001 For pricing and KOTe001 for rebates when you use the query type using transaction SE 16..
Use create access sequence (AS).  Enter 1 in field category for rebate specific.  AS after going thru the right path of maintaining access sequence for rebates.
The big difference between the rebate and the pricing access sequence is that there is no exclsuion flag available for rebate related AS. This means multiple tables for an access sequence can be aplied at the same time.
Rebate related condition types are identified by codnition class -C.
After defining and creating condition types for rebated include them in the pricing proceedure. The requirement should be 24 here which implies that the accruals are calculated on the basis of invoice/bill.
The other fields- alctyp and altcbv does not allow you to manipulate how a rebate is calculated. Also, remove the requiremnt 24, if u want to see reabtes at order time.
    Now payment of rebates:
Payments can be maunal or in full settlement. When you do manual payments, it defines how much can be paid out during a partial settlemetn.  You use partial settlement only when rebate agreement is defined for a full year but the paoyouts are supposed to happen on a monthly, quarterly or anyother specified period.
These accurals are based on sales volume and when they are posted billing is created int eh follwoing manner. Provision for accruals is debited and Sales revenue is credited. When rebate credit memo is created
       Customer account/ is debited and
       Accrual provision account is credited.
Also, please note that when rebates are created without dependent ona material but on customer/material you need to refer to a material for settlement.
    Rewards point it helps

  • Album view in order of date added. Is it possible?

album view in order of date added. Is it possible?
In v10 I got used to ordering my music library with the newest additions on top, date added with the album view if it didn't take up more space.
Now it's just the songs and I really don't like this. Album view is interesting but usless in alphebetical order which seems to be the default.
I was told by another person here to use a smart playlist but the method they suggested was not clear.
Can someone please explain how to do this or if there is a better alternative for someone who liked the old song view>date added>with album art?
    -thanks

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. By "nr" are you referring to the shipping invoice that comes with the book? If so the answer is no. To order a book the library containing the book needs to be used.
If someone had a copy of the library that created the book initially they could order a book on their own Apple account without you knowing about it. *+BUT they would have to have a copy of the iPhoto LIbrary to do so.+*
So unless you think someone had access to your computer which housed the library a second copy of the book could not have been ordered.
