(Let's try this again. The hosts seem to be on a post deleting frenzy for some reason)
1 - You can remove your CC info from your iTunes account. Select the store in iTunes. Click on your email at the top right and log into your account. Under the CC info, you can select None and it will remove all your CC details.
2 - Download one of the free songs from iTunes and see if it plays okay. Go to the main iTunes store and look towards the bottom. One of the boxes is labeled Free and you can get a few songs and videos as a free download.
3 - Go to Start - Control panel - Sounds and audio devices. Select Volume - Speaker settings - Advanced...
Select the Performance tab and set Hardware acceleration to Full.
If the original song is still bad, you can request them to look at the song.

I won Lightroom 1.0 as a door prize a few years ago at an Adobe clinic in Fremont. I have since misplaced the original disk and cannot get the program to open. It wants a serial number and I don't have one. How can I get the serial number so I can use the software?
Thanks for replying, Jim. I wasn't planning to use it for raw images. I shoot film, black and white, and have many negatives I want to print. I am unfamiliar with the upgrades in Lightroom. I wasn't unhappy with the version I have. It was useful for my purposes.
Because it was a few years ago, I don't remember if I registered the product. I was able to login to my account. But could not find a path to communicate with Adobe. I will keep trying.

I have "ghost" events on my printed calendars repeating daily after the original event. How can I delete these as they only appear on the printed calendars and not on the on screen version?

You can't with the built-in Photos app, but there are apps such as iPhoto which allow you to see the exposure details (aperture, shutter speed, focal length, ISO). PhotoMeta also shows you that info

I am trying to download the trial version and I get to the Adobe Assistant Download complete, but then NO file allows for download. I have turned off all blocks, looked in Explorer, I have spent about 3 hours doing this... HELP
I personally try to avoid that "download assistant" whenever possible...
