How can I change my I Phone's name so that I can integrate with I Cloud? I initially gave my IPhone my Apple Id as name and when I upgraded to Lion and joined I Cloud I could not sync my MAIL because my .ME account was not the same as my Apple Id. Now I have I Cloud but can not sync my mail. My Apple Id is my work e-mail and very important to me. My I Phone was working great, not without some glitches, but great.

Go on to settings> Messages > send and receive
this should give you the opportunity to edit email adressed

i have a lecture for class that is a .wmv file. when i play the file, i get the audio but no video. i've tried using flip4mac but not luck.
so now i have a new question as a possible solution to this problem - is there a way to just take the audio from the file so that i can listen to it on itunes/ipod?

How do I change a calendar from read-only so that I can add/edit an event?

From what I can figure out, iCal thinks that I have published my calendar. However, when I click on "Calendar", "Publish" is the only option. I have been able to add/edit in the past. I am not sure what I did to change it so that I am unable to add/edit.

2. A published calendar will have a "Broadcast" symbol to the right side of the calendar name. Is that symbol present in your Calendars Pane of the iCal window?
3. How many calendars do you have?

I can't change my biling information to none so that I can use my itunes gift card!

I have a $15 gift card for itunes but it will not allow me to buy any because it says that I have no funds on my credit card. I'm not trying to use my credit card. I have an itunes gift card. When I try to put none for method of payment and I can't either.

If None is not available - On your computer launch iTunes and click "iTunes Store" in the left navigation pane. I know it sounds weird, and that is the reason I posted my question. Because my case is not like all the ones I've found online and it's confusing. I added a screen capture of my itunes with my old iphone (the one that houses my playlists) connected to it.
My playlists "ARE" in my iphone 4s. They are still there even though they do not show up when I plug in to itunes in my computer.
When connecting my phone to itunes on my macbook, the playlists do not appear anywhere in itunes. I have found my connected iphone icon, I have clicked on the arrow next to it and it does pull up the standard lists that come with the iphone/itunes: Music, Movies, TV shows, books. That's it! below that is "Genius" and below "Geniuns" is "PLAYLISTS" but the only playlist of mine that shows there is one that I created several years back titled "90's music" and that one I created it on my computer, not my phone. Under "90's music" there are also other standard playlists that itunes automatically adds.
Does anyone else have this issue or know how to get around this. I am starting to think that I am going to have to recreate these lists on my computer

I've searched and can't find this exact problem in any other thread. How do I change the iMessage phone nubmer on my iPad. It is NOT the same as my iTunes phone number.
My wife and I share an AppleID. When I updated my iPad to iOS6 her phone number became my iMessage phone number. Now, I get all her iMessages between her and her contacts and not my own. The email is still my iTunes account email.

If you go to General>Messages>ReceiveAt and then add an additional Apple ID, if you dont have an other Apple ID, you will have to create a new one. Also, if you dont want to receive your current messages, you can remove the number/Apple ID, but only if you have 2 or more Receiving accounts. (including your current) If you dont want to use iMessage at all, just simply switch iMessage from "On" to "Off"

Use a different Apple ID for iMessage (and FaceTime). You can continue to share the same ID for iTunes purchasing but you should have separate IDs for each person for iMessage and FaceTime. To change the ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a separate ID. Then do the same thing in Settings>FaceTime.

I think there may be more to this question than you say.
If your PDF page is say, 8 x 12 inches, and you found a way to scale it to 25%, changing it to 2 x 3 inch, shrinking everything on the page to quarter size - wouldn't it look exactly the same on the iPhone? It's just going to be the same as zooming.
Or were you hoping for something more like in Word, where changing the page size keeps everything the same size and spreads it over more pages? That isn't something you can do.
