how can i eject a dvd that seems to be in a reading loop

A few options: restart holding down the mouse button; launch Disk Utility in Utilities folder, select the DVD on the left and click on the eject button.

    To create a OneStep DVD:
Connect your DV camcorder to your computer and set the camera to VTR, VCR, or Play mode. Turn on your camcorder if it doesn't turn on automatically.
Open iDVD and click the OneStep DVD button. (If iDVD opens to a recent project, choose File > OneStep DVD.)
    Insert a recordable DVD disc.
iDVD rewinds the tape in the video camera and captures the video.
    ------------or-------------
To burn a OneStep DVD from a folder:
Choose File > "OneStep DVD from Movie."
Locate the movie you want to add in the dialog that opens, then click Import.
Insert a blank DVD disc into the optical drive.
This kind of disc is sometimes called "kiosk mode" and is a good way to create demos or other presentations that play automatically and require no user interaction.

How do I eject a DVD that just keeps turning in drive but will not eject?

    check out Kappy's user tip:
Five ways to eject a stuck CD or DVD from the optical drive
Ejecting the stuck disc can usually be done in one of the following ways:
    1. Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the left mouse button until the disc ejects.
    2. Press the Eject button on your keyboard.
    3. Click on the Eject button in the menubar.
    4. Press COMMAND-E.
    5. If none of the above work try this:
Open the Terminal application in your Utilities folder. At the prompt enter or paste the following: /usr/bin/drutil eject.
If this fails then try this:
Boot the computer into single-user mode. At the prompt enter the same command as used above.
To restart the computer enter "reboot" at the prompt without quotes.

Hold down the mouse button while restarting. This should eject any disc in the drive.

If it is trying to eject and won't it may be that the slot opening

  • How can I rip a dvd that has not been finalized.

I need to recovery the video for work.  I can clearly see the content has been burned into the dvd, but since its not finalized, I cannot access any of it.  What can I do?  What software do I need?  I saw most forums suggest ISO-buster for PC users.  Is there an option for Mac users?

  • How can I repair jpeg files that seem to be damaged in my iPad?

Hello everyone. I have an iPad 1 where I put some pictures using a PC and that were not sync by iTunes. Hope that makes sense, I did't use the iTunes rather just drop the folder with the pics in the iPad using a PC (like pretty much an external drive), I was able to see the pictures in my iPad without problems, even as I created the albums. Then my laptop was stolen and I lost all the original files. I want to recover those pictures but when I connect the iPad to my iMac it doesn't recognize the files by iTunes or iPhoto (only the ones that are in the camera roll, those saved from emails on the iPad)
I downloaded two different programs to try to import the pictures to my iMac and I can see the files but then I realized that those files are empty. The thumbnails show the images kindy of blurry but when I copy the files and try to open them it says is empty. In the iPad the pictures now appeared to be also blurry, this did not happened before, I saw the pictures last week and were perfect, I'm assuming that in the process of trying to find a program to extract the pictures the files were damaged somehow.
Please tell me there's a way I can repair those files! I have around 3000 pictures that otherwise are lost forever.
    Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your reply. The pictures are blurry on the iPad too, if I try to email them from there the email shows the attached file as a question mark (?). I already try to take out the files with a PC without iTunes and I can't see the files there either. I only found the files with those two programs but the also appeared as empty files.
The question is if I can repair those files. Thanks a million.

  • How can I edit a form that has "Extend Features in Adobe Reader"?

I created a form in Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 and added Extend Features in Adobe Reader. I need to edit the form, but "Save a Copy" isn't removing the "Extend Features...". I get an error message that I can't edit the form & to "save a copy" in order to edit. What can I do?

When I saw the responses, I pulled out an old version and started over. I already deleted the one that wouldn't revert from extended functions and the copy I created to edit it based on removing extended functions with "save a copy". Thanks anyway. I'd love to know why it wouldn't remove extended functions.

  • How can i know the data that labview takes when calls visa read?????????????

    First sorry for my english!
I have a program in wich i read data trough USB(in bulk mode) from a FIFO(from a microprocesor) . I don´t know if when i do a visa read and the program that is running in my microprocessor is waiting for the FIFO full, what data catch the visa read?, because labview don´t wait, always take data when visa read is call!!
    THANKS THANKS......

A read operation just retrieves the bytes that are available on the serial port. Means that these bytes are there because they have already been sent by the connected device. They may be remains from a previous communication.
    Your protocol should ensure that
1/ the serial buffer is empty before your start your communication session.
2/ you read either a specified number of bytes, or all the incoming bytes, using a timeout in case of failure
3/ you leave things clean after communication (empty buffer, close port...).
Try to be e more specific if you need further help.
