How can I join Apple client service by email?!?

Bonjour,
Guillaume (Iphone) [email protected]
Jules (Iphone) [email protected]
Isabelle (Ipad) [email protected]
Marie-Claude (Iphone) [email protected]
Serge (Iphone) [email protected]

• How can I use Apple Caching Service on a Network with Multiple Public IPs?

Hello!
I help manage a network of ~4000 clients for a small liberal arts college in Michigan. I'm looking into the possibility of implimenting Apple Caching Server for our network.
We have one 400mbit pipe out to the internet, and all of our clients are given public-facing IPs to the internet. A caching server would be great, especially on update days. All wireless clients are on the same subnet, which is where I'd like the server to be serving the cached copies.
I have installed Mavericks on a fresh machine, downloaded OS X Server 3.0.3, and attempted to start the caching service. This is what I get.
Unable to start service.
Caching cannot be run on a public network. Consult documentation.
How can I get this up and running?

The way the Caching server works is that the server will be accessing the Internet and when doing so traffic will be coming from it via a particular public IP address. Usually this will not be the address of the server itelf but your router as for most networks NAT is used. In this by far more common scenario the client Macs (and likely iOS devices) will be going through the same router and hence show up via the same public IP address.
If the client request is the same as the address registered via the Caching server then Apple redirect the request via the Caching server.
The setup would look something like this -
Internet
|
Router (with NAT)
|
(LAN) +------Caching Server-----Client devices
With this setup because everything is using the same public IP address Apple can reasonably assume everything is on the same network and trigger a redirection to your Caching server.
If you try a setup like the following with the Caching server having its own public IP it will not work because the Caching server and client devices will have different public IP addresses
Internet
|
Router (no NAT)-------------------+
| |
Firewall (with NAT) Caching Server
| |
| |
(LAN) +-----Client devices-----------+-----------
Your configuration as described is more like the following
Internet
|
Router (no NAT)
|
(LAN) +------Caching Server-----Client devices
With yours not having NAT each device has its own public IP address including the Caching server and Apple cannot redirect traffic as it thinks they are on different networks.

• How can I change Apple ID to another email

My Apple ID is my old email address with Charter. I no longer have Charter service and want to change ID to my AT&T email; it is already a verified alternate email. When I try to edit and make the change it says that the AT&T email is already in use? Any ideas?

I would suggest first of all that you change your apple id to a permanent service, not one that is attached to any contract you're under or job you have. It's best for your apple id to be a google, hotmail, or other free, permanent service that won't be affected by job changes or you moving or anything like that.
If it's saying that your at&t email address is already in use as an apple id, you need to look it up via iForgot to see if it is in fact already an apple id. If it is, you obviously can't use it.

• How can we improve Apple service?

Well meaning Apple staff are being disempowered by the rigid customer architecture and poor customer support systems. How can we help Apple become more customer focused before it losses its long time brand advocates?

• How can I invoke the web service manually in websphere?

Hi
I've developed a webservice application using Rational Application Developer (RAD). I deployed it in a websphere 6.1 application server, using the administration console to import the war file that I had previously exported with RAD.
My webservice application is listed in the "Enterprise Applications" section of websphere's administration console as started.
My question is: how can I invoke the web service manually? Is there some kind of websphere generated webpage that I can use to call it manually?
I tried http://<server:port>/<contextroot> and http://<server:port>/<contextroot>/<servicename> in a webbrowser, but it doesn't work. Is it possible to invoke the web service manually, or do I need to develop a client?
Thanks in advance
Pedro

Hi Bo Wang,
Go to the Portal -> System Administration -> System Configuration
-> Portal Content folder
-> Open Visual Composer folder
There you can see the Webservice Systems you have created through VC.
You can delete the unwanted system here.

Hi how can I contact apple by email cos I can't find it.thanks

I don't think there are any easy ways to contact Apple through email. They usually require you to call them, and to be honest, their service is excellent so that might be your best bet anyway.

• How can I add a client wireless usig Airport Utility 6.0?

In menu airport of firmware 6.0 there is not window "Add a wireless client". I'm using Mac Os lion with Airport Utility6.0, how can I add a client wireless with this firmware)?

If you have a dual band AirPort Extreme, you can add another to "extend" both bands of your network to provide more wireless coverage.
The "best" way to do this is to connect the "remote" access point back to your main AirPort Extreme using an Ethernet connection. This preserves bandwidth on the network better than any other method...and...you can locate the "remote" Extreme exactly in the area where more coverage is needed. Instructions for thhis are here:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4260
You might be able to connect using wireless only, but this is always "Iffy".
In general, the Extreme would need to be located approximately half the distance from your main router to the general area that needs more coverage. But, walls, ceilings and other obstructions usually come into play, requiring some experimentation. Instructions are here:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4259
If you elect to try wireless, you really won't know if things will work until you try. Recommend that you have a "Plan B" if wireless does not work for your purpose.

• How can I join/merge audio in 1 step?

How can I join/merge audio in 1 step? Or... 2 in Logic X.
I want join all the audio in this track(image)

I see only three steps, and one of 'm (3.) should not be necessary unless you've created a take folder or folder track somehow?
In step 2. you are not joining tracks, but regions (on the track).
I do understand why Apple does not "fix" this: nothing's broken, that's why. If the Logic dev team would listen to all these "it's too complicated" complaints, Logic Pro would eventually end up being iTunes with a record button.
Two tips: learn the terminology (knowing the difference between tracks and regions, for starters) and use the search function in the manual. If that still doesn't get you anywhere, ask us.
Have a nice day!
