How can I put my main Application class in a package?

Hello,
I would like to put my main Application class for my air app inside a package. If I create a regular FLX application, this works fine. In that case I just move the application file created into a packade and change the run/debug settings. This does not work for an Air app however, when I try I first get the error:
Adobe AIR application is missing the corresponding MyApp-app.xml
So I move the MyApp-app.xml into the same package, then I get:
Unknown error generating output application.xml files. Check the Eclipse error log for more details.
Is it possible to have the man Application class reside inside a package for air applications?

Hi Mikael,
I ran into the same result as you so I asked around and it sounds like this might not be supported.  However, I'd recommend reposting this question over on the Flash Builder forums to see if anyone has found a workaround.

    It's now FlexGlobals.topLevelApplication. parentApplication may or may not point to the same thing depending on it's context.

    Different applications depend on different libraries so I need a way that will not share library for all applications on the domain but only for some exact applications.
    When I placed common jar to *%domain%/lib* - all works. But that jar is shared between all applications on the domain.
    When I tried to place common jar to *%domain%/lib/applibs* and specified --libraries* attribute on deploying I got exception

    You didn't specify which version of the application server you are using, but the config is similar as long as you know what to look for. Basically, you need to change the classloader delegation. Here's how it is done in 8.2

    Assuming u have coded the servlet already there are certain things u need to do for exceuting the servlet in Tomcat,
    1) Assuming u r putting the servlet inside the directory named 'Mywebapp' under webapps directory, u need to create directory named Web-inf under Mywebapp and classes under Web-inf.
    Copy web.xml file from any of the webapps (like the example webapp) into mywebapp.
    Copy any one of the sample servlet specification in the web.xml and customise for ur servelt.
    then save the web.xml file and start the Tomcat.Am assuming u have included the mywebapp entry in the server.xml file.
    then invoke the servlet like http://machinename:8080/mywebapp/servletname

    Hi, you have to put it in a Windows service.
    To do this you have a program, Srvany.exe that allow to insert a .exe or .bat program in a Windows service.
    For example, i develop a program, TomcatGuardian and i put it in a service because i need to run it in a server without Administrator logged in.

    Hello Joey,
    the dropzone is actually not meant to contain your main movie. If you want to import your iMovie project by drag'n drop, drop it just above the bottom of the preview window. Alternatively choose File > Import > Video from the menu and select your iMovie project.
    If you have 3 dropzones, you should create 3 short (30-45 sec) movies and/or slideshows to place in the dropzones.

    Thanks for contacting National Instruments.
    To answer you question, the best way to do what you are looking to do is to use the instrument I/O Assistant to generate whatever you want the code to do without the non-displayable characters, then once the Instrument I/O Assistant block is on the block diagram, then right click on the Assistant block and select to open the front panel. You will want to choose to convert it to a standard VI, which will allow you to change the code that has been auto generated. In order to add non-displayable characters to this code you follow the knowledgebase link below.

    There are many, many other options. Search on MacUpdate. You can set Photoshop (or any image editor) as an external editor in iPhoto. (Preferences -> General -> Edit Photo: Choose from the Drop Down Menu.) This way, when you double click a pic to edit in iPhoto it will open automatically in Photoshop or your Image Editor, and when you save it it's sent back to iPhoto automatically. This is the only way that edits made in another application will be displayed in iPhoto.

    Hi,
    you should describe a little bit more what you want to do (e.g. navigation buttons or buttons in containers like e.g. in ESS Address). FPM usually has a quite high reusability so button components are often reused. In case there is already a button component that has everything you need you can just use the self-service administrator to add this view to the right perspective in your FPM application. In case you talk about those buttons that are in the Overview screens than those buttons are dynamically generated.
    In case you just want to have your own button then create this button and fire an FPM event from it. You need to add this event to the FPM view configuration in the self-service administrator. Alternatively you can create a button component and reuse it later.

    First of all, which version of Tomcat are you using?
    Deploying a WAR file in Tomcat is very easy. Just put the WAR file in the %TOMCAT_HOME%\webapps directory and start Tomcat. It will automatically find the WAR.
