If you have Leopard installed, you can't download anything to get to Snow Leopard.
In order to do that you must have a Snow Leopard DVD.

Copy and paste works. But drag and drop is also back in version 3.2. It works well here. Just drag and drop onto the canvas.Make sure you've upgraded to version 3.2 as earlier versions of Number 3 did not support drag and drop from Contacts.
Note that the column headers are misaligned if you are dragging contacts that do not contain an image. But the information in the body of the table drags in correctly.

You don't. The only place to obtain apps for any iPhone is the app store. However, most, if not all of those apps won't run/install on an iPhone 3G. iOS 4.2.1 is the end of the line for your phone & most developers no longer support it.

How can I configure Snow ABS after updating firmware to 5.7?

I have a 3 Mac network (G5 w/Tiger,vers A iMac and Wallstreet PB w/ Panther) connected by Snow ABS extreme that's been running perfectly for a couple of years. I updated the firmware on the ABS to 5.7 in efforts to have a configuration my Treo 650 with Enfora WiFi adaptor could join (it's 802.11b only and Enfora suggested updating the firmware and selecting b/g option). After the firmware update, Airport Admin Utility doesn't see the ABS unless I connect it to the G5 running AAU by ethernet (don't know if it's a crossover but I read on the forum it now doesn't matter). Trouble is when I then give my password, try to configure I get "The Airport Admin Utility was unable to read the configuration on the selected base station...an error occured while reading the configuation". I've tried updating the FW again, soft and hard resets, made sure I have the latest AirPort (4.2.1)and nothing helps. I pulled out my original snow ABS (not extreme) and my DSL and whole network function like before. I like the extreme since I can use my Airport Express to print for everybody and it then completes my coverage much better. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is no reason to be running beta software, I doubt it will even still run as iOS 6 has been officially released. Or were you simply trying to be funny?
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Can't open up phots after reinstalling iphoto older version

Last year my hard drive crashed, and since I had applecare just took it to my apple store and they put in the new hard drive, and updated my OS to Leopard 10.5.8
I had used a program that didn't work as well as I thought for my back ups and had to manually pull everything over onto the new hard drive
Flash forward to today when trying to print off photos for the first time since then. It said that I had no themes installed and that I needed to install them before printing. So searching the forums here I found that I should just reinstall iphoto. So backed up the computer, and re-installed iphoto from the original start up disc which i believe had the Tiger OS. Problem is that it had formatted all my pictures to work with the new version, and now when I try to open iphoto it says that the pictures can't be accessed because of them being formatted using the newer version and that I should quit and use the new version of iphoto... no other options, it forces me to quit out of it. Problem is the nice people at the apple store just updated my software, and I don't have the disc.
I currently have a genius bar appt at the apple store, but would love if there was a way for me to do it without going in there, plus i'm scared that they'll force me to buy the new version of ilife, which is a big purchase for a broke college student. All the software updates on my computer have been installed, but still have the same probelm.
Any way for me to solve it myself?

Try the following;
Creating a new library while preserving the Events from the original library.
1. Move the existing library folder to the desktop.
2. Open the library package like this.

3. Launch iPhoto and, when asked, select the option to create a new library.
4. Drag the Originals folder from the iPhoto Library on the desktop into the open iPhoto window.
This will create a new library with the same Events as the original library if you have the Finder checkbox unchecked in the Events preference pane.

I'm assuming your dvd drive is broken? if you have a thumb drive large enough (8GB or better), you can use another computer to make a bootable image from the install dvd to the thumb drive. then you can install from the the thumb drive.

Apple figures that having supported PowerPC code for the last 6 years is enough so they dropped it.
Why should they have to support some that old forever? It doesn't make good business sense to support some that so few will use.
If you must play those games, my suggestion is to get an older Mac that will support PowerPC. It is going to be a difficult task to get Snow Leopard to run on a new Mac.

You need to partion the hard drive using Disk Utility. On one partition install 10.4. On the other 10.6. As a note I trust you are doing this on a MBP and not a PPC Mac because 10.6 won't install.
