How can I type and fill in forms online ?

I want to fill out an IRS form that is intended to be completed online. However, no matter what I've tried (Adobe Reader, Add-ons etc.), I cannot activate my keyboard and type. Please advise. Thank you.

It sounds as though the form is a PDF. I'm not sure there is a good alternative to Adobe's stand-alone mobile app for PDF forms. There are very few binary plugins for Firefox on Android.

Yes, Thank you for using the term Place. You moved my focus off the clipboard, and Place set me back on course. Somewhere, the terms Copy and Paste need to be tagged to Place and Export. I know, I always do that but I was in a rush to get somewhere and I was relying on my thousand dollar Mac to do some kind of recovery or something. I know Microsoft always keeps temporary files (I think Mac does too, part of me asking here in this forum was for someone to tell me where I can find those files) and when you go to open Office Works then it gives you the option of opening the last recent documents, saved or not saved.
I usually copy paste into my emial just in case something goes wrong with the created document but I just didn't have the time to login and do all that My loss, you live and you learn, BUT still if ANYONE got any info on this, PLEASE DO CHIME IN *keeping the hope alive*

There is no way to save a web form. Our PDF forms do support this (you can open in Adobe Reader, fill, save, return later, fill and submit)

In the initial view, there are four pages, but if I click the "next page" button, there are a total of 12 pages in this document. This is three budget years, each year being 4 pages long.

You're most likely dealing with a dynamic XFA form created in LiveCycle Designer. You can open it, click the button, and save it, and it will most likely be 12 pages when next opened, but it depends on how the form is set up. The ability to make edits to an XFA form in Acrobat is very limited, especially for dynamic forms, so things like flattening aren't possible.
If it's not an XFA form, you'd still need to click the button at least once and save. To say for sure what's possible, I'd need to see the document. Can you post it somewhere?

Or trace over it with the brush tool aand then give it a color ground.

I haven't found a way to do that directly, but there is a workaround. It' s a bit cumbersome, so it's only good for the occasional character.
In MS Word or any other text editor create a file that contains all the international characters you need.
When you need to insert one of these characters into Lr (captions, title, keywords) copy the character from your text document and paste it into Lr where needed.
On Windows Ctrl + C / V works fine.

JTwain supports all kinds of digital cameras and scanners. You can use Java to access, contorl digital cameras and scanners, and of course, to acquire images with flexible settings.
