Have you heard of the HttpServletRequest.getParameter() and HttpServletRequest.getParameterValues() properties? Look them up in the API docs: http://java.sun.com/j2ee/sdk_1.3/techdocs/api/javax/servlet/http/HttpServletRequest.html
You need to use getParameterValues("yourListBoxName") to get a String array with all the selected values. No selection, no values.

This is a bit past the last activity of the thread, but I just had an idea, that requires me to get the port number in the init.
When this particular servlet shuts down, it generates an email. Since there is more than one instance running, I figured, I would put the HOST and PORT in the email.
The problem with saving this information from a request, is say it gets shutdown before any requests are generated.
The email then would have the HOST portion, but the port would be null.
Ideally there would be a way to get the port(s) that the server is listening on.

You can't. Contact your carrier and ask them if they provide such a service. Most carriers do not, unless the text messages are threatening or harassing, but you can ask.

How can i control whether a custom transaction containing delete sql statement is executed using the results of a record set?
The custom transactions dialog does no allow me to use anything more than sql and has no conditions so i cannot control flow their.
Triggers seem not to be able to access record sets defined on the same page and internally seem able to perform select staments but unable to return result sets.
Please help if you can ?
