How could a cin lose object code?

I am currently using the System Exec.vi. For some reason the object code is now gone. Was there ever a problem with cin losing their object code.

Robert,
In order for LabVIEW to be capable of calling compiled functions of C from a running VI, the code must be loaded and unloaded into memory at the same time as the VI code itself. LabVIEW uses object code in the form of a .lsb file which is generated by the C compiler from the C source code using the ntlvsbm.mak file. This ntlvsbm.mak file is included in the CINtools directory in the LabVIEW folder. Do you have this file in this folder?
I've attached this file from my LabVIEW 7 folder.

  • How could I pass object to the other object

    Hi,
    How could I pass an object to the new initializing object, so that I can reference to the first object later?

    You mean something like
    MyClass1 myclass1 = new MyClass1();
    MyClass2 myclass2 = new MyClass2(myclass1); // <-- myclass1 is being passed to the constructor of myclass2

  • Can't load object code to CIN. Mashine specific.

    Suddenly all the VIs using CINs have lost their object
    code. They are broken and any attempt to load the code fails. I have "object code is not loaded" error.
    I've tried with simple test examples but LabVIEW simply refuses to load object code into VI. It isn't getting any bigger in size. This problem is specific only for one of my computers running LabVIEW. My CINs are used for computational purposes, they do not refer to any hardware. How to solve this problem ?

    One way for this to happen is for the VI to be saved on a different platform (Mac / Linux / Windows). If you open a VI on a different platform from the one it was compiled on, its object code is tossed. If that VI is saved in that state, the object code is removed from the file.
    Normal (non-CIN) VIs are recompiled as needed. But CINs need external object files for the platform they're being compiled on.

  • How does a CIN code works in LabVIEW?

    hi..can any one explain as to how a CIN code (written in c/c++) works in LabVIEW.Do we have to import the c/c++ file too when we import the respective VI? How does the CIN code work in an exe file without having to load the C/C++ code?

    When you create the VI that calls the CIN you load the binary object code into the code interface node itself and it's stored as part of the VI. Hence you don't need to include anything special in your build. Mike...

  • How could we assign customized function module to the object

    Hi Experts,
    How could we assign z made function module to the object type.
    for instance, i have prepared one z function module and want to assign segment builder.
    Please help in this regard
    Thanks
    Mahesh Babu

    Hi Thiru,
    Standard Transaction Codes, have their own Function Modules for generating Outbound/Indbound Idocs. Where these Function Modules will be configured to a particular Process Codes.
    For E.g for PO's
    Process code : ME10 - IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDERS - for creation
    In case if its a Z Function Module, It depends on the case how you use IDOC types. either directly through Z Program or through Inbound/Outbound Process  codes with respective Function modules.

  • How could I fix this code

    Hii 2 all
    How could I change this statement for parameters list,, so the client_name can contain spaces ??
    add_parameter(p_id,'p_client_name',TEXT_PARAMETER, '''' || :cntrl.client_name || '''');
    cause it couldn't print and give syntax error when the :cntrl.client_name contains any spaces !!!!
    please help
    thanks:)

    First I must apologize, I asked you to test something that was not needed... for a moment I thought we were talking about web.show_document, that's why I asked you to test with double-quotes..
    Regarding your problem, Manu is right, there is not need to wrap around the parameter in quotes..
    add_parameter(p_id,'p_client_name',TEXT_PARAMETER, :cntrl.client_name);I have to ask you the same question that Manu asked you before, where are you using this parameter?
    In your Report you must be using in a piece of PL/SQL code, we need you to post that code...

  • How could I find table with match codes

    I have to enlarge matchcode for table fields. How could I do that. Where to find it and how
    I would highly appreciate an example
    Thank you in advance

    Hi,
    Matchcode objects replaced by the Search help
    PARAMETERS p ... MATCHCODE OBJECT search_help.
    so you will find this in the SE11, give the name of the object in the search help and press Display you will get that one, if you want to enlarge that one you need to write the search help exits...
    All search help exits must have the same interface as the function module F4IF_SHLP_EXIT_EXAMPLE. However, you can define any number of additional optional parameters, especially exporting parameters. For further information about the interface, refer to the function module documentation.
    Look at the below SAP help examples ..

  • How to get the UserTransaction object in  stateless session bean

    Hi, I am using jboss server and jdk5 version and using EJB.
    My Application flow :
    JSP à Action(Struts) à Service Locator à Session bean à Entity Bean(cmp) à DB.
    I tried to get the UserTransaction object in my Action. Its my code.
    InitialContext ctx = new InitialContext();
    UserTransaction uTrans = (UserTransaction) ctx.lookup("java:comp/UserTransaction");
    After used uTrans.begin(),uTrans.commit() and uTrans. rollback () also.
    Its working fine .
    But, I used the the same code inside in my session bean its not working.
    Stateless Session Manager Bean code :
    public class SampleManagerBean implements SessionBean {
    public void ejbCreate() throws CreateException {  }
    public void ejbRemove() {  }
    public void ejbActivate() {   }
    public void ejbPassivate() {   }
    public void setSessionContext(SessionContext sessionContext) {
    this.sessionContext = sessionContext;
         public void createSample() throws EJBException
         try{
                   InitialContext ctx = new InitialContext();
                   UserTransaction ut = (UserTransaction) ctx.lookup("java:comp/UserTransaction");
              }catch(Exception e) {
              System.out.println(“ Exception === > “+e)
    Its throws the error ie: javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: UserTransaction not bound
    How to get the UserTransaction object in my session bean. Kindly give solution the above errors.
    - Thendral

    first of all, you could just use sessionContext.getUserTransaction(). however, that would only work if your bean is using bean-managed transactions. the default is container-managed transaction, in which case you cannot get a UserTransaction object. if you want to manage transactions, you need to add the TransactionManagementType.BEAN annotation to your ejb.

  • How do i remove an Object (aliens/ bullets) from my Space Invaders game??

    Creating Space Invaders game and im getting confused on removing objects from my game. How do you actually remove an object (i.e bullets and aliens).
    I know this isnt the right way to do it, but for the bullets i had an array of the Objects bullets[] and set the x and y coordinates off screen so u cant see then wen they are painted you cant see them, then wen the player fires them, the x and y coordinates change so they come from the players ship till it hits an alien or goes off screen, then i reset the coordinates so they are pasted off screen again. Im relatively new to this so i would appreciate any help. Im going to have to do the same with aliens wen a collision is detected. Is there a way of actually removing an object?
    Here is sum code incase you need to see it:
    public void checkCollision()
              Rectangle playerRec = new Rectangle(player1.getBoundingBox());
              for(int i=0; i<alienRow; i++)
                   for(int j=0; j<alienCol; j++){
                        if(playerRec.intersects(aliens[i][j].getBoundingBox()))
                             collisionDetected();
                        for(int k=0; k<bulletNum; k++){
                             Rectangle bulletRec = new Rectangle(bullets[k].getBoundingBox());
                             if(bulletRec.intersects(aliens[i][j].getBoundingBox()))
                                  removeBullet(bullets[k]);
                                  collisionDetected();
         public static void collisionDetected()
              System.out.println("COLLISION");
    private void removeBullet(Bullets bullet){
              bullet.fired=false;
              bullet.setX(-10);
              bullet.setY(-10);

    I was thinking bout that arraylist angle before, but it makes sense now so i think that will work ok. Thx kevin.Not a problem.
    Taking the List idea one step further, you could have a parent Object/Interface that all of your game objects extend/implement. Let's call it GameObject.
    A GameObject would have a draw(Graphics g) function that you call from your paintComponent( ) method, and for example an act( ) function as well.
    You'd have a single List of GameObjects that you add everything in your game into. Now painting is simply a matter of looping over a single List. And in your game logic loop, you could do a similar thing with the act( ) function: your bullet's act( ) would simply move it forward and check for collisions and going off screen. An alien's act( ) function would move it around and maybe shoot a weapon every so often.
    Just an idea.

    Use code tags.
    Don't mix GUI and JDBC together. Split them out into separate classes.
    You have a good start, but you will need to loop through your resultset and also pull the ResultSet metaData for you column headings

  • System.Security.VerificationException: Operation could destabilize the runtime during code coverage run in visual studio

    I have a unit test that basically does the following:
    Creates an app domain using minimum priviledges.  The MarshalByRefObject that is living in the app domain, loads another assembly to execute.  This new assembly basically takes in a data object defined in a separate assembly, and returns a
    new data object of that type.
    All this works fine in debug mode, or when running w/out code coverage.  The Sandbox assembly is signed.
    The exception that gets thrown is this:
    Test method TestProject1.UnitTest1.TestMethod1 threw exception:
    System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.Security.VerificationException: Operation could destabilize the runtime.

    I marked the shared data library with the attributes:
    [assembly: AllowPartiallyTrustedCallers]
    [assembly: SecurityRules(SecurityRuleSet.Level2, SkipVerificationInFullTrust = true)]
    And then marked  the data class Bar with the attribute:
    [SecuritySafeCritical]
    And got a little more insight into what's going on:
    Test method TestProject1.UnitTest1.TestMethod1 threw exception:
    System.MethodAccessException: Attempt by security transparent method 'Microsoft.VisualStudio.Coverage.Init_d2f466df4c65e2a7bb5d7592c49efef0.Register()' to call native code through method 'Microsoft.VisualStudio.Coverage.Init_d2f466df4c65e2a7bb5d7592c49efef0.VSCoverRegisterAssembly(UInt32[],
    System.String)' failed.  Methods must be security critical or security safe-critical to call native code.

    Since the injected code coverage il is doing some native stuff, it's throwing.  Any ideas on how to allow this?
