How could I avoid/disable the user to execute the command /BDEL?

I've tried to map it by SU53 but all users have this option and when the users run SM35 they delete some necessary postings.
How can I control it? By profile or by system configuration?

I think it is acceptable for (key) users to monitor their BI sessions and even correct them.
If they can process them online then they might as well have not posted the entry manually as well as in both cases the control is still with the user.
Are there any commands which they do need?
An alternative is to hand the control over to background processing and give them access to check the error logs?

Agreed. Cannot stop it by disabling the "Windows" key (from within Windows 7). Every time I Cmd-Tab to change apps, the Start Menu pops up,
and persists, overlaying other app windows. Much more than annoying.
Also, there is no Clipboard Sharing, apparently. Love typing in long binary strings into the Registry.

Use SE10 t-code and type abaper user name in the user field then check released check box then display and select request number which is released, double click on said request number and click on "object list of request" Then click on "comment: released" than you can find out the released user name at the end of request number along with dated of released.

How can I permanently disable the "fn" key?

Hi. My subject says it all. How can I permanently disable the "fn" key?
At first I thought I had a virus or something because when I typed only weird symbols came out. Then I reset the computer. Then I couldn't even log in. I tried Time Machine etc.
Then I realized that the "fn" key wasn't working right. It seems to be working backwards. It acts like it's being pushed when it's not, and when I do push it it acts like it's not being used.
So it's kind of a simple problem but it's really annoying.
Is there a way I can just disable it permanently? Even physical force if necessary. I tried to break it but it wouldn't break. I don't really use the key anyway so it doesn't really matter. I don't want to pay a bunch of money to replace a key I don't even use.

That's the best answer. Yeah usually if you press "fn" or "option" you can get it to work for awhile.
Yeah I have considered some kind of external keyboard also. It will make a laptop less laptopish. But it could do the job for awhile.
It's sad because I don't even care about the "fn" or "option" keys.
But anyway it's not catastrophic at least.
And yeah maybe we can get a new computer later or something. I like mine though. It's customized and is how I like it right now.

How do you Enable/Disable a user's ScreenSaver and set it's "Start Screen Saver" time.
I am writting an application in java which uses JNI and a screen saver to lock users out of the computer unless they enter the correct username and password.
If they enter the correct password I need to Enable the ScreenSaver at a specific about of time (time can be changed remotely) so I can "log out" the user.
I need to disable the screen saver after the screen saver runs so that it doesn't run while the java login program is running.
I have this working already on Windows XP but can't find any way to program this on Mac OS X.

To hide them, you need to add the CSS into the xlviewer.aspx which stays in:

One thing you might try is going to System Preferences/Sound and changing the output from Internal Speakers to Line Out or Digital Out. Line Out would be for headphones. I assume it keeps this setting after a reboot but you should test it.
Disabling the sound will also disable all warning sounds. Those can be pretty useful.

U must be using the built-in OPEN_FORM in your code. Instead of that, check it using the following code....
IF ID_NULL(FIND_FORM('form_name')) THEN
OPEN_FORM('form_name with the path');

GO_FORM('form_name'); --shifts the control into the form which is already open.

How could I be sure the download of iAS is correct?

I have been trying to install iAS on Windows 2000 server with a fix IP and
appended domain name. The setup run nicely and said complete. However, there
is no files in the directory after installation. Ray, mentioned that it
could be due to the quality of download.
I have a cable modem here which I reckon has a very stable connection to the
internet. How could I know if the testdrive file I download is in good
condition?

Hi,
Unfortunately there is no way as of now to detect if the download is successful. However please ensure correct values on static ip and the DNS suffix and this error is common for test drive version download. The only solution is try to download again when you think the network traffic would be lesser and I'm sure that you will succeed. Good Luck on iAS.

Is it possible to disable the command and arrow key shortcut (  + ↦ will switch from space 1 to space 2 - i want to disable this shortcut )
I have looked in the Spaces system preferences and keyboard shortcuts but I can't find anything to switch it off, after trying to find a solution around the interwebs I have had no luck, if you guys could help me that would be much appreciated!

You can go to system preferences->Expose and Spaces->spaces and look at the drop down box "to switch between spaces". At the bottom of the drop down is a "-" which will deactivate that shortcut.

Can I disable / prevent this warning feature. And can I re-enable java plugin via command line or script? I need to do this on a large scale and various versions of firefox. Right now I will need to abandon firefox if I cannot easily resolve this. Yes I realize updating to latest version of java is a solution... but this will take too much time now and how long before another security fix for java and then I will have to update yet again.

Apparently, the so-called block deployed for the Mac OS X version of Firefox, created to deal with a vulnerability in Oracle's Java, has now crept into the Windows version. Well, whoever wrote the code to block the Java plug-ins specified above screwed up, since it is blocking even the updated Java plug-in.
I have an enterprise with many computers, and we had deployed Firefox as our browsing platform. Based on the latest decisions at Mozilla, new version numbering, forced release cycle, and almost all add-on vendors just walking away from the maintainence nightmare created by this decision, I guess it's time to move over to the Dark Side and adopt Google Chrome.
