How do I add the capture date and time to the bottom corner of a photo?

Not to the bottom, that I'm aware of, but to the top right or left in Grid view or to the top left in Loupe view. It is in the View Options.

Wrote the current Date and Time in the backend

HI everyone,
I created a table view, where I display several records. Right now I will add an record to this table, which should be written back in the backend and automaticaly add the current date and time.
But I don´t know to make this. I tried several time with the funktion "now()", but it doesn´t work. So any help for me, to explain how I can display the actual time and then write it back to the backend?

I´m still of the opinion , that it should be possible
to add the curret time in a field with the
funcionality of the VC, even there is a way to show a
clock with the current time. My problem is that I
can´t figuer out how to do this.
Therefore you can use the TNow() function (Time functions) and the Now() Function (Date functions). You can cast them to a string and concatenate the string, then you have the date of today with the current time. This string you can format and transfer it as input for your BAPI_ADD_BP for example.

How do I enter in a Date and Time into the InputDate tag

Using the default DataEditComponent.jsp page, I have an entity object with a Date in it. However, when you click on the calendar icon and populate the field with the date you can not add a time. How do you add a time to this field.

Change your domain type for your entity object to Timestamp. You also need to edit your control hints to use a format that includes the time portion. Once this is done, you will be able to edit\update\display the time portion.

If your code is running on the client pc you can just create a new instance of the java.util.Date class. That class automatically defaults to the current time of the client machine. Otherwise if you're running the code on the server, you could insert/post the client date/time by adding its string representation as a parameter to the HTTP request object.

i am using xslt version 1 .i want to display the current date and time in the output xml using xslt(Jdeveloper) ..i just added the namespace xmlns:xp20="http://www.oracle.com/XSL/Transform/java/oracle.tip.pc.services.functions.Xpath20"

and used thsi function <xsl:value-of select = "xp20:current-date()"/>
but it does not works for me ..help needed????

Use a formula: =NOW()
Format the cell for Date and Time, with both the Date part and the Time part displayed. Format the two parts as you wish, using the choices in the Inspector's menus.
The cell will update each time the table is recalculated.
(Description is for Numbers '09 (Mac), Numbers for iOS will be similar, but not necessarly identical in details.)

Burning photos onto dvd, loses the original date and time of photo

I'm trying to burn some photos onto dvd, but it marks all the files 'created date' and 'modified date' as today, rather than keeping the original date and time that the picture was taken. Is there a way around this?

Finding the initial date and time of a modified instance of reccurnt evnt

The problem situation is as given below:
I have created an event recurrent using the outlook client. I them modified one
of the instance in it to occur in a data and time different from the existing
date and time.
Using the CAPI i wish to retrieve the initial date and time when the instance
occured. According to documentation i should have the initial date and time in
the Recurrence ID parameter. When i look at the icalendar i see that the
recurrenceid matches the start date of the current instance and not the initial
date and time. I am using the fetchEventByUID in the CAPI API set.
Is this behaviour of changing date and time of the recurrence-id the expected
one or is there any problem in the configuration on my machine.
Counting on some insight into the parameter where the initial date and time of the event are stored.

Hi Joyce,
The sdk always sets the recurrence-id to be the starttime of the instance.
So the behavior you encountered is what one should expect with the sdk.
There were some changes in a 10G to correct this situation for a given service. (i.e. have the initial date and time in the Recurrence ID parameter, for instances of the recurring set).
This fix would not be available for the public sdk version, but given that this feature is important for your application, you could log a tar and it might become available in some 10G patch.

Iam using the correct dict type as you mentioned in the above mail. But in my mail it shows that the container elements ZDATE of type SWFXST_DATE, ZTIME of type SWFXST_TIME as not found. I hope this will be solved.

How to capture file modification date and time over the web

I am creating a web based application and I am using webutil package for al lot of my work being that I ma working with renamin,deleting and uploading files for a users machine to the database. There is one functionality thing that I have to do in this application that webutil does not take care of and that is capturing the modification date and time from a file on the users machine. Please help me capture the date and time of a file on the users machine.

Since webutil allows you to write file on client PC directory, then you first create a directive file, then host that directive file. the directive file content is just the command lines when you manually do it on PC.

How can I display the date and time from the playhead info as a subtitle ?

Is there any way it is possible to display the video capture data and time during playback. I have seen some discussion on creating subtitles to do this, it would be nice if one could simply add a Title template with display fields for playhead information so that it automatically gets created during rendering.
In case you are wondering why on earth anyone would want this, I would like to use this for display on multisport racing videos.

What folder structure?
If you're referring to how Aperture stores the originals in a managed library then the answer is you can't change it.
If having the originals stored in a specific file structure is important to you you will need to switch to a referenced original setup.

Upon receiving your data in your servlet, you can do the following to get the date,
Calendar calendar = Calendar.getInstance();
int dd = calendar.get(Calendar.DAY_OF_MONTH);
int mm = calendar.get(Calendar.MONTH) + 1;
int yyyy = calendar.get(Calendar.YEAR);
String dd_mm_yyyy = dd + "/" + mm + "/" + yyyy;
To get the time, simply take a look at the Calendar API to get the corresponding field.
