How do I balance L&R channels of a track?

Is there a way I can automatically get both stereo channels balanced?  If not, how do I manually make one channel louder/quieter?  There's only the option to alter it during playback but not of actually physically changing it.  Thanks, sincerely.

I can see how what I wrote made it seem like I didn't know how to split. Sorry about that, but thanks for the tips.
Well, with a combination of your answer and me still playing, I figured it out. The problem was I needed to create two nodes where I wanted to begin the volume increase and two nodes as the end. By just putting one node at each location, it was raising the volume of the entire track. With two, it increases just that section.
Thanks!

  • How to load balance two link (resilient link)

How to load balance (if can) or failover two Fiber channel like as below?
    interface GigabitEthernet0/1
    switchport mode trunk
    channel-group 1 mode active
    channel-protocol lacp
    interface GigabitEthernet0/2

    channel-group 1 mode active
    channel-protocol lacp

    Hi
You can use this "port-channel load-balance src-dst-ip", this will do a XOR on source & destination IP addresses and choose the interface G0/1 if the first bit of the result is 0 or the interface G0/2 if the first bit of the result is 1.
But you can check the path used with that command: "sh etherchannel 1 port-channel"
You can load balance with the mac-addresses too (it is the default mode I think)

  • How to get balance sheet report for profit centers

    hi
how to get balance sheet report for profit centers, is there any transcation code to get that report or i need to create a report painter report for this

    Hi,
You can use T. code KE5Z for actual line items.
More to this you can use program RFBILA10 (Use T. code SE38 and program RFBILA10) for complete blance sheet.
The transaction is for special purpose ledger but this program RFBILA10 can be used for profit center balance also.
In selection, you can give ledger name which is generally 8A for profit center ledger.

  • How can I see the alpha channel in the channels palette?

Hello, mi format plugin loads a rgba image. I see it with transparency, that's ok, but when I go to the channels tab I only see 4 items (RGB, Red, Green and Blue).
How can I see the alpha channel of my file in the channel tab?
    Thanks!

OK, something must be wrong... but I don't find it!
That's my whole code (resumed). I ommit some code (saving file code (not used) or main function, where I only call te "DoSomething" functions. You can see that I use layers. The DoReadContinue function is only used to show the preview.
In the DoReadStart function I set the parameters for the layers (and the preview), and I fill the "data" and "layerName" params in the DoReadLayerContinue function. I hope you can understand the code!

And that's the image that I obtain loading a 8 layer image:
The layers have transparency (when I set "transparencyPlane" to  -1, or 0, or 1, or 2, or 3, or 4....., I got the same result!). The blending mode is still "normal". I had set it to "linear dodge" The "isVisible" param works OK.
    Alpha 1 is still black.
Is possible that I need to set something in the .r file? I had to add "FormatLayerSupport { doesSupportFormatLayers }," to manage layers, for instance.

  • How do I add an Ouput Channel in LOGIC X

how do I add an Ouput Channel in LOGIC X?

A CHannel Strip is just a visual representation of an Environment Object. An Environments Object is the representation of an available component to Logic, the building blocks for your virutal studio (256 Audio Channels, 256 Software Instruments, 64 BUsses, etc). THe available components or your Output Channels depend the selected Audio Device in Logic (Preferences, Audio, Devices)
To assign a new Environment Object.
    Goto the ENvironment Window
Click on the Menu New ➤ Channel Strip ➤ Output
Or to reassign an Environment Object, select from the Channels menu in the Instruments Inspector and choose an Output channel.
Once the Environment Object is created, make sure to hav the "Output" FIlter BUtton selected in the Mixer window, to display it.
You can also create a Track for that Output Channel Strip with the "Create Track" command.
    Hope that helps

  • How to copy a selection in channel mode?

I have photoshop cs6, and I was just wondering how to save a selection in channel mode.
So for example (below), If i wanted to only copy the part of this picture that has white and the plant in the picture how would i do this? I've tried colour range but it didn't work so I am very stuck. Please help! Thanks

The problem is that you are still editing the alpha channel, which can be usefull too.
So before attempting to copy or edit, you need to go back to the layers pallete. Here's how it would look step by step:
    - go to channels pallete
    - highlight Alpha 1
    - Click "Load Channel as Selection"
    - once the selection is active (running ants around the vase), highlight the RGB channel
    - go back to your Layers pallete
    - copy/paste the selection as needed (or hit crtl+J) to copy the selection to its own layer
    - duplicate the layer as needed
so basically, before trying to copy, you first need to go back to the layers pallete, after loading the selection
hope this makes sense, please post back if this doesn't work.

  • How to count row in a channel with VB

    Hello every body,
First, I'm quite new in VB script and I hope you will excuse me if the question seems stupid. I have several columns with an undefined number of row (for each file; the number of row will be different). As I want to automate the process, I need to know how many row I have per channel, each time I load data from a file (created by a LV programm)
thanks to those able to help me.
    HerveM

    Hello HerveM,
There are several ways get the the number of rows, here are two:
    L1 = Data.Root.ChannelGroups(1).Channels("Temp_F").Properties("length").Value
    L2 = CL("[1]/Temp_f")
The first one is the object oriented method, the second one used the variable CL (Channel Length) to get the number of rows. They both work, and are up to your preference ...
    Hope this helps,

Tried outputting to an AVI filet but the file did not contain an alpha channel that After Effects 5.5 would recognize.

    Bill,
I hope you ordered 32 GB or more on that new computer After Effects 5.5 takes up as much as it can.
The Roto Brush tool is really a timesaver over ordinary Rotoscoping. Although, my problem now is: when I try to send a 1 min. And 11 second video from Adobe Premier Pro 5.5 two Adobe Media encoder 5.5, the process hangs in wait state in the Media Encoder. I have filed a request for help on the Media Encoder forum.
I know you will put your new computer to use in helping other people and for this I thank you.

My iphone plus is bending, what does Apple offer regarding this issue?
I am trying to get to contact with Apple Customer Care, but not clear to me how to do it beside this channel of communication. I bought the phone from kosovar carrier which is under Slovenian ownership. This means that the original warranty comes from Slovenia, bit complicated but still I would like to get an urgent answer how to proceed with this issue, thanks

Maybe i should have only asked if anyone is aware on apple's policy
regarding bending. I took the point that this seems not a proper forum to

  • How to load balance runbooks?

    Hi,
Now I have successed to deploy an seccond Runbook Server in an test environment. But I have not fully understanding how the runbooks run on the primary vs standby. And I know that by default one Runbook Server can handle 50 runbooks, and how to scal out
    runbooks?
    How to load balance runbooks?
    How to fail over runbooks?
    /SaiTech

you can change how many concurrent runbooks are allowed to run on a single runbook server. 50 is just a default value.
you can assign a runbook to run on a specific runbook server (or more). this is the simplest way to load balance.
runbooks will failover automatically. do note that the runbook will start all over, hence you need to put in safeguards in your runbook. word of adwise is to keep runbooks small and chain them together. This makes them easier to recover.

  • How the Load balancing happens in CPO

    Hi All,
On what bases the process engine selects the process or request and how the load balancing happens.

    Hi!
I am a little confused by the question (as it refers to "request"), but I am going to assume that you are asking how a High Availability Process Orchestrator environment with several servers chooses which processes running on which server.
The answer to that question is...
In general, processes to be executed are split equally between all servers. The only piece of data being taken into account during process instance assignment is the current load on the servers (as counted by the number of top-level processes, not counting child processes). For example, suppose that there are 3 servers in the environment, and server A is running 5 top-level processes, servers B & C are running 3 top-level processes. When new process is started (e.g. on a schedule or manually or triggered via an external event), it will be assigned to either server B or server C for execution, because servers B & C have less load. If under the same circumstances (A:5, B:3, C:3), there are 4 processes started at the same time. When the work is distributed, the total expected work 5+3+3=11 (existing work) and 4 (new work) will be distributed equally with, with servers B&C each getting 2 new processes.
This is a general load balancing algorithms used by the servers in HA environment to decide which server runs which process instance.
There are other factors that come into play, as some processes/activities can only run on server A or server B for technical limitations (e.g. SAP work against a particular SAP System can only be executed from one server in the environment). When those come into play, the work may end up distributed unevenly.
Note that available memory, CPU load, or disk space on servers are not directly taken into account during load distribution.

  • How can I mask a TV channel ID on a quicktime movie file?

    Hi
How can I mask a TV channel ID on a quicktime movie file?
You know, in the top right of the screen it may say BBC3.
I would like to blot this out on my Quikctime movie file.
    Thanks in advance
    Glenn

You would need QuickTime Pro and an image editing application.
In TV terminology the onscreen display is known as a "bug" and the best you can do is make a new video track "layer" that would cover it up.
You could make a small image file (solid color) to cover the bug or a mask track that would allow some of the underlying video show through (if the bug is transparent).
