Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then you should be able to erase your phone if you want. When you're done, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.

My iPhone 4s dropped in water, and I took it for repairs, when I picked it up, the guy said i should avoid Apple updates or App updates, why? His explanation was, if I update it, it will block my phone completely, and no one but Apple can fix it?
You check with Apple before handing it over to someone with a shady repair service that has an "i" in the name.
You have a hacked/jailbroken phone. Probably because whoever "repaired" the water damage replaced the logic board with one that was illegally hacked to unlock it.
Apple does not "repair" liquid damaged phones. They replace them entirely with refurbished units.
Sorry. You got ripped off. Take it to whoever fixed it and let them know that's unacceptable. Then take whatever settlement you can get from them and buy a new phone.
You will never be able to update or restore that phone without permanently bricking it. -

Iphone 4s not charging after water damage and subsequent new battery
My phone got wet in my pocket during a rainstorm last week. After drying it out it appeared fine except that the battery won't charge. It does however appear that its charging, It makes the noise when connected to the charger and the battery icon has the charging symbol next to it. I've changed the battery and the problem persists. Do you think the charging circuits have been damaged? What should my next step be?

Have you tried to open the event and delete it? Tap on the event to open it, then scroll down to delete it.
You can also try toggling iCloud syncing for the calendar on and off (or off and on), this sometimes makes hte edit button reappear. -

Songs can be removed from your iPhone by tapping 'Songs,' then swiping the song, then tapping Delete.
Remove a song from iPhone. Tap Songs, swipe the song, then tap Delete. The song is deleted from iPhone, but not from your iTunes library on your Mac or PC, or from iCloud.

The application ITunes presumes that the information, data, music, etc in its database is the correct master. In doing so, it will overwrite and replace any information previously on the phone. You probably will want to transfer the iTunes data directory from it's original location (presumably the system yoiu used to sync with your iPhone previously), the the new system.
If your iPhone has data from a different Apple ID, than the ID you will use on the new notebook, then be prepared to lose the data on the phone if you sync. It's meant to work that way. -

Hi Cynthia! If you are syncing from something like Gmail you can go into the iPhones Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>(account you are syncing)> and turn off contacts. It will ask you if you want to delete them from your phone - just click delete. Exit Settings and turn phone off by power button (not all the way OFF). Then re-open Settings>mail, Contacts, Calendars>(account you are syncing)> and turn Contacts back on - This is where you need to be careful - When you turn contacts back on you will be prompted to delete or save the contacts already on your phone. CLICK DELETE. You should now have only your synced contacts on your phone! Hope it helps!
