How do I find out the exact path of each and every file that LabVIEW finds and loads into memory for a given top level vi?

How do I find out the exact path of each and every file that LabVIEW finds and loads into memory for a given top level vi? There is probably a trivial, easy way to get this info, but I have not yet found it!  Thanks..

Or if you want to grab all the paths programatically, try the attached VI.
Open the top level that you want all the paths from and close all others, then open the
attached and run it. It will return an array of all the VIs that the VI
in question uses, including vi.lib VIs. You can filter these as well if
you like.

Using the Abort button to stop your VI is like using a tree to stop your car. It works, but there may be consequences.

  • Finding the exact path to a newly created file.

    Hello,
In my program I create a new file using a BufferedWriter. This, as you most certainly know, creates the file in the current directory. I'd like to know how do I find out the exact path of the file I just created?
Example: the program is being run from C:\Java. The program creates the file test.txt. How do I figure out that it's C:\Java\test.txt if I don't know for sure what directory the program is being run from?
    Thanks,
    -Kain

Heh. I feel pretty dumb now. I had been looking at that exact method for about a week now but thinking it wouldn't be as easy as it sounds. After trying it it was pathetically easy. Guess I should always try things first before deeming it impossible by those means.

  • How to find out the exact culpirit session

How to find out the exact culpirit client machine process to kill the session and release.
    Thanks,

We can not directly solve this mystery, only you can do so.
V$SESSION contains data for all connected sessions.
If no unique combination of fields exists that allows you to identify the culprit client session, then you are out of luck.
See you started this thread with the premise that 1 session connected to the DB is a problem.
OK, we will accept this as being true.
Now via SQL how/what can you SELECT so that only 1 row is returned & that row corresponds to "problem client" session?
Since this is YOUR system & not ours, only you can solve this mystery.

  • How can I open and edit files that were developed and published by ftp to my host on my old macbook, which I can no longer access.

How can I open and edit files that were developed and published via ftp to my host on my old macbook, which I can no longer access. The HD containing the files cannot be accessed. I want to be able to download the published files to be edited in iweb?

You CAN'T download published files and then edit them in iWeb because iWeb can't open them - it has no import facility so is unable to open any html or css files - a previously published site.
You can download these files yes, but you'll need to use them as a guide or to cut and paste text from there whilst you re-build your site in iWeb.
The only other way is to download the files and then open them with an html editor such as TextWrangler or use one of the other web design programmes out there that is capable of importing html and css such as Dreamweaver of Flux 4.
These are your only alternatives as iWeb can't import and if you want to continue to use iWeb, then you'll have to re-build your site from scratch.  If you do just remember to back up your domain.sites file this time around - it is found under your User/Library/Applicaion Support/iWeb/domain.sites.

Web Server tells you specifically which Update release in the string you quote (in your string you are running the original release of Web Server 7.0).
My server is currently running Web Server 7.0 Update 7. The startup string looks like:

  • How can I find out the tempo of an imported quicktime audio file?

Hi. I'm trying to improve my music production skills by emulating the tracks of techno artists that I like.
My idea is to import one of their mp3 files into an audio track in Logic, so that I can see how they developed their songs.
After I import the song, it plays fine. But is there anyway to make it so that the track matches up with the grid without altering the tempo of the track itself? Somehow I think if I knew what the tempo for the track was, I could just adjust the tempo for the project and the song would fall in sync with the grid.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks.

You can find a BPM Counter in the metering folder in your audio plug ins. Just pop that baby on the track you're trying to analyze, hit play, and it will calculate the BPM. Then set the track to that and you're good to go.
Check out this video too on Beat Mapping, it's got a lot of cool info:
