Assuming that you synced the photos from iTunes - or whatever downloaded means - you must use iTunes again in order to remove the songs from the iPad. You have to uncheck the albums in the photos folder that you sync from in the Photos tab of iTunes and follow that with a sync.

Unless your account is based in the US then you can't re-download it for free (and not all films can be redownloaded in the US) - if you are in the US then you could see if it's in your purchase history for re-downloading. The MOV file extension simply refers to the file container. In this case, the MOV file container is the "generic" QT container that may contain any valid audio/video compression combination compatible/support on the system that created the file. For instance, if the movie was created on a system with FCP installed on it, that originator of the file may have used a compression codec not available on your system if you do not also have this application installed. The same holds for similar codecs like MPEG-2, DivX, XviD, WMV, etc. In some cases the codec may even be a legacy codec which will run in QT 7 but not the QT X player app.
In short, your best approach is to determine what audio and vide codecs are involved and then see if they are supported on your system. You can normally do this by checking the Finder Info window for the file or opening it in an alternative media player that supports playback and checking that app's media info window. For instance, the VLC media player supplies its own codecs and therefore does not rely on your system's QT component configuration.

I attempted to rent a movie from i-tunes. The download started and toward the end of the process it stopped downloading and it said "processing". Then i went to the video page and the movie was there and the 24hr countdown had already started. So i figured after the 24hrs was up everything would be gone and i could reorder another movie. Well after 24hrs the movie was gone, but the "processing" process was still on the download page in i-tunes and it will not go away!!!!!! Also the 2.9 Gigabytes that went with the movie are still gone. I've tapped to retry, I've rebooted the device. Please help me get rid of this problem. Thank you........

Tried monkeying around with the Applications preferences, but doesn't seem relevant. Doesn't give me an option to do anything other than download the file when I click the link. I tried Safari too, just to see if that'd make any difference, and it didn't.

That is a problem with the code on that page.<br />
It is a perl script that needs to run on that server, but the link seems to be missing (GET) parameters that the script should evaluate. If there are no such parameters passed to the script then you get such a download pop-up.
What should happen if you click that button?

If the movies are no longer available in the iTunes Store, you cannot download them again.
If you have certain content resticted you may not be able to download them again. Settings>General>Restrictions>Allowed Content>Movies.

Don't hide from iTunes in the cloud when asked, close iTunes, then reopen. You can download from the cloud links or iTunes Store > Quicklinks > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer > All songs > Download all.

You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

You cannot import contacts from your Nano to your PC via iTunes. The syncing process is only one way. However, if you enable disk mode on your iPod, open it up in a Windows Explorer window, you should see a Contacts folder. From there you can copy them back over to your PC.
Even though this article is talking about adding contacts to the PC, it should walk you through some of the steps mentioned above.
