How do I get google hangouts to recognize my camera
I have a new Macbook Air running on OS X 10.9.. When I use google hangouts I can only use audio/voice, It will not access my camera.
I have read multiple chat forums from the fall 2013 that share in this issue, wondering if anyone knows if the plugin has been developed yet to fix this?

Try image capture - once you get the photos off of the camera use the camera to reformat the mamory card
A highy recommended work flow it to never let iPhoto erase your photos - always "keep" your photos and later after at least one successful backup cycle use the camera's format command to erase and reformat the card - this protects against lost photos and keeps the card format fresh
An even better wrok flow is to use a card reader to import your photos

carolI do not know that camera, but with many, there is a set scheme for the connections, to get things to work. It seems to differ by make/model, but many have found that just by changing the order of turning things on, and invoking the Capture module, things will usually work.
The connections are camera to computer via FW cable, then turn ON camera in proper mode, then launch PrE, then go to Capture. Users have found that their camera will require, say, plug-in, launch PrE, THEN turn ON camera, then launch the Capture module. As you can see, there can be variations in when one does each part of that chain, and it can make a difference. I would sit down with a pad and pencil, and test each possibility. If one works, that would be the scheme that I would then use.

PS - the only thing that I would NOT do would be to turn ON the camera, prior to connecting via the FW cable. That can cause big issues. -

The Touch Copy third party software for PC's is the way to go it seems and although the demo is free, if you have over 100 songs then it costs £15 to buy the software which seems not a lot to pay for peace of mind. and restoring your iTunes library back to how it was.

What version of iTunes are you running on your computer? You need to update to the current version.

Since you already had two iPod before getting the iPhone, what exactly did you need to "install" to use the iPhone? Doesn't it use to the same iTunes installation you already used with the iPods?
So, I guess my question is, what changed on the computer when you started using the iPhone?
What happens now when you connect the iPod? Is the iPod still seen in Windows device manager? -
I recently changed my email address and updated my password. However, when I connect my iPhone 4 it defaults to my old email address which is no longer valid. How do I get my phone to recognize my updated email address and how do I now change the iPhone 4 to recognize the new address? I wish to delete all reference to the old address. Here is a procedure that should help.
1. Go to "Settings"
2. Go to "Mail, Contacts, Calendars"
3. Click the account you don't want anymore
4. Go to the bottom and click "Delete Account"
5. Confirm the deletion
6. Go back to "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" (if you're not there already)
7. Add your new account -

Application Manager says that Photoshop CS6 is installed. It isn't. I've rebooted the Mac and it still says it's installed. What installed was a partial or corrupt file which I have trashed.
