How do I get rid of error code 2001/2006? My phone is in recovery mode. I have tried several different cords, all USB ports, my macbook, and a friends PC. This is the second time my phone has done this, the first time it was an easy fix.
I have an iPhone 4. It is in great condition, always protected. A couple months ago, it randomly went black and wouldn't turn on. I put it in recovery mode, plugged it in to my MacBook Pro and would get error code 2001 then I'd get error code 2006. I read some different forums and many people said to try using a different USB port and different cords. The last cord I tried, worked and my phone was back. Last night, my phone did the same exact thing. So I used the same method I used last time, however nothing has worked. I tried plugging it in to a PC and that didn't work either. This seems like a hopeless problem that's going to continue to happen. Any advice?
Soooooooo.... You obviously need to restore the device
It seems that you have tried several options to restore it. What I would do is leave it plugged it and hold down the Home button AND the Power button together till you see the white apple appears. Then let go of the Power button but continue to hold the home button. You should get the message in iTunes again saying that the iPhone needs to be restored. Hit OK then RESTORE.

I understand that you are getting the error 0x80010108 when you insert your CD into your Optical Drive on your HP Touchsmart 520 Desktop PC. The error you are receiving is related to Windows Essentials and I suggest that you download and install the latest version from the Windows Essentials website. I believe that Windows Essentials was aware of this error and have corrected it in their updates.

How do get rid of Error 1032 from my emails on my iPad? I can't access my email because of it. Can someone help?
Are you using Apple mail, Yahoo mail, gmail, etc?
Saw this on another post:
Quit the mail app completely and reboot the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
Then repeat the steps above if you still cannot get your mail.

While YOU may not have attempted to jailbreak the phone, SOMEONE ELSE did. Error 1015 occurs by attempting to restore a previously jailbroken phone.
It's very likely you may NEVER get your phone out of recovery mode and your phone may be rendered permanently bricked.
Terms of Use of this forum prohibit the discussion of jailbroken phones. You'll have to scour the internet for a solution to your problem, if indeed one exists. -
This has never been a problem before, but when I insert a CD, iTunes does not ask me if i want to import the songs. It will not play the CD and ejects it. I have tried several different CDs and cannot import or play any of them. I can play songs that are already in my library Suecq5

If that doesn't help you can try a cleaning disc, or a shot of compressed air but chances are good that your optical drive has failed. You can either replace it or buy an inexpensive external unit (but not Apple's as it won't work on macs with a built in drive working or not). -
My MBA 13" Late 2010 displayport to TV has stopped working, is there a way to troubleshoot the port? Have tried several different ways of trying, but TV still reads "No Signal" while the TV changes resolution as if it were sharing it's screen?

When I have opened up Firefox for internet use YAHOO will take over the screen in mid-use. I hit the return button and have to repeat this several times to get back to the site I was on. I have never used YAHOO and from their hostile takeover action never will. How do I get rid of this "virus"?

How do I get rid of error message, "iTunes could not back up the iPad because an error occurred."
During a recent syncing of my iPad and iTunes, I cancelled a sync during the backup step of the process. Since then I whenever I sync the ipad I know get, "iTunes could not back up the iPad because an error occurred."
I have reset my iPad and turned off the MacBook, still the message occurs.
Can someone offer some advice on how to get rid of this error message?You can try deleting your backup. Launch Itunes on your Mac and go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices. Highlight the name of the iPad backup and select delete. Quit iTunes, restart your Mac and try to sync again.

My phone played music fine yesterday. Today, headphones plugged in or not, my music (including YouTube and ringer) stops working. The timer still counts up as though it is still working but the volume turns gray or not at all and the little circle volume control disappears. How can I get my music working again?

How can I get rid of error message?
Have tried to set up my pop3 email on my 6700 slide using the same settings I've always used on previous phones/pc and for some reason emails just won't send. However my main problem is that I keep getting a message flash on screen saying 'Unable to send message:[Email address]. As soon as I clear it, it comes back about 2 seconds later and just won't go away. Stops me doing anything on the phone as I have to keep clearing the message every few seconds. I've gone into drafts/outbox, every folder I can find in 'Messaging' and there's no copy of the email to even delete it. I've even gone to my mail server on the web and the message isn't showing. From the mailbox itself on the phone, I've tried to folders under 'More folders' but there's nothing showing - no sent or drafts folders. How can I stop this error message appearing every 2 seconds?

I would suggest taking a backup of the registry before trying the steps below.
We cannot provide support for any issues that may occur due to editing the registry, so we would recommend to do a full registry backup before making any changes.
An unsuccessful install of prior Windows Updates OR Custom MSI packages could have left over faulty registry keys under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\COMPONENTS.
