Wow that was really quick, thank you so much. Im not sure at all which version it was because i said it was around 4 years ago he bought it. I know it isn't under his username, since he's a PC person (ugh) so i know its probably registered to one of our actual names. isn't there some way to look it up since we did register it, because I'm not even sure where the disks are from when we bought it (we've moved a lot and also have two storage lockers, i know i would have kept it with other disks) but my cd rom drive is actually broken on my computer as well ( i think it got stepped on and is now squished and won't eject or run disks.)
So is there anyway they can look up that its registered to one of our names since we did register it when we bought and installed it, or do i really have to find the disk with some sort of proof of purchase (i know there would be no receipt after all this time)

HOW do I get the "watch" to stay on and not shut off on my 6th GEN NANO?

After purchasing a $70 cool watchband for my new 6th GEN NANO, I'm very disapointed that I can't get the "watch" function to stay on more than 15 seconds. AppleCare says that it isn't meant to stay on, it would run down the battery. Then why put on 16 watch faces, and show it as a "watch" on everything you publish? Doesn't make sense you can watch TV shows and movies, but doesn't have enough battery to run a watch face. BAD design, and shame on APPLE for selling a dozen different watchbands in their stores. Now don't you think the store salesman would say "are you thinking of wearing this as a watch, or to hold your NANO while you are at the gym"? 15 seconds is often not enought time to get setup and take someone's blood pressure. I don't think I need to offer an explanation of WHY a watch should work more than 15 seconds without pushing a button, do I?

This is getting silly, but I'm not too young to remember the early digital watches. The difference is that we knew what we were buying . jThey were upfont about the FACT that the watches didn't stay on. And how well did they sell as watches? Hmmm I don't think any of us said that Apple was pushing Nano primarily as a watch. That said, this is not a third party "app" either .... 18 clock faces come with the Nano as a "feature" of the product. It's not a "digital time read out"... it's made to look and act like a watch. Apples own website touts that you can change its face "to match your mood or your outfit".... The bands they sell range from $20 bucks to like $150 bucks.... This is a HUGE money maker for them. It is THESE KINDS OF FEATURES that brings people back buying new ipods, because like I said, without them, I have plenty of devices that already "record music", or "store pictures". And your other points have zero merit. Go to the Apple website to the Nano 6 page where Apple touts all of its merits. This is where Apple explains the features of their product. How can I get the Auto Brightness feature to stop turning itself off?

I just moved from a GS5 to the GS6. I'm having several issues with the GS6. For this discussion: I check the box for Auto Brightness control. Shortly thereafter, the box seemingly un-checks itself and the brightness blasts up. That's not easy to read and it certainly will deplete my battery charge more quickly. Have I missed something? How do i get the lefthand sidebar to show everything after 11.1.5?

restarted my computer last night. now the itunes sidebar is all weird.
I figure this must be some sort of weird update.
how do i get the sidebar to show everything again, instead of having to drill down strangly placed weird icons?
like a 'library' sidebar drill down, that shows all movie and music and devices on the sidebar.

How do I get the Acrobat Distiller back?

Using FM10. Have to create a PDF file only occasionally. Always used the plug-in that came with FrameMaker. We decided to download the trial version of Acrobat X. Used it for awhile but didn't see any great advantages to buying it. For the work we're doing, the Save as PDF feature in FrameMaker worked just fine. So I deleted Acrobat X. Now the distiller is gone as well. I can no longer Save as PDF in FrameMaker. When I try, I get the error message, "To execute 'Save as PDF' command, you must have Acrobat Distiller version 5.05 or higher installed."
How do I get the distiller back?
We purchased and downloaded FrameMaker on-line so I have no CD.

Saving such files is good advice. As it turns out, I did save the download files at home. So that part is no longer an issue. Right now, the inability to create a pdf file is still the issue. I've made no progress there.
To summarize, here is the sequence of events so far:
- Deleted the trial version of Acrobat X Pro.
- Found that the Distiller was no longer there.
- On the advice of Dov Isaacs, above, re-installed FM10 from the original downloaded install files.
- Still unable to 'Save as PDF." A tps file is created.
- Re-installed FM10 once again, this time ensuring that the 'Install Adobe PDF Creation Add On X' was checked to install.
- After the install, double checked in the Control Panel to see that the add-on was installed.
- Still unable to create a PDF. FM goes through the gyrations and it does create a tps file, but somehow can't bring up the distiller to complete the process.
I have triple checked all of the settings and they are the same as I've always used. I'm thinking that there's some remnant of Acrobat left over that Frame is looking at and getting no response from. Maybe something in the Windows Registry. Oh my! Perish that thought! Might I next have to completely delete everthing associated with Adobe and start completely from scratch?

I am currently using LiveCycke Designer to create a scholarship for my company. I created fields for the form and I would like to insert a text to describe the scholarship. When I insert the text, it doesn't flow onto the next page. I've tried creating a subform and clicking "flowed" and "allow page breaks within content". I also clicked auto-fit for the height, but it just makes a line. For the text box, I've clicked "Expand to fit on the height". It is also a dynamic XML Form. Is there anything else I should be doing?
I could always send the file to someone to see if they can figure it out.

Here is the corrected form..Even you you set the Subform type to "Flowed" to the subform where the Text box resides, you did not set the Page1 to Flowed (which is the key)..But when I make the Page1 type to "Flowed", all your fields above the Scholrship text boxes' Subform will go one below another.. To fix this, first I have select all the fields and wrap them into a subform and then set the Page1 to Flowed..

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion. Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If you have failed to bakup, then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod: File>Transfer Purchases

Check that you still have the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" placed on the Bookmarks Toolbar
* Make sure that you have the "Bookmarks Toolbar" visible: "View > Toolbars"
* Check in "View > Toolbars > Customize" that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
* If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the Customize window onto the Bookmarks Toolbar
* If you do not see the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" then click the "Restore Default Set" button
You can only move the content from a toolbar onto other toolbars if all toolbars support that feature. You need to check that in the options of each toolbar.

How do I get the statistics express to read more than 10 segments when reading from a .lvm

I have tried 2 ways of doing this. I had an for loop set up with a "Read labVIEW Measurement FIle" then a xy chart to plot the 2 measurements vs. each other. The chart works and will plot everything great but the "Statistics" express will only take 10 samples at a time and will keep redoing the statistics for each subsequent segment of 10 samples. I tried to change this to a while loop but then the same thing happens with the stats and the xy chart does not graph. How do I get the stats calculate for the entire file?

I think I understand what you are looking to do here, but it might be easiest for myself and others to help you more specifically if you post a screenshot of your code, or your actual VI. However, I looked into trying to achieve something similar, and used a loop structure to bring the information in from a file. Then, outside the loop, I used the Statistics Express VI from the Mathematics palette to obtain some statistical values. What type of statistics are you looking to receive from this program?
