On windows, there's a button to hide group avatar and topic. Can I do this in the latest version of mac?

I'm going to slack instead of skype. Problem solved.

It doesn't work like in other programmes and Illustrator's behaviour is often undesired.

How to hide Group Tree in Crystal Report Server.

Hi all visitors
i have created one crystal report and my report use group to summary the amount of each day.
after i use group to summary, i used text box cover the group. so my group can't click anything.
After that i upload my report to crystal report server, when i viewed my report and when i click on Group Tree, it will show the list of group (group date in crystal report) and it also can click. I don't want to show the Group Tree in Crystal Report Server.
Anybody know how to hide group tree in crystal report server?

Are you talking custom application, or infoview? If it is custom app, you would have to look at the setToolPanelViewType method. if its infoview, no direct way to change this that i know of.

How do I restore Groups to Contacts from time machine?

How do I restore groups to Contacts using time machine? I somehow managed to duplicate many groups and contacts in Contacts, so I deleted everything and tried to restore them using time machine backup from a few days before. It restored all my contacts, but none of my groups. If you select a group and click restore it will restore all the contacts in the group, but not the group itself. I had many groups with many contacts in each and would really prefer not to do this manually. I can see the groups in the time machine backup, but cannot figure out how to restore them. I know from researching online that with Address Books and previous operating systems you could go to ~Library/Applications Support/AddressBook and restore the whole file, but either this operating systems hides the necessary files or Contacts is set up differently than AddressBook was. I am using OS 10.9.5 and Contacts version 8.0 on a MacbookPro 13 inch mid 2010.

Here is what I have tried:
1. Finder>Go>(Option)Library>Address Book(highlighted)with files showing in right column. Opened Time Machine and Address Book folder is there. Tried to go back to several previous dates from several months ago. None will highlight in order for the Restore button to light up.
2. Finder>Mac HD (under Devices)>(Option)Library>Address Book (same as above). Again, cannot go anywhere back in time to highlight a date for Restore button to light up.
Note: I was able to use Time Machine to restore my Contacts with no problem. However, they are All Contacts only and did not restore my Groups. I do know how to make groups again and highlight and drag them back, but wanted to see if there was a way to restore the groups. I will post another question as to why my Time Machine won't let me restore the Address Book as well as the Contacts. Thank you for your time and patience.

How can i hide elements of a view?

Hi,, i've got a question about, how can i hide an element of a view?, this element colud be a group, a label, an input field, any element that i can put in the view layout.
My view has an ALV, an inputfield and a Table with a button, so when i click on a line of the alv, it shows data in the table and in the inputfield, and when i click on the button of the table, i want to hide the table and the inputfield, until i clik on the alv again to make appear the table and the inputfield.

It can be done easily by <b>context binding</b> the visibility property of the table and input field UI element to a node attribute whose type would be WDY_BOOLEAN.
1. Initially the node attributes default value would be 'X'.
2. When you click the button in the ALV, in the event handler of that button change the binded node attribute value to ' '.
3. When on lead selection of the table again change the binded node attribute field value to 'X'.
4. Below is the sample code to read the binded node attribute and toggle the visiblity attribute to 'X' if it is ' ' and vice versa.

Hide group columns

Whilie reducing the size of the cell minimizes the real estate consumed by the report, it doesn't resolve the issue of having the group columns in the output. When a report is exported to Excel, these columns create merged cells which limit functionality
in the worksheet.
For example: I have a tablix with 3 groups. When the report exports to Excel, my data begins in Column D instead of starting in Column A.
I have tried hiding the individual cells, hiding the columns (using the hidden property of the column), hiding the group (removes all data), and deleting the columns (removes the groups).
How can I hide or remove the column without affecting the grouping?

Never mind. I found the answer in the most obviious place.
I was deleting the column and clicking through the acceptance. The default is to delete the column and the group both.
When I slowed down, I found the option to delete the column only. This resolved my issue.
My data now starts in Column A as expected.

Possible to hide Grouping name for certain tracks only?

I am organising my classical music library and using the Grouping column with good success.
However, it would be visually better to be able to hide the Grouping name for the subsequent movements of a piece. For example in a Dvorak album:

I have never used the shuffle by groupings feature, but I would think it would be affected.
You need to experiment and decide how important shuffle by grouping is compared to the appearance in the iTunes Library.
iTunes is not good at dealing with classical music and you will find a lot of discussion of the problem with Google.

You can change it but not delete.
Open System Preferences > Users & Groups (or Security) the select the Password tab.
Click the avatar icon then click Edit Picture.
You may need to click the gold padlock icon bottom left corner of the window to make changes. You will be prompted for your admin password.

Does anyone know how to hide group member's e-mail addresses &/or names when sending a group contact email? I just want the Group Name to appear in the "to" section of the email. Thx

A group is just a 'container' into which you place email addresses. Change it in System Preferences > Users & Groups, right-click on the picture. Also be aware that this picture is not visible to people who recieve your email, unless they have the same picture for you in their AddressBook.

How to create a group calendar?

i am sorry but this is one more question on wiki-group-calendars.
*In short:*
I am not able to create a group calendar with the wiki frontend. the calendar that is created with a wiki is owned by the admin of the wiki. So it is always a personal calendar that cannot be shared in iCal.
LONG:
I want to create a group calendar that is viewed and edited through iCal.app and the web service. Apple´s "wiki deployment" guide says on page 57:
+"The web calendar allows you to easily schedule events for yourself or your group. ...+
+There are *two types of web calendars: personal and group*. You can send and receive event invitations through the personal calendar but not through the group calendar. Also, *while anyone in a group can create or edit events in a group calendar*, you can edit only events in your own personal calendar or event invitations you send to other people.+

But there is not mentioned how to create a group calendar. The calendar created with the wiki web-frontend belongs to the admin of that particular wiki. This is why the calendar data ist stored in folder named with the UUID of the wiki admin. Also the alias "http://server.fqdn:8008/principals/groups/mygroupname/" which i provided in iCal turns into ..._uids_UUID-of-the-wiki-admin and only the wiki-admin can access this calendar in iCal.app.
My research on this topic reveals that there were in issue that should be resolved in 10.6.4 (that is running on our Server). So, again, how to create a group calendar?

You said "you need to go to the wiki page and add the wiki's there...." What is the "wiki page" you mention? Is that some place I go to via the browser or the Server Admin tool?
I went to http://ical.mysite.com/ical/ and logged in as the Directory Administrator but didn't see anything resembling what you described.
