How do I NOT save a file every time I open a PDF file, open an attachment, etc.? I know how to set the option to change the save location, but in some cases I just want to VIEW not SAVE a file that I read while browsing

I don't want Firefox to save a copy on my hard disk of every attachment, PDF, etc. that I open while browsing. How do I make this happen?

Firefox needs to download and save a file before passing it to a plugin.
You can set the Boolean pref browser.helperApps.deleteTempFileOnExit to true on the about:config page to remove such files.
To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. 
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page. 
*Use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a preference more easily.
*Preferences that have been modified show as bold (user set).
*Preferences can be reset to the default via the right-click context menu if they are user set
*Preferences can be changed via the right-click context menu: Modify (String or Integer) or Toggle (Boolean)

I created a clipping path on a photo, clipping out a person's head so that I can have the person's head show up over the masthead on a cover.
But when I save the photo in Photoshop and then import it into Quark, the option where it says I can change the clipping options in Quark is greyed out.
This is what it says to possibly fix it on the Quark help page:
"You may want to choose "None" from the Clipping path pop-up menu when you save the image from Adobe Photoshop, so you can specify which path to use as the clipping path when you import the image into QuarkXPress. Or, you may want to choose a path from the Clipping path pop-up menu, so you can be sure only that path will be used to clip the image."
I don't understand what that refers to....I can't find anything like that in the Photoshop options.
My goal is to have the person's head over the text, with the rest of the photo still retained in the background. As it is now, I just get an import of the clipping path alone, with Quark substituting the background part of the photo with a white box.

I don't know where els to post this. I am wondering if in a future update could apple make it possible for me to change the color of my keyboard? It's just too white and I would like to have a black keyboard all the time. Also about the color pallet of the apps, I want a way to make them look less ( I don't know how els to say this) girly? I don't really think so. But lots of people are disturbed by even small scratches, so get one. The bit you don't want to scratch is the screen, but it's pretty scratch resistant. If you want, you could get a cover for this bit only:

Yes you will, as the headphone recess is non-standard. Griffin and Belkin make adapters you can use.

Hallo, and thank you for reading this.
I am a person who saves a lot of images online and renames them in different folders in different names like B - 34 or G - 56. I have been working with firefox 10 for quite some time and it had a pretty handy bug (I guess) where I could save an image and firefox would just save the image in it's original type (JPEG,PNG etc) while "save as type" was empty.
It also always has shown all the image types in the folder where I save the images (except for GIF) and that helpes me quite a lot by saving me the trouble of selecting "all files" every time I save or going to the folder to rename every image.
Now this seems to be lacking in the newest firefox versions and my question is if I can set firefox to always show me all the image file types when saving an image, instead of only showing JPEG's when I try to save a JPEG.

I suspect this is a Windows problem. I am surmising the FilePicker uses the Operating System or Desktop facilities. Does Windows 7 offer any other file categories like ''images'' ?

I know, I always do that but I was in a rush to get somewhere and I was relying on my thousand dollar Mac to do some kind of recovery or something. I know Microsoft always keeps temporary files (I think Mac does too, part of me asking here in this forum was for someone to tell me where I can find those files) and when you go to open Office Works then it gives you the option of opening the last recent documents, saved or not saved.

Can you connect to a wifi source on the device? Enable wifi in settings on the device itself. If you don't have wifi at home, there may be a local hotspot you can use for this.
The reason this happens is carriers don't want people downloading huge files that would slow their network as well as eat up your data plan.

How to restrict the user to change the project structure but not the documents?

I have created one project assigning different users in Solution manger. I want to risitrict some of the users to change the project structure but simultaneously allwoing the project documents to be created, edited or deleted using solar01 under Project documentation tab. For that I have followed the steps provided in the follwoing link.

I am able to restrict the users to change the project structure, but I am not able to allow access to the project documents. It gives me the message "You are not authorised to change the project". Basically there are 2 different authorization role ...you should look for and customize as per requirement in Z* namespace.
role - SAP_SOLAR01_ALL
this take care of objects in Solar01 like tab access etc
role -SAP_SOL_KW_ALL
this takes care of entire documentation within solman
