How do I remove events off of my calendar on my iPod Touch? I do not see any option on the screen to remove them.

The iTunes app takes you to the iTunes Store (purple icon in your Home screen) to make purchases, tapping the Music app in the Dock (I said iTunes before, my mistake), is where your iTunes purchases are stored in your library where you can delete tracks if necessary.
You can only delete songs from your library.

Ah, I see what you did. However I think my problem is a little bit different. I have my "mobile.me" contact file (which syncs just fine), PLUS I have an "on my iPod touch" contact file. I'd like to delete the "on my iPod" set of info and retain the Apple (me.com) info.
Any suggestions would be welcome.

I bought an iPod Touch 3rd Gen from someone, it was jailbroken and I didn't know. I went into the general settings and reseted all settings and data. Since then, the iPod has been reseting itself all the time, passing from the home screen's apple logo, which then explodes and becomes the Jailbreak logo. It loads a bit, but never opens up. What to do?

if its recognized in itunes you should be able to restore it to factory settings which will remove the jailbreak

I then synced my iPod with only the folders I wanted to update, that did not include the new songs or recently added. Of course, they were added anyway. Does anyone know how to sync iCal with events from your iPod Touch?

So I use my iPod for events more than I do with my MacBook. However I'm trying to sync iCal on my computer with the events on my iPod yet I haven't found a method that actaully works.
Does anyone happen to know of an effective method where you can move events from your iPod to your MacBook?

When your ISP tells you they have detected "bot" activity, that can mean many things. As John has indicated, it could mean that a Windows machine on your home network is infected with something. It could mean that a Mac on your home network is infected with something, although that is extremely unlikely at this point in time. (See my Mac Malware Guide.)
However, often, these alerts are triggered by no more than an attempt to access a known "bot" site or phishing site. A malicious JavaScript that a hacker sneaks into a legit website could be all that is required to trigger such a connection, and does not involve your machine being infected in any way.
Your iPod, or any other iOS devices you may have, is guaranteed at this time not to have any malware since you have not jailbroken it. You can scan all the other machines in your household with anti-virus software to set your mind at ease. I would recommend ClamXav for that purpose on the Macs.
You should also be sure that your wifi network is locked down with a password. If it's wide open, not only is that insecure, but someone could be "piggybacking" on your network who is infected.

I have tried a couple of calendar apps and while they do a good job of showing the events in the app - they don't push (synch) back to iCloud. Apple's official advice on duplicates is here: Find and remove duplicate items in your iTunes library. It is a manual process and the article fails to explain some of the potential pitfalls such as lost ratings and playlist membership, or that sometimes the same file can be represented by multiple entries in the library and that deleting one and recycling the file will break the other.
Use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicate Items to display duplicates as this is normally a more useful selection. You need to manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sorting the list by Date Added may make it easier to select the appropriate tracks, however this works best when performed immediately after the dupes have been created. If you have multiple entries in iTunes connected to the same file on the hard drive then don't send to the recycle bin.
Use my DeDuper script if you're not sure, don't want to do it by hand, or want to preserve ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this thread for background, this post for detailed instructions, and please take note of the warning to backup your library before deduping.
(If you don't see the menu bar press ALT to show it temporarily or CTRL+B to keep it displayed.)
The most recent version of the script can tidy dead links as long as there is at least one live duplicate to merge stats and playlist membership to and should cope sensibly when the same file has been added via multiple paths.
Fix the library, then syncing should fix the device.

Do you mean an audiobook? It will depending on how you have your iPod and iTunes setup. In the Sidebar, you should be able to expand the items under your iPod so you can see Books. Then rt click on the audiobook in your iPod's audiobooks and click delete. If the Sidebar is not open, then on Windows, the Crtl + S key will open it.
If you're 'Syncing' you iPod to iTunes, there will be other steps to remove the audiobook. You'd probably need to uncheck the audiobook in iTunes, then re-sync.

If it was originally on the camera roll try this: take another unimportant photo for test purposes, copy it to any special folder you have created within Photos, connect your iPad to your computer, locate it as any other external device, and most likely that Photos folder will be the only thing that will show up, locate the photo, delete it and then sync your iPad.
If the test photo is gone from the camera roll but still in another folder within the app then you know that the system works so go ahead with the process. I understand that there are other photo apps which might let you achieve your goal much quicker.

All day events created on iPod touch syncing a day late in iCal

Hi everyone,
When I create an all day event on the iPod touch and then sync to my mac, the newly created event shows up a day late in iCal, but remains correct on the iPod. I've noticed one or two other forums where people are having this problem but it doesn't appear to have been solved yet. Has anyone got any ideas about why this would happen? It's really bugging me as the calendar was one of the main reasons I bought the iPod in the first place, I'm thinking about taking it back if I can't get it to work. It appears to be a new problem as of some time this year (judging by other's experience, I've only had mine a week) so perhaps a dodgy software update?
Any help would be appreciated.

should clarify that I deleted duplicate events on the ipod so that should have left one in ical. there is still one listed in ical on the ipod but not on the computer, so deleting duplicate entry deleted it entirely from my ical on computer and mobile me. no icloud yet
