How do I reset the password that allows me to download reader.. I worked with chat help two hours last night - we have reset a password that lets me into my adobe account but in the download reader process that password will not work - where it says Adobe reader wants to change something and please type in password, just vibrates with the dots glowing purple but will not open…. what do I do to reset that password or get it to function. they would not assist me further they said its a free download and I would need to seek help from forums ( all this is new to me )
so "forums" help…what do I do ?

I have been able with your lead to find the password I need , and to have install happen
however - when I then go to the website to download the Pdf document I need I get a screen with the big red adobe icon that says to complete and down load this document I must launch adobe reader a dn sign the terms of agreement , close browser and reopen.
but thatscren has no choice buttons whatsoever, I cannot find anywhere a adobe reader image to launch - been into launch pad , preferences etc.
so now the loop is the pdf document and the adobe screen saying I must do terms of agreement
like is this Kafka like or what ...

you need to enter your apple id and you will see two options verify your date of birth OR Email Authentcation (That mean you have to option to option to reset your apple id and password either you can verify your date of birth and security questions, If you forgot your security question you can simply select Email option, you will recive one email from apple just click on the link and enter your new Password)

It sounds like your Wi-Fi network is working if your desktop works with it, we just need to get the Wi-Fi on your iPhone and iPad connected to it. I found a couple of resources to help with not being able to connect to Wi-Fi on an iOS device.
I recommend following the steps in this tutorial first (the steps should work on the iPhone and iPad):

If you are still having trouble connecting to Wi-Fi, follow the steps in this article (you can skip any steps you have already taken):

Can't update apps. I have reset my Apple ID to my new e mail address but when I try to download or update apps. my old, no longer functioning one, automatically comes up asking me for a password, which I don't know and can't have sent to that ID!

I used to have my old work e mail address as my Apple ID but have now changed it to my new one, had all of the verification e mails and everything. Any content is tied to the account that you used to buy/download it - so if you created a new account as opposed to updating the existing one, then you will need to use the old account to download updates to its apps. Can you not update your old account so as to have a new email address on it (e.g. via this page) ?

To disable that feature it will depend on whether or not you sync everything in the cloud using Apple's iCloud, OR if you both use the same desktop/laptop computer with iTunes. When I try to download an app from the AppStore , it asks for my apple password. The problem is in the box that opens to ask this, my apple I'd has a letter missing from it, so keeps on telling me it's a wrong password. I

Thanks Ralph, i tried that but it still didnt change the ID on the apps store. Strange thing is I tried my origional password and it worked, it seems the Apple ID ie my email address is not transfering to the app store , as when I try to download something and it requests my password when the Apple ID box opens, the ID is still missing a letter? Im at a loss as to how this happened or how to change it, but as it s working with my old password should I be worried about it? its different to anything else On apple ID , other than the one missing letter its the same email address but a different password for each one. Once again, my thanks for your assistance. If I may impose on your generosity one more time, if I understand you correctly if I create a document on Word or WordPerfect, print it and scan it to create a pdf, the search function will not work. But, if I create the pdf document in Word the search function will work. Unfortunately, I am not sure how I create a pdf document in Word other than by printing it and scanning it. Could you please explain.
