How do I restore a previous session when the Firefox homepage does NOT have the "restore" button and it is grayed out in the menu? menu
My Firefox homepage had a "Restore Previous Session" button but it has disappeared. SO when my Firefox crashes I lose all my tabs and tab groups, and this is very inconvenient. I have checked through all the "Options" seeing if there is some button there to enable this feature, but to no avail. I am frustrated as after a crash I spend hours revisiting all my links in my History menu to reset my tabs. Can you help?
In case you are using "Clear history when Firefox closes":
*do not clear the Browsing History
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history": [X] "Clear history when Firefox closes" > Settings

Note that clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and passwords.
Clearing cookies will remove all specified (selected) cookies including cookies that have an allow exception and cookies from plugins.

The sound you heard could be your hard drive. It makes a spinning sound like the dvd drive sometimes. Did you notice if the light on the dvd drive came on as well, if not then it was the hard drive making the noise.

My iphone 4s keeps saying it does not have enough icloud storage and icloud cannot be backed up. When I go to icloud Storage & Backup in my settings, it says that I have 5.0 GB total and 5.0 GB available. The only thing I have selected, at this point, to be backed up are my contacts and the Find My iPhone app. Why does it always say I have no icloud storage available when I have ALL of the icloud storage available?!
It says that my next backup size is 7.3 GB, but I have no idea why, because the only thing selected is the Find iPhone app, which takes up 0.2 KB...How do I get rid of whatever it THINKS it's backing up?

The disk needs to be properly formated & partitioned.
Format a disk
Macintosh-HD -> Applications -> Utilities -> Disk Utility
Start up disk utility.
On the left pane view, you will see a list of all your disks. Click on the disk.
Click on the partition tab.
You will now see how your disk is currently set up. Fill in the information as appropriate. You should pick Mac OS Extended (Journaled).
Click on Options...
Select Apple Partition Map to boot a PPC.

My friend's iPod touch 5th gen is locked somehow for 41 years and she does not have a backup. Is there a way to unlock the iPod without restoring it or loosing the pictures and videos from the camera roll, the applications can be redownloaded and she had no music. Please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried, until the issue is reolved. If there's no resolution after Step 3, post your results.
