Mail attachment size is determined by your ISP, & limit that size to betweem 10MB's & 25MB's, depending on ISP. So, unless it is a very small video, you won't be able to.

While we all have MacBooks in this forum not all of us use iMovie. There's an iMovie Support Community where everybody uses iMovie. You should also post this question there to increase your chances of getting an answer. https://discussions.apple.com/community/ilife/imovie

I want to know how do I send Videos or texts from the Imessages to a cellular device

If the device you are sending to is an iOS 5 device with I message turned on, simply find the address in your address book and select  send message.   The pad will flip to the I message screen. Either type in your message, or touch the camera.  It will ask if you want a new picture, or an existing picture.  Your choice.

  • How can I send video email

I see a lot of sites offering video email. Does .mac offer video email? If so, how do I send video email.

You can attach a QuickTime or other video file to a mail message, though these tend to get clipped off and stripped off at mail servers — even compressed video files tend to be huge. The recipient gets to buffer the file in local storage, and can also have issues downloading the file on slower links.
You can send HTML-format mail and link to a video file on a server. (I tend to avoid loading HTML files from remote sites for various reasons, and I'm not alone here.) This is probably what these "video email services" are providing: storage, and a way to link to it from within an HTML-format mail message.
Or you could look to iChat or other such interactive mechanisms. iChat is part of Mac OS X and iChat Server is part of Mac OS X Server.
As for .Mac and such, a specific [.Mac Discussion Forum|http://discussions.apple.com/category.jspa?categoryID=116] is available, as is the [Apple Mail client forum|http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=753].

  • How do I send video (or any files) from my ipad 2 to my iMac ?

I have an iPad 2 and an iMac. I am not that advanced technically but I managed to do this in the past but the how/why seems lost to me now !!
I SIMPLY WANT TO SEND VIDEO TAKEN ON MY IPAD TO MY MAC WIRELESSLY.
I know the later iPads have AirDrop, but I have downloaded Dropbox for use with my iPad 2. When I have tried to send photos, videos, (by clicking on the box with an arrow) the iPad 2 only offers mail, message, icloud, vimeo, facebook options. Nowhere do i see the dropbox logo, or other options.
iCloud is a mystery to me. I have no idea how it works. Photostream seems to randomly get files onto my Mac, but how or why I have no idea.
Bluetooth is equally strange. I can connect iPad to iMac but then what? I don't see ways of exploring files either way.
Is there an issue with PROXIMITY ? Does the ipad have to be near the Mac for Dropbox to work ?
I now how to find the file, select the file, click the upload/share icon... after that I am stumped!
    Looking forward to any help.

    Upload video to Dropbox.
    1. Launch Dropbox on iPad
    2. Tap the "..."
    3. Select "Upload"
    4. Select Camera Roll
    5. Select video to upload
    6. Tap "Upload"

  • How do I send video (via gmail) from my iphone?  my laptop does it easily

I receive video & pics from my friend's attphone (they don't have an iphone) - through my gmail on my iphone.
I want to respond with a video, but don't know how.
How do I send (from my gmail on my iphone) a video attachment to my friend?
I can send them text & pics, no problem - but I'd like to send video clips that I have on my iphone as well.
I can send video clips from the same gmail account on my computer. How do I do it on my iphone? Is the imap/smtp thing set up wrong? I have outgoing imap and incoming smtp. Is that wrong?
    Thanks for your help

oh, thanks - that's really sad.
You'd think they'd have the technology to make that possible.
I wonder why they don't allow us to work with video.

  • How do I send videos and photo's from my mobile to the iPad via Bluetooth?

I am trying to send videos and photo's to my iPad from my mobile via Bluetooth but it won't work. The phone pairs with the iPad but won't connect to send files. Do I need an app for this? I am not very technical minded so please try and keep the answer as simple as possible.
    Thanks

The simplest thing I can think of is, a app called iFiles. It costs £1.79.
There is a free similar type program called Dropbox, but this one requires a wifi connection to access the files etc you have uploaded. Whereas the iFiles app doesn't need any type of connection after the files etc have been uploaded.
Once you have installed the iFiles app on the iPad. Connect the iPad to your computer via the usb cable.
The iPad will now appear on the left handside. Left click on it. Along the top of the screen you will see, summary, apps, music and so on.
Click on the word APPS. You will now see at the bottom of the screen a section called FILE SHARING, along with two little windows. On the left side box should be iFiles. Click on the iFiles entry in this box.
Next you should see on the right handside window, iFile documents, at the bottom of this box is a button with ADD on it. Click on this and locate the files etc on your computer that you are wanting added onto your iPad, click on the SYNC button, they are then uploaded onto your iPad and they are now available for you to access wherever you are. You don't need any connection, i.e. wifi, cellular connection.
Here's a couple of screen shot showing what I have explained above:
Here's a link to the iFiles site:

  • How do you send video to Bravia TV?

I have a MacBook Pro (OS X 10.6.8) and a Sony Bravia TV.  I have set up a wireless connection with the Bravia TV, which confirms on the screen that the MacBook is connected and invites me to "Send" what I want to show on the TV Screen.
What do I have to do to be able to stream photos or video from my MacBook to the TV?
I have previously succeeded in setting up a wired link to mirror the screen via a MiniDIsplay Port lead, and exporting using System Preferences > Display > Arrangement, but cannot find a similar way of setting up anything like "Send to TV", "Stream" or similar.
The only thing I have found is "Stream" function in i-Tunes, but that asks for an URL - I didn't think the TV would have an URL.
Has anyone managed to stream video or photos to a TV Bravia?  If so, how did you do it?
    Thanks.

Andy, thank you for your reply.  However, I am not sure that it is correct.  The Sony Bravia TV has recognised the wireless link with my MacBook, says it is connected and then asks me to send the video.
I don't know how to set up i-Tunes to share a video with the wireless connection.  I assume that to stream from the MacBook via the wireless connection, I need to set something up on the MacBook or in i-Tunes so that the video is sent to the airport and then to the connected TV, rather than just to the MacBook screen which is what is happening.
I see elsewhere in the community there is talk of using a DNLA programme which I have to download.  Is that what is missing?  I have tried Isedora and one or two others, but I still can't find a way of streaming content via the wireless connection.  I have succeeded in making a wireless connection with a mobile phone to the Bravia, using Allshare, but not with the MacBook.
    Any further ideas?
    Thanks,
    MartinSuffolk

  • How do I send videos to the back?

    Hi!
I am doing a collage like effect in premiere pro where I layer videos over the top of one another (several different video sources in the same video) but I would like to send some videos behind the other videos.
    How do I do this?
    Thanks,
    Katie

Move them down a track  PP sees things from the top down, so the higher tracks will overlap the lower tracks.

  • HT1694 How can I send videos via email (hotmail) that are 55 seconds or more?

Hotmail is supposed to have a 10MB limit and my videos are only coming to 5MB. But I can send a video that is 54 seconds long, but 55 seconds won't send. I also tried sending it through a gmail account and it wouldn't work either. Any advice? I'm using a iphone4. Thank you!

When sending an email the largest size of any file or collection of files is 20MB. A 720p HD video recording from your iPhone 4 for 55 seconds probably hits about 20MB (or just under). There isn't a way to increase the email sizing limit, however there are other alternatives such as Microsoft SkyDrive (Free), DropBox (free) and Google Drive (free) which will let you upload and share your files (like you would with email, only slightly different).
If you have a Hotmail/MSN account, you already have SkyDrive and it's easy to setup and use. Just visit: https://skydrive.live.com and sign in using your Hotmail/MSN account.
If you have Gmail (or blogger, or other Google service including YouTube) you can enable and start using Google Drive easily also, just visit: https://drive.google.com/start
If have neither a Google or Microsoft acount, and have no interest in creating an account with either of them, try DropBox. Found here: https://www.dropbox.com

  • How to designate specific videos/songs to a specific device?

Whenever I download a new song from iTunes Store, I also purchase the song's video if available because I like to have the video on my Mac Mini(for home theater on the TV when listening from iTunes) and iPad. But if a video isn't available, I still purchase the song so it's available on my iPhone 4(used as an iPod hooked up to the vehicle while driving). So that leaves me with purchasing both the song and the video for every song. No biggie, not a problem.
But now have duplicates for the same song in my Library. One for the song itself, and one for the video. And while playing iTunes on my Mac Mini via the TV, iTunes doesn't always play the video as a Visualizer. It will start playing the song itself and use the default Visualizer. Is there a way to get the Mac Mini, when playing a song, to show the video option if one's available?
For example, here's a shot of part of my library.
You see that the first song showing is Attitude(you'll have to scroll to see the whole pic), and there's both the song and the video. While using the shuffle feature on the Mac Mini, iTunes won't always show the video version of the song on the TV while Visualizer(with Play Video enabled) is running. It will show the defualt Visualizer instead.
If there is a video of a song, I want iTunes to play that instead of the audio version of the song. Is there a way to set this up? I can't delete the audio version of the song because I need it in the Library for the iPod. Any suggestions?

Allan, as far as I can see it only allows me to include or not include Metadata by checkin the box in the Image Export window. I want to include most Metadata, particularly my name and copyright. There is one field where I keep my notes that I do not want to send with the photo. This is where my dilemma lies.
    thanks
