How do I set the ammount of URL's that will show when you click the drop down bar?

I remember before I was able to set a certain amount of URL's that would show in the drop down menu. before I had 10 set and then I downloaded an add on and now it's only 4. I disabled that add on and it's still only 4.

Yes, you'll need a client-side script to do fade-in/fade-out fx. Look at jQuery Superfish.

In System Preferences, and CDs &DVDs, I've set the drop-down menu for audio CDs to open iTunes. can anyone tell me why it always reverts to Ignore?

Can anyone help me figure out why the setting in System Preferences and CDs & DVDs will always revert to Ignore when I set the drop-down menu to When you insert a music CD, to Open ITunes? I've tried iTunes Help and it told me exactly what I have been doing. I've even tried downloading iTunes again, to no avail. If anyone has had the same problem, please let me know. I would very much appreciate it.

How can I get the drop down menu on the internet to work, which shows most visited websites? It was working on Firefox, and now doesn't.

On the internet when using Firefox, the drop down menu on recently visited sites (where you type in web addresses), does not work. How can I get it drop down and show websites that I recently visited, so I can click on them there instead of retyping them every time?

Make sure that the Location Bar is not set to "Nothing":

How do I find the drop down menu on Safari?

I'm a total novice so apologies right now. I've only had my Mac for a couple of weeks and already I can't sign into ebay which (on my old pc) meant I had to clear my cache. I've searched and seen that I have to use the drop down menu but er, I have no idea what that is, where I can find it or how. Many thanks in advance!

Like I said, apologies! Obviously, I didn't make myself clear at all! Bodycalming, I can confirm that it isn't always possible to successfully sign into ebay. Especially if you need to clear your cookies.

I've been on ebay since 2003 so I know how to sign in there, I was just being bounced back to the sign in page each time I tried. As I said, I knew how to deal with it on my old pc but was at a loss on my shiny new Mac.

Hi I would like to know how to disable the drop down box which appears below the search box on the start page when I start to type in my search topic. If for example the first letter I type in is an S then it shows a list of previous searches of sites beginning with the letter S.

How can I locate the drop down menu to select thumbnails for viewing my photos?

I am using Microsoft Windows Vista. I select Files> Get photos and Videos> From Files and Folders. I select my photos and In my views I have a choice of different size icons, list, details and tiles. The icons are a flower image. When I select an image to view it only appears as an extra large icon on the middle right side of the moniter. I would like to view the thumbnail of the photo bfore I bring to my organizer. The drop down menu doesn't have a choice for thumbnail.

Perhaps I need to supply more details. I am using PSE9. I haven't any problem importing the images into the Organizer as I just select the Icons and select "Get Media" or "Open" and they transfer over to the Organizer. I would like to see the image as a thumbnail not an icon when when making the selection. If I right click them, the Icon, and select open they will open in "Windows Live Photo Gallery".
The icons are now listed on the left side of the monitor about the right middle it states "Select A File To Preview". When I select a file (icon) a large file (icon) appears in that area and it should be a thumbnail of the image. Somehow I can't locate the drop down menu taht permits me to make that selection. I think it has something to do with my files being able to open in Windows Live Photo Gallery when right clicking and select Open. Is the drop down menu only available in Windows 7?

How can I get the drop down window for a ID and P/W "Always remember" Auto Fill

Recently I had a mail issue with my ATT (Yahoo) Mail account and they temporarily changed by Password.
After the issue was resolved I changed it back but the auto fill kept the temporary Password in Safari when I log onto my e-mail account via the internet instead of the Apple Mail program.
In the Past, whenever I would put a different P/W or ID there would be a drop down window that said :
Never, later or Always remember", at least something like that terminology.
Since I have had no reason to change P/W or ID lately I do ot know if it is Lion issue or if there is a way of getting the drop down to appear.

Open Safari and click on "Safari" (Next to "Find" in the top menu) and then click "Reset Safari..." Doing this will present you with a window asking you which things you'd like to clear. One of the options down at the bottom allows you to "Clear Google Searches." You can deselect all the options just leaving this one and click the "Reset" button. Presto... no more previous searches in Google.

How do I keep the drop down menu in the navigation bar open without continuously holding the mouse button down?

When I use the mouse to hover over the naviation bar, I can see it, but once I select a drop down like bookmarks, I have to continuously hold the mouse button down until I move it to the bookmark I want, then I release the mouse button to select the bookmark. Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
