How do I stop a device from accessing my iCloud information?

I no longer want a particular device to display any of my iCloud files, etc. For example, I want to remove browser settings (bookmarks, etc.) from a work computer I will no longer be using. Also, currently, if I open some iWork programs or Text Edit, my online iCloud files appear in the window at startup. How do I prevent one computer from displaying these files while others can still diplay it?

Simply go to System Preferences>iCloud (on a Mac) or the Control Panel (on Windows) and sign out. The computer will no longer access iCloud and any synced data will disappear from it. Doing this will have no effect on any other computers signed into iCloud.

Are you sending a group MMS? If so that is why. Also if others are using the same apple id as you then they will see all your imessage texts. You need to change your apple id on you device.

The me.com website is not designed for or intended to be accessed by iOS devices. Apple provides support in iOS or seperate Apps for accessing all aspects of MobileMe except for the Accounts section.
Use MobielMe as intended and you'll have no problems.

Even if you use a different browser to get access to me.com on iOS, you'll find most of it is unusable.
Other websites that present you with the mobile version have been programmed to do so by their developers. They specifically look for users accessing from 'mobile' devices and switch to the mobile site. Many such sites provide a link to go back to the 'full' site, if not, there's not a lot you can do except use a browser that can pretend not to be a mobile browser.

the post above me is a good way, but you can also do it in itunes.
when your device is plugged in, and itunes (the program) is open.
if you click on your device on the left column of itunes under the Devices heading. you'll see in the middle of itunes the Summery tab.
scroll down and you will see some options.
open itunes when this device is connected
manually mange music and videos..
etc etc.
underneath you can turn off accessibility by selecting the Configure Universal Access button
in the pop up window select neither from the options (voice over, zoom, neither)

If you can also access an Apple Store Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Center, that would be much better.

I have the OPPOSITE problem most people have -- Windows Sharing works TOO WELL.
I've donated a refurbished eMac to the local homeless shelter. I figured I'd made the system secure, and prevented any monkey business. Turns out the windows machines on the network are COMPLETELY insecure (guest access to everything is enabled). The problem is that the Mac is TOO friendly -- it automatically connects to the server as a guest, and happily presents everything to the user.
I've tried a dozen different things (I've removed the 'Shared' section from the sidebar in the Finder windows (Go->Network is still there, Doh.), tried to turn off File Sharing, and even disabled the mount_smbfs command in the /sbin directory with "chmod 0 mount_smbfs".)
I've asked the folks there to call in a PC tech and fix their security problem -- but it's a good question to which I've found no suitable answer... How to I stop the Mac from connecting to SMB Shares on the local network?

Same problem, keep getting a pop up with connection failed you do not have permission to access the server. The server is a windows 7 box, Starting happening after an up grade to windows 7. Everything that you have checked in your icloud settings will be shared between devices using the same Apple ID. If you don't want icloud to share that information, then simply turn off that process under settings > icloud

Problem is...I do NOT know the password for this "old" apple id. I haven't used this apple id in over 1 year and it "suddenly" started to show up. I was able to contact tech support and they are in the process of helping me within an email reply to "reset" my password from that old Apple id, in the next 24 hours.
