How do network a f2480 all -in-one connected to a pc running xp to a pc running windows 7 64 bit

I have enabled printer sharing on XP PC and when searching for network printer on Windows 7 PC are able to see listed the Printer but need a Driver. When trying HP's Network diagnostic wizard this dosn't seem to be able to see printer however.

On your Win7 computer, remove any previous install attempt. Then run the driver install for your computer, you can download a Win7 driver for your printer.
When it gets to the connect a USB cable screen, just put a check in the "I'm not going to connect now" box.
This will load the driver on your computer.
This time when you go to add printer and connect across the network to the shared printer, your Win7 computer should list this model and just install.

Dear All, I have a serious issue with my HP Deskjet F2480 All-in-One Colour Ink-jet - Printer / copier / scanner.The thing is that it prints BLANK PAGES. I tried everything from the manualHP Deskjet F2400 All-in-One series:

In iPhoto albums may contain photos with the same file name - iPhoto handles that just fine
If you are exporting them to move somewhere else use the sequential file name feature of export to give each file a unique name

Try Edit > Preferences > Store and untick Show iTunes in the Cloud Purchases. With luck it should be OK if you turn it on again.

I know we have an all-in-one G3 with a dead battery. Where can I go to find out how to get into an all-in-one and change the battery? I have changed the battery in desktop G3.

The battery sits near the end of the sound card, in a little black holder. It is 3.6 Volts, 1/2 the length of AA battery. Radio Shack carries them because they sell an alarm system that uses them (they do not care that it fits in a Mac).
To remove the cover on the little black holder, you must apply pressure outward along its length. This appears to be impossible, but a very slender object such as a jeweler's screwdriver can be inserted just inside the end to apply outward pressure and release the cover.
To access the "works in a drawer", you first need to check for the four retaining screws -- above and below the PCI slot covers and in symmetrical locations on the other side. Once these screws are removed, use the handle-shaped indentation in the plastic below the built-in Display port to pull the drawer open. Sometimes it puts up quite a fight, but it will slide open.
You will be looking at the connectors-side of the motherboard (opposite the way MacGurus draws them) The battery is in the side far away from you, in line with the sound card.

If you ever need to remove the drawer completely (which is very helpful for some more involved servicing), there are only 4 cables that must be disconnected. If you place your hands under the drawer you can release the latches that keep it from sliding all the way out by accident.

I see by your post that you are having issues with the print spooler on the Windows 7 computers.
I can help you with this issue.
Download and run the Print and Scan Doctor. It will diagnose the issue and might automatically resolve it. Find and fix common printer problems using HP diagnostic tools for Windows?
Try running the Microsoft Fix It Tool to see if it will fix the print spooler.
Diagnose and repair Windows File and Folder Problems automatically.
You can also run the System File Checker to repair corrupted or missing files.
System File Checker: Run sfc /scannow & analyze its logs in Windows 7 | 8.
You might end up having to do a repair of Windows.

I'm having the same incredibly frustrating problem. I have 50-60 GBs of music and now literally ALL OF A SUDDEN most of my mp3s won't play in iTunes. Of the songs that do play, many of them sound garbled (almost as if you were listening to them underwater). As others have noted, the songs do in fact play properly in other media players (VLC, MPC, WMP, etc).
I feel like I've tried just about everything but I can't seem to fix the problem. Nor have I been able to find any viable solutions after hours of scouring the internet. Here is a list of the steps I've taken so far, in chronological order:
1. Closed/re-opened iTunes
2. Re-booted computer
3. Uninstalled/re-installed iTunes
4. Tried deleting songs from iTunes library and then re-adding them, but after dropping files into the library they don't show up at all, iTunes refuses to import them
5. Downgraded from iTunes 8 to iTunes 7
None of these things have helped at all and I am amazed that even after completely uninstalling iTunes 8 and then installing version 7 I'm still experiencing the same problem. And, on top of things, I've found that iTunes 7 is not recognizing the ID3 tags for many of the songs it does import.
My apologies for the length of this post. I just want to be specific and provide as much info as I can so that maybe we can find a solution to this thing.

Any help would be extremely appreciated as I have spent several days trying to figure this out with not much prevail! My product installation said installed properly. Blue wireless light is on in front of printer. Shows onine and ready in printers and devices on control panel. For quite a few days I could get it to print from PC but not take advantage of wireless features. I could not set up web services as it gave me an error saying "no connection". FINALLY!!!... by setting up a manual I.P. in network settings for the printer I was able to set up web services. I installed iPrint on my Android and that works wonderful. However, I cannot print from email. When I open ePrint it still shows offline. When I open my network map it shows my printer at the bottom of the page and says "The following discovered device can not be placed in the map." I have run all the diagnostics and all come out successful. The network diagnostic kept saying my McAfee was blocking the printer. I've read and read and reread the directions on how to solve this. Thought I've allowed all HP permissions and ports and still McAfee blocks my printer. When I disable McAfee network diagnostic completes successful. However, with McAfee disabled, I still have the other troubles. And now the diagnostic for network will not even open it shuts down with an error unable to finish program. I am running Windows 7. I have the wireless printer installed with no USB. I have a DSL cable and a Linksys router. If someone can please help me. I bought this thing along with new computer 2nd week in Feb. and have not been able to get it working properly and am ready to tell HP to take it away!! I haven't even been able to enjoy my new computer with all this installing - reinstalling - reading forums - talking with tech support. THANK YOU!!!!

Is your windows up to date (do WIndows Update over and over until there are no more) and your McAfee up to date? This seems like a Windows or HP software thing to me.
I assume uninstalling and reinstalling does not do the trick?

Click Info and make your changes.
Tip: If you’re changing the same information (for example, the genre) for multiple items, you can select all the items and change the information for them at the same time.
