How do following buttons that appear on top of the SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) "Create Maintenance Order" (Tcode : IW31) works?
1) Release
2) Put in process
3) Schedule
4) Determine costs
5) Settlement rule
6) Permits

Dear Abraham,
When the order attains the status REL then it means that the order is under process.
This status will allow you to withdraw materials from the warehouse.
Schedule:
Normally we schedule the orders in PM which come under preventive maintenance.Here for each activity(daily,weekly,monthly...)
we create a maintenance plan.This plan is then scheduled.At certain interval of time system will create the maintenance objects.
Determine cost:
If there are components added in the order.System will update the planned cost of these materials when you click on determine cost.
Settlement rule:
Here you define the account assignment which will accept the settled cost at the end of order processing.
This can be a cost center,order etc.
Permits:
It is a sort of an agreemnet which you have before you close the order.Check this link for further insights.

From the menu bar, select Extras->Adjust Template->List Viewer,
This will give you the existing statndard gui status of the program*
->Then catch that function codes in the User command Parameter of the Function module Reuse.. i.e,

And make a subroutine of the name 'COMM'i.e,
FORM comm USING ucomm LIKE sy-ucomm selfield TYPE slis_selfield.

I have to deactivate the functionality of some of the function keys(Buttons) on Std. SAP RF Screen(Quant screen) of LM51 transaction (Pgm: SAPLLMOB & Screen# 0152). How can I achieve this. I appreciate if any one can guide me on this.

Try this out with Transaction Variant (T.code is SHDO)
Transaction SHD0 - Create a variant for the required transaction bychanging the layout through hiding fields and screens
The Below data i copied from the web, this may helpyou ...
Case one for creating Transaction Variants
Step 1:
Execute transaction SHD0 and create a Transaction Variant against the original transaction.
Step 2:
As soon as you press the create button, the original screen of the transaction will appear. After pressing any button/tab on the screen a menu variant screen will appear. Make sure to check any field or tab or any button you want to disappear from the menu functions. Press the exit and save button when you are sure that no further settings are required on sub-screens (if present). After pressing the exit and save button another menu variant screen will appear. Press the save button here and save as a local object or under any development class.
Step 3:
When you are back on the Transaction Variant (SHD0) screen, press shift+F6 or click the goto menu and press the create variant transaction button. Through this transaction SE93 will be executed. Enter the transaction name you want to create and any other required field and now press the save button.
Step 4:
Now execute the transaction you create through create Transaction Variant and enjoy the results.
Case two for creating Transaction Variants
Step 1:
Create a dialogue transaction through SE93 and enter the program name and screen number of the original transaction you want to make a variant on (e.g., PFCG). Press the save button and check whether the replica transaction (PFCG) has been created successfully by executing it on a new session.
Step 2:
Execute transaction SHD0 to create a Transaction Variant. Specify the transaction name (replica of PFCG) which you have just created and create a Transaction Variant against the replica transaction.
Step 3:
As soon as you press the create button, the original screen of the transaction will appear. After pressing any button/tab on the screen a menu variant screen will appear. Make sure to check any field or tab or any button you want to disappear from the menu functions. Press the exit and save button when you are sure that no further settings are required on sub-screens (if present). After pressing the exit and save button another menu variant screen will appear. Press the save button here and save as a local object or under any development class.
Step 4:
When you are back on the main screen of the SHDO (Transaction Variant) click the edit option on the menu tab and activate Standard Variant. Through this a Standard Variant will be assigned to the transaction specified (replica transaction).

How to set value for radio button in sap crm survey suite

I created a survey in CRM Service, in which I added a question with answer as '10 Selection Button Group ('radio button'). And answer has 11 answer options (which means 11 radio buttions). Now when we test the survey, the value for the radio buttons is appearing like 'id_0050569b03091ee480a29d8ee61e953c'. But i want to set a specific value for each radion button (from 1 to 11). So, how to set value for radio button in sap crm survey suite???.

I found solution myself. Click on Goto -> Editing Mode -> Expert Mode. Now you can set value for radio button.

DWMX ... How do I call the function prc_SendEmail() written
in VBScript above the head ... the following is the best I can do

So are you saying you have variable1 holding a date e.g. 1/1/2015 and variable 2 holding a number of months e.g. 7?
If so in your mapping expression just use the date functions available to your (stage/target) database technology and substitute the variable into the function
i.e. for Oracle your mapping would be ADD_MONTHS(#Variable1, #Variable2)

Could someone please explain the functions of the two buttons : 'Check Indicator' & 'Proposal' in the screen reached after entering trans. SU24, then selecting for the 'Application' tab 'Transaction' for the 'Type of Application' box and a valid transaction code for the 'Transaction Code' box, then pressing F8, as the online help of sap.help.com seems to explain this screen of older releases, as per the URL :

I created a new KM Discussions iView , At this iView there is a delete all topics button. Clearly, I don't want to allow users to delete other people posts, not talking about all the posts. So, I need to remove this button.How do I do that?
Perhaps I need to define this user as a participant and not as a moderator. How do I do that?
First I must emphasize the fact that I dont need KM Discussion Groups iview .
Now,I created a sub folders A under the Discussions folders in KM Content, and created a KM Discussion iview to link to this folder .I give read permissions on the folder A to a test user that I don't want him to see the delete button. But when the user enter the iview,he still have this button.
I find a bizarrerie phenomenon.If I created a KM navigation iview using this folder A. Then when the user enter the iview,he choose the details > collaboration > discussion, this button delete all topics is not exist.Although The this way is effective,but I need user open the discussions interface by entering the KM discussion iview directly .
Please tell me what should I do?

I know that if the user does have the appropriate permissions he is not able to delete discussions.

There are three user IDs in various SAP clients.
1. SAP* (Client 000 and 001)
SAP* denotes the default super user and has all administrative powers.
2. DDIC (Client 000 and 001)
DDIC user is responsible for the maintenance of the ABAP/4 Dictionary and the software logistics.
3. EarlyWatch (Client 066)
The EarlyWatch user has access only to monitoring and performance data.

Did you try to reset by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes back again?
Does it work with headphones plugged in? If yes, did you try to play music in headphone mode, then unplug during playback and start playing music again after that?
If you toggle the volume, can you see the slider moving up or down?

              Pls give me what are the pre- requisite to set the deletion flag.
              I want to set deletion flag to some Maintenance Orders which are with notification, but deletion flag - SET,RESET Indiacaors are inactive.
              Following are my observations-
              1) Order is not yet released.
              2) No actual Cost is with the order.
              3) No PR and POs are with the Order.
Pls guide me.

How to modify functionality of skin buttons in Flash

I am using Captivate 4. I am creating some practice activities that need a Show Hint button and a Do It For Me button. I've modified 2 of the original buttons in the Coolblue skin provided by Captivate 4, and now need to modify their functionality. Here is what my modified skin looks like when I run it in my Captivate project:
The Do it for Me button is just another Next button, so I can handle that using the same code used in the Forward button. My problem is the Show Hint button, which should show/hide specific hidden Text Captions (that I have placed in the Captivate slides and tagged with variable names) on mouseOver/mouseOut events or onClick.
How can I accomplish this using the button in the skin?. I am a graphic designer and don't have a lot of programming skills. Can one of the brilliant Flash/Captivate folks that visit this site point me in the right direction? Any info/help will be much appreciated.

I've come up with a bit of a crazy solution but believe it will accomplish what you wish and resolve all your problems!
The image you inserted into your first post, the one of the customized playbar you're trying to configure with Flash, create it as a jpg exactly as you wish it to appear. Insert it at the bottom of every slide in your presentation, add click boxes around the buttons, then configure their properties to accomplish exactly what you wish. You can even set it all up on the first slide then simply copy and paste the image and all click boxes at once to the remainder of the slides.
For the rewind button set the click box to "go to first slide". Set play to "continue". Back and forward set as "jump to previous" and "jump to next" and so on...
Everything you're trying to do is very easy within the Captivate project utilizing click boxes. By setting it up this way it will appear as though the user is using the Flash playbar and they'll never know the difference. Once set up, go to the project menu, skin editor, and remove the actual playback controls.
Even your last post, asking about jumping ahead 2 slides instead of one, can easily be accomplished by setting that button/click box to "jump to slide" then entering the correct slide number.
I know this isn't what you've asked for, but sometimes thinking outside the box is the only way to accomplish what we desire as software doesn't always work the way we'd hope!
