Atleast an idea how to solve this problem

Use "array size" (array palette) followed by "multiply array elements" (numeric palette)
(Works also equally well for 3D arrays and higher)
For a 1D array, just use "array size".

How do I find the total size of all my Music in iTunes 11?

I'm looking to get a new iPod, either a nano or Touch, so I'm trying to find the total size of all of my Music. Since iTunes 11's interface is so different from previous versions, I don't see a way to view that.

Ctrl B to show top menu
View Show Status Bar to show the grey bar at the bottom with the info you want.
While your there View> Show Sidebar and see if you prefer that.

I'm in the process of creating some "gee whiz" metrics for one of my applications and want to find the total number of columns contained in its database. Is there a stored procedure to get this information that would save me the effort

Assumes SQL 2005 or higher
Let 's try simple one ....
SELECT COUNT(col.column_name), col.table_name
FROM information_schema.columns col
JOIN information_schema.tables tbl
ON tbl.table_name = col.table_name
AND tbl.table_schema = col.table_schema
AND tbl.table_catalog = col.table_catalog
AND tbl.table_type = 'VIEW'
GROUP BY col.table_name

How can I find the total number of songs in my iTunes library?

I just downloaded the new itunes. In the previous itune library at the bottom of the screen it told me how many songs I have total. Not just purchased, but how many total songs were in my library. I liked knowing this because I could verify my ipod was synced up properly. Sometimes a song wouldn't download from my computer to my ipod, and by knowing how many songs were in the library, it was a double check.
This song count is gone now with this new itune version. There no bar at the bottom of my screen that shows me song count and I've gone through all the settings and can't figure out how to know this without manually counting the songs. Any help is appreciated.

In the top menu, you can choose 'view', and subsequently 'show status bar'. This shows the information on the bottom of the window.

I scrolled to the bottom of the music listing to no avail. I clicked on the various tabs, i.e., file, view, edit, etc., also without success. The only way I was able to find the information was to print-out the first page of the list of songs from the file menu. I couldn't find anything help from apple.com/support or the web. Is there another/easier way?

I have a book that consists of 10 different files and many many different text boxes. I need to find out what the total word count is for the entire book. Is there a simple way to do this, or do I have to copy and paste all the text from InD into a word file to get the number? Your help is much appreciated.

How do I find the total time (number of hours) my computer has been used?

I am not looking for battery cycles or idle time but time in actual use. I'm curious for a number of reasons. Anyone have any idea how to figure this out?

I do not know of any other place that records operating times of the MBP. Look for third party applications.

When you plotted to the graph you passed an array of data to it. Or you passed one point at a time to it. Basically what Chris is saying is that you need to retain this data somewhere and count the number of points plotted.

Just for fun (and in case this wasn't done to death in the other thread), the rule posted here states:
Most years have 365 days, but a leap year has 366 days. That adds up to 52 weeks (where each week is exactly 7 days) PLUS 1 or 2 additional days. Hi rajesh,
You can use SU10, then click on "Authorization data" -> put * on user -> execute.. you should get a list of all users in the client with details included...
Also you can list them using USMM and check all licensed users....
Also SUIM -> users by complex selection criteria -> By user id -> put * on user -> execute.

You can restore much of the look & feel of the previous version with these shortcuts:
Ctrl-B to turn on the menu bar.
Ctrl-S to turn on the sidebar.
Ctrl-/ to turn on the status bar.
Click the magnifying glass top right and untick Search Entire Library to restore the previous search behaviour.
You can also open the menu bar temporarily by pressing Alt.
To roll back to iTunes 10.7 first download a copy of the 32 bit installer or 64 bit installer as appropriate, uninstall iTunes and supporting software, i.e. Apple Application Support & Apple Mobile Device Support. Reboot. Restore the pre-upgrade version of your library database as per the diagram below, then install iTunes 10.7.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to scan the media folder and catch up with any changes made since the backup file was created.

I cannot update Adobe new items since the box window told me that there were no spaces from my computer. Who can teach me how to find the extra spaces from my computer? The only reason I have any space now is because the music that I had downloaded and synced onto my phone from iTunes I had to take it all off. I would really really love to be able to put my music back onto my iPhone. Currently I'm using apps like Spotify, AOLradio, and MusicTube to listen to music. Also to add to my original question: is what I'm asking even a possibility??? Meaning is there even a way to get more usage space? Or do I have to just continue to work within the confines that apple has preset on the phone?
