How do we define Multi Level Catagorization For Service Tickets in IC WEB Clients for CRM 5.0.

Hi
You can user multi level categorzation using the category modler PCUI application.
you can access transaction code crmc_pcuitools tcode from GUI and type ERMS CAT* and execute then you will get the category modler pcui screen . then you can create the new schema for  your service ticket transaction which can be view in ic webclient 5.0 .
category modler will provide the option of creating the schema where you define the node and subnodes and you can assign the subject profile under the application level and codes can be assigned to each of the label you define for your dropdown values which will be appeared  in the ic webclient service ticket transaction type.
categoru modler schema once defined needs to be activated inorder to see the dropdown values in the multilevel categorization fields of ic webclient service ticket view header . you need to give the future date and time  in order to activate the schema .
after defining the schema and activating you can see the dropdown field labels in the ic webclient what you have defined in the category schema.
upto 4 levels only categorization can be maintained or allowed in schema.

    It is not like service PO does not have revision.
    REVNO will only exists for any document if amendment is made after releasing it. If in EKKO for all service PO revision number is blank then test if version management is active for document type
    MM->Purchasing->Version management -> External documents
    Here check for your doc type and purchase org version management is active.

    You can get it done by development to determnie the support team , other tan org model settings
    1.Develop the z table which will allow to maintain Sold to Party, Component, Support team
    2. Implement the Badi for which will read the sold to party and component from the ticket and look in to ztable and fetch the corresponding support team and audate the support team feald in ticket.For this to take help of ur Abaper
    3. For this to call the BADI have to confgure the actions with method call.

  • Inbound for Service ticket creation

    Dear all,
    An inbound FM being triggered for Service ticket creation which those info are coming from legacy system.
    My requirement is, at the end of the inbound processing, i need to send back the newly created SAP ticket number back to legacy.
    I found that during the Inbound FM execution, it just hold a new GUID where the actual ticket number has not been determined/populated yet (i noticed, actual SAP ticket number will only be populated after the execution of Inbound FM). For this case, i can not get the new SAP ticket number send back to legacy during the Inbound processing.
    Do you have any ideas on how can i get the newly created SAP ticket number during the Inbound FM execution?

      I can enhance  0HRPOSITION_ATTR to include  Number of hours per month & Number of Hours per Week (WKAVG & MOVAG).
    My last question is which object (Employee,Position,Job) do i need to enhance
    for  PA0007: WOSTD( Hours per week) - It will be used to calculate STAFF FTE

    Have you already customized Copy Control for your Service Order? If you want to add other transaction types the setting is necessary.
    The customizing path is shown as below.

      -> Transactions
        -> Basic Settings
          -> Copying Control for Business Transactions
            -> Define Copying Control for Transaction Types

    Actually, I find a User Exit program ("EXIT_SAPLMLSP_011") in selection screen program ("SAPLMLSP" ). This User Exit is for the radio button ("Other sources").
    However, I don't know how to activate that button at ME22N.
    By the way, can you go more details on how screen exits work?

    I want to use the KM Search iView to display all documents from the currently logged on user in a certain sort order. The result should be some kind of report for the user...
    In the search option I can define a default sort order. And I can also define it for a special user with cm_modifiedby(value=username)
    But how can I define the predefined property value generically for the current user?
    I tried to insert following values in the parameter Predefined Properties of the search option:
    Predefined Properties (csv): cm_modifiedby(value=<user.id>)
    Predefined Properties (csv): cm_modifiedby(value=%user.id%) -> like in the predefined properties
    Predefined Properties (csv): cm_modifiedby(value=$sap_user) -> like in the xml forms builder
    But non of these 3 parameters worked. Has anybody an idea what the right variable is?

    1. First of all you need to use "<User.UserID>" to get the currently logged on user.
    2. You need to create an AppIntegrator iView (so based on com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap.Generic) in order to be able to use this dynamical parameter. The parameter "URL template" should look like:
    <Request.Protocol>://<Request.Server>/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.basicsearch?layoutSetMode=exclusive&ResourceListType=com.sapportals.wcm.SearchResultList&SearchType=quick&rndLayoutSet=SearchResultLayoutSet&SearchCompsName=UISearchComponents&QueryString=*&SelectedCustomProps=cm_modifiedby(value=<User.UserID>)

  • How to send phone to Blackberry for service?

    My husband has had his phone for some time now but has always had problems with it staying charged.  He does not use it nearly enough to warrant it dying so quickly (they aren't allowed to use their phones on site)  Back when I had a BB curve I had the same problem.  My phone would be fully charged when I left for work at 7am and by 11am it would be dead just sitting in my locker.  I sent my phone back and they sent me a brand new one as it was the phone and not the battery that was the problem.  I suspect the same thing is happening with my husbands phone as he has 3 different batteries and none of them stay charged even without use.    
    The internet/BB site says to contact our service provider but we did not get our phones from our service provider.  We own them outright and purchased them directly from Blackberry as my Dad worked for them.  How do I send a phone back to BB for service that came directly from BB?!  We cannot find this information anywhere.

    At Suppliers site:
    Invoice Amount Limit. If you enter an invoice for a supplier site that exceeds the invoice amount limit you specify, Payables applies an Amount hold to the invoice during Invoice Validation. You cannot pay the invoice until you release the hold. You can release the hold by adjusting the invoice amount, changing the Invoice Amount Limit for the supplier site, or you can manually release the hold in the Holds tab of the Invoice Workbench.

  • CRM 5.0 - IC WebClient - Due Date - Working Hours for Service Ticket

    Hi Gurus
    We're using a Service Ticket Transaction which has a Date Profile which provides a 48 Hour window for which the user must complete the Service Ticket Resolution.
    The issue is I want to tie this up to the Business working Hours. I just cannot figure out where I define the Business Working Hours.
    This is a Standalone CRM Implementation. Maximum points for the right answer.

    The response time of 48 Hours must be maintianed in response profile... right?
    Similarly there is a availability profile in which you maintain the business hours/ availablity of your resources.
    These both together make a service profile.
    The availability profile is maintained in SAP Easy Access> Service> Service Contracts and Service Plans --> CRMD_SERV_SLA - Maintain Availability and Response Times

    Hi,
    The Service Ticket itself is Service Order. The difference between them is that the Service Ticket does not have Item Category which is present in the Service Order.
    Between your transaction code maintian the copy controls.
