Service Order as follow up document for Service Ticket

Hi,
we are using CRM 2005 and the IC-Webclient for the service callcenter.
Is it somehow possible to create a service order as follow up document out of a service ticket in IC-Webclient?
Thanks a lot.
Best regards
Manfred

Hi,
The Service Ticket itself is Service Order. The difference between them is that the Service Ticket does not have Item Category which is present in the Service Order.
Between your transaction code maintian the copy controls.
Hope it helps.

Rajiv

  • Proceeding document for service order

In the case of recall/upgrade for service industry, product service letter can be created as a proceeding document for service order. I used to 0CRM_SRV_PROCESS_H for the service order. The BI content ODS for service order header is 0CRM_PROH. It contains an infoObject for proceeding document 0CRM_PREDOC. But it is not mapped in the transformation.
    I have 2 questions:
    1. which source field should 0CRM_PREDOC be mapped to?
    2. is it possible to include produce service letter in regular service order? The object type for produce service letter is BUS2000210. I noticed only BUS2000116 (service order) is being extracted via 0CRM_SRV_PROCESS_H.
    Thanks,

    Madhu,
I am sure you can create a follow-up transaction from a Service ticket to Service Order, All you have to make sure is the setting in IMG for Follow-up are active and right.

Have you already customized Copy Control for your Service Order? If you want to add other transaction types the setting is necessary.
The customizing path is shown as below.
    SPRO
    -> CRM
      -> Transactions
        -> Basic Settings
-> Copying Control for Business Transactions
-> Define Copying Control for Transaction Types

  • Delivery Document for Services

    Hello Experts,
I have a scenario which I am looking for an SAP solution. My client provides consultancy services and bills customers for it. At the beginning of the contract, customer gives a letter of intent (LOI) which authorised commencement of work. After work is completed, the customers signs a job completion form/service entry sheet, which is the basis on which the client can invoice the customer for the hours/days spent. Thinking along OTC, it looks to me that the  LOI could represent a sales order, but I am looking for a document to represent the job completion form/service entry sheet. Can we have a delivery document for services? Is there any other document that can perform the same function as delivery in this scenario? I think there has to be another document after the sales order that will represent the actual hours/days spent on the job which the invoice can reference in billing the client.
    Thanks for your prompt help.

Its part of Customer Service. And widely know as After Market.
Is very much integrated with SD as well as PS.
DP90 csan be used by PS & SD both.
Whereas, if your refer DP90, its purely based on Sales Document.
Refer following SAP Help link for reference/understanding:

Also refer, SAP Note 301117 - Enhanced documentation for dynamic item processor (DIP).
As DIP profile(TCode ODP1) is the critical part of RRB configuration.

  • Service Order, Confirmation, Follow up

    Hi All,
Service Order, Confirmation, Follow up... can someone breif me about these terms
    Thanks, Sudeep..

Service Order Management Process goes like this..
    1. Service Quotation - where a quotation will be created with Product (Installed Base) and SLA-Service Level Agreement (ex: Onsite repair or Inhouse repair). Quoatation will be sent to Customer.
    2. Service Order - Once Customer agrees for Quotation Service Order will be created with ref to Quotation.
    3. You Assign Service Items to Service Employees for repair.
    4. Service Confirmation - Service Employee will visit Customer Location to repair the Service Items and later creates a service confirmation document.
    5. Service Order Invoice - will be create based on Time and Material Data.

  • Scoping Question on follow-up documents for Sales Quotes

One of the scoping questions in the "Integration into Sales, Service, and Marketing Processes" in the Customer Quotes section asks:
"Do you want to create follow-up documents for sales quotes from your cloud solution to an external application?"
See screenshot with the arrow cursor below:
What follow-up documents is this referring ?
Would be related to creating Sales Orders in the ERP ?
What other followup documents could there be ?  The Help text was not very clear.

    Hi Tim,
On creating the sales quote in C4C, request can be triggered to ERP system for Sales Order Request.
Once Sales Order gets created in the ERP system, 'Sales Order Request' and 'Sales Order' documents can be captured in C4C.

  • Service order as followup document for service order

    HI gurus,
Can a service order be created as a followup for service ticket. The call agent creates a service ticket for a channel partner. The channel partner should open the service ticket and create a followup document service order for the service ticket.
Can we create a followup document which has the leading business transaction category same as the preceeding document.
    Thanking u, Madhu.

    Madhu,
I am sure you can create a follow-up transaction from a Service ticket to Service Order, All you have to make sure is the setting in IMG for Follow-up are active and right.

  • Create Follow-up document from Service Contract automatically while saving

    Hi,
In CRM 4.0, under the Service secnario, Service Data for Service Contract is related to --
    1. Interval value
    2. Period
Based on these parameter values how to generate the corresponding follow up documents automatically while saving the parent doucment(i.e Service Contract).
For ex, Interval = 6 , Period = 36, then all the 6 docs should be genarated at once while saving the Service Contract.
    Please Advice.
    Regards
    Deb

    Hi
Yes , manually executing the Action through PPF.
But the requirement is to generate the subsequent docs at once while saving the Service Contract i.e the corresponding Action should also triggered automatically.
    Please Advice.
    Regards
    Deb

  • Not more than one service order against same sales document item

A service order gets created against the sales order item as per
standard SAP process. As credit management is active, when the order
is under credit block  for the customer the service order gets created only after the
    credit block is released.
On revising the order line value the sales document goes for a block
again. Service order is locked. Both seem to be logical.
But on releasing the credit block  this time ,  it creates one more service order against the same sales order item. Would logically expect the service order is
unlocked on release from credit block.
Can u pls explain this behavior ??  How do u avoid a new order creation and unlocking of the service order when the credit block is released.
Would like to avoid any change in the service order status once it has been created irrespective of subsequent credit status of the sales order.
    regards
    Ramanujam

    Hi  lisa ,
It is not possible to enter more than one service performer for a service in sales order .
But you can  perform the service with two people and have two service confirmations.
The time entered in service confirmation will be reflected in invoice only(if time and material).
Also you cannot enter the time sheet with respect to sales order , it is only valid for project task and
    and time types.

    Harish

  • Not showing transactions for creating follow up transaction for service tic

    Hi,
I created copy copy control settings for transactions for service ticket.initially i created service ticket and saved the document.after that i clicked on follow up button and i am trying to selct transactions.but i am not able to see any transactions in drop down list for creating floow up transactions.
i am able to see in gui but i am not able to see in ic
    Thanks & Regards
    Kishore Kumar

You need to do also this:
    1. Activate Copying Control of Activities
CRM - Transactions - Settings for Activities - Activate Copying Control of Activities
This will cause that only transactions defined in your Business Transaction Profile are visible in dropdown list.
    and...
    2. Define Copying Control of Transaction Types
CRM - Transactions - Basic Settings - Copying Control of Transaction Types - Define Copying Control of Transaction Types
Here select Source Transaction and choose Target Transaction.
    Save and it's done.

  • Order Related Intercompany business process for Service material

    Hi
I am looking for some info on Intercompany Business Process for service material - Order related.
I have created Sales order (ZBOR) copied from standard sales order (TA / OR), a billing document (ZIVA) copied from IVA, an item category (ZTAD) copied from TAD standard.
A material type used is DIEN (Services).
Note 63459 indicated that I have to use a copy requirement 613 for item category ZTAD. The copy requirement 613 was created by copying requirement 013 according to the attached reference.
I did the same according to the note. When I tried to create first billing document i.e. to end customer, its fine.
When I create second billing document i.e. intercompany billing, its going to first pricing procedure and end customer as Payee, which should not happen. Rather it should go to intercompany pricing procedure (ICAA01) and to Internal customer as payee.
Can someone guide me how to solve this issue?

when i run intercompany billing (ZIVA), it goes to copy control routines 613 , buts its picking end customer pricing procedure and payee as end customer , not picking intercompany pricing procedure and internal customer as Payee.
I am not sure what to do with 613 routinees as suggested by OSS note. All is i created this 613 copying from 13.
Do i need to develop the logic of picking correct intercompany pricing procedure i.e ICAA01 , and need to get the right payee and some header information in this 613 routine . which means automatic pricing procedure determination is not done using customization in Order related Intercompany billing . Am i right to understand?
Please suggest me how do i solve this issue.
Please send it to my [email protected] email too.

  • Invoice Posting with two accounting documents for Service PO

    Hi Gurus,
We have created one service (GR based Invoice verification) PO for which we have assigned a costcenter which has been created for different company code(rather than what company code we have mentioned in PO).
Now during Invoice creation out of 6 invoice entries only one Invoice has been created with two accounting documents for two different company codes, when we found this and canceled the same only basic entries has been reversed.
I just wanted to know how this single invoice has been created with two different accounting documents for two different company codes.
Please guide me in this regard.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Ravindra C.M

    Hi Aasif,
Thanks for your reply, if that would have been case then each Invoice created for that PO should have two accounting documents but out of 6 invoice created only one invoice has been created with two accounting documents.
I am completely agree with you that it has posted as inter-company transfer but why only one invoice has been created with two accounting documents.
In addition to the above I just wanted to know if for GR-based invoice verified PO if we create a Invoice before creating service entry sheet whether two accounting documents will be created as we have mentioned different company code costcenter.
Please guide me in this regard.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Ravindra C.M
