How do you programmatically switch between a stack plot and an overlay plot with a waveform control?

One method i realize is to have two waveform controls, one visible and one not visible. The real issue here is, how to dynamically control the number of plots in a stacked plot. My case,
i will have between 2 and 8 channels. I have found that in the properties if i set the number of plots - Legend--Plots shown . I can control the number of stack plots, however, i must toggle from overlay to stack plots in design mode for the correct number of stack plots to be shown. Does anyone know a way around this problem or know of the property that has alluded me?

You cant select between Stack plot and Overlay programmatically. Well not in LaBVIEW 5.1.1.
You could have two Charts, one set up for Overlay and the other setup for Stacked. Then hide the one you are not immediately using.

How do you add space between the Series Name and the chart?

I'm trying to format a 3D pie chart and the series name is nearly unreadable depending on the angle. I would like to add some space between the series name and the chart.

On my charts, I just select the legends and drag them away from the chart. Hopefully this example helps:

I Have read the manual. Tried iCloud, options in iBooks and airdrop. Can't seem to do it. I finally emailed the PDFs to myself. i don't want to email all my PDFs to myself. There must be a better way.

I store things like PDFs in a DropBox account. They're then accessible from pretty much any device. On my iPad, I use PDF Expert for viewing and editing PDFs.

How can I programmatically remove a selection of plots from a waveform graph?

I have a waveform graph to display a number of plots, which I need to programmatically add and delete to as selections of data are chosen by the user for display.
I've looked under the VI Server Property node and cannot see anything suitable for adding extra plots, or removing existing plots. I expected to see a Plot Data array variable, with each element containing the data for each of the plots on the graph. There is such an array for the annotations, which I can easily edit by Removing Subset for Array, or Insert into Array, but nothing for the plot data. The Value property is a Variant, which I'm unsure how to handle. Should I be working with this perhaps? Can this be done by creating a Local Variable read node? Or am I missing something simple here??

I was trying to use the Property Node (Value) to read the waveform graph, but I was getting a Variant type back, not a 2D array of DBLs as I expected. Turns out I was passing the graph control reference to a subvi whose control refnum had the Include Type flag unchecked. As a result of this explicit definition, Value was of an uncertain (undefined) type and couldn't be natively provided. It would have had to have been cast into a more specific type to work. Have solved the problem by ensuring all my references are of a strict type, and now (as you recommend) the Property Node (Value) is useful

Remove borders from stacked plot with 64 channels

Hello,
I am looking for a way to compact my display for 64 channel of data. Is there a way to remove/reduce the border between the stacked plots in a waveform chart? It would be awesome if I could each plot area right on top of the other. It would be even better if I could have them overlap a bit as well.
I don't necessarily need to see each plot clearly, the important part is just being able to see if an individual channel has very high noise compared to it's neighbors.
programatic solutions would be great as well because there will be times when only some of the channels will need to be viewed.
I included a picture of my current stacked plot layout. Basically more border than plot.

Hi honglyshin,
As it turns out there is a way to essentially merge the plots. On the plot itself, if you move your mouse to the far right side of a plot, you can drag its upper right corner up(ensure the double-ended expand arrow is oriented with the left side down and the right side up to ensure your have the correct corner) to meet the plot above it. There doesn't appear to be a way to do this programmatically, but dragging the plot corner to meet the plot above it seems to work.

The Kindle app has a menu on the very bottom center of the screen that allows you to switch from a device and cloud view. To remove a title from the device, tap and hold on it. a pop menu will apear that allows to add the title to a collection, remove it from the device, or download it from the cloud (depending on its current status).

Command Tab will switch between the two desktops. If you don't quit Windows beofre closing Fusion you are suspending Windows. IMHO this isn't as clean as closing it. I have found closing Windows before closing Fusion makes my system more stable.

No you do not need separate Apple ID's in order to use 3 devices with one Apple ID. I use 4 devices to Message and FaceTime and all use the same Apple ID. You do need to add additional email addresses for the other devices.

I'd like to create an action that will automatically re-order the layers so that the text field is accessible when typing but covered when writing by hand. Then, I'd like the opposite to be available, so that the text field is accessible when typing, but the drawing pad is left alone.

of datasources. 6.1 does.
