How do I convert a pdf file into a word doc in order to make chnages?

You need Acrobat and can then use File --> Save As... --> Microsoft Word. Just don't expect miracels. PDFs aren't meant for editing and you may end up with clumps of text and lose all formatting and may have to rebuild the document completely.

  • How do I convert a pdf file to photoshop?

how do I convert a pdf file to photoshop?

unless you understand what you're doing and why, opening .pdf in Photoshop is a very risky move
because any vector objects, including fonts, will be pixelized (rastered at the chosen document ppi)
this really sucks if the designer delivered a professionally packaged PDF with vector elements because the vector will not print vector sharp
    for example
a moron at a print shop drags PDF business cards or posters into Photoshop and prints pixelized vector objects -- when you ask why the vector didn't print sharp -- they are clueless
you also may hit profile issues that change the designer's color
there must be 50 ways to ruin a project (and 25 of them are downstream)...

  • I just bought ExportPDF. How do I convert a PDF file to Word?

I just bought ExportPDF. How do I convert a PDF file to Word?

    Sara,
Apparently, I got caught in a down period of the system that handles new purchases. After a while, Export PDF did just what is was supposed to. The problem was that it didn’t know it had been paid for until the glitch was fixed, or so it seems.
The remaining problem is that while it was in the glitchy period, my profile showed no orders and no purchases. So, of course, I concluded that something went wrong when I ordered (even though I got the email confirmation), so I ordered again. Now I may get billed twice.
Is there some way to see that I’m not billed twice?
    Thanks vey much.

How to read some images from file system with webdynpro for abap?
    Thanks a lot!

    Hello Tao,
    The parameter
       icm/HTTP/file_access_<xx>
may help you to access the pictures without any db-access.
The following two links may help you to understand the other possibilities as well.
The threads are covering BSP, but it should be useful for WebDynpro as well.

  • How do I convert images to whatever icon MAc uses?

    Client: Mac OS 10.6.6
    Hi All,
I am coming from the Linux side. In Linux, if I an find an Image I like, I can use it on my desktop Icons. Format is not an issue.
    Questions:
    1) in Mac, I have found it wants a particular format. How do I convert Images (jpeg, png, bitmap, tiff, etc.) to that format?
    2) once I have the image in place, do I need to keep the image around or is it copied into the icon's hidden (in Finder) application directory?
    Many thanks,
    -T

For anybody using MacPorts, there is a port called makeicns that creates the needed .icns files from the command line.  Usage is pretty simple (from the command):
    makeicns v1.4.10 (284bd686824f)
    Usage: makeicns [k1=v1] [k2=v2] ...
    Keys and values include:
512: Name of input image for 512x512 variant of icon
256: Name of input image for 256x256 variant of icon
128: Name of input image for 128x128 variant of icon
32: Name of input image for 32x32 variant of icon
16: Name of input image for 16x16 variant of icon
in: Name of input image for all variants not having an explicit name
out: Name of output file, defaults to first nonempty input name,
             but with icns extension
      align: [center, left, right, top, bottom] {First letter suffices!}
    Examples:
      makeicns -512 image.png -32 image.png
          Creates image.icns with only a 512x512 and a 32x32 variant.
      makeicns -in myfile.jpg -32 otherfile.png -out outfile.icns
          Creates outfile.icns with sizes 512, 256, 128, and 16 containing data
from myfile.jpg and with size 32 containing data from otherfile.png.

  • HT3825 so how do you convert the raw files to jpeg in iphoto?

how do you convert the raw files to jpeg in iphoto?

    Many thanks Barbara and dj_paige.
What I didn't mention is that I'm using PSE 5 with ACR 4.6, if its relevant.  I'm thinking of updating to the next version when its out in the hope that it will run with Windows 7 64 bit or I may go to Lightroom.
I can now see that I can batch convert a whole folder of files using "process multiple files" as dj_paige suggested but that is too many at once as the settings I choose won't be relevant for all the pics in the folder.
I was hoping to batch convert say 5 or 6 similar photos at a time with the same settings. I'm not quite clear what you're suggesting but I'm hoping that its a "work round" using two stages to achieve this.
I can't see a list of open files within ACR to ensure that they are all selected as you suggest.
What does clicking Open rather than Done mean?  Does this amend the original RAW file to the settings selected so that if I then "process multiple files" on the whole folder to convert from RAW to JPEG they will in fact have already been processed in smaller groups so I can convert without applying any further changes?
If so, what settings should I apply to "process multiple files" to ensure a simple conversion of file type rather than any further adjustments?
Any further help on this would be much appreciated.
    Andrew

If your .pages file pre-exists, you can open it directly in Preview. With thumbnails enabled in Preview, you can subsequently select the page you want to export as an image.

  • How can I convert a wave file to a jpeg file (picture) is it possible???

    Hello:
How can I convert a wave file to a jpeg file (picture) is it possible???

    zuckini;
I am pretty sure you know, but just to be completely sure: a wave is (usually) sound signal and a jpeg file is an image.
If you mean how to display the wave signal in a graph and then save the graph as a jpeg file, then just drop a graph indicator in the control panel, wire the signal. Check any of the example shipped with LabVIEW on how to do this. To get the image, drop a graph indicator's invoke node in the block and select "Get Image". Check this page for detailed information.
If you have something else in mind, please reply to this message with additional information about the wave signal, the image, etc.
    Regards;
    Enrique
