How is there such a difference?

How is there such a difference of problems between the 5g 30gb, and 60gb. i thought the only difference between the two were space, but how can the 60gb have so many video issues and not the 30gb? (just been reading around to get all this info)
Plus, has there been any progression for a new update to 1.1?

ipods actually do a thing called going into "deep
sleep" when they aren't used for 36 hours. its as
close to being completely shut down as you can get
with an ipod without draining the battery completely.
when its in deep sleep and you wake it up it takes a
bit longer than when you wake it from normal sleep.
this could be what you are describing.
That makes sense, but how do you turn it on after it goes into deep sleep? I have to hold the middle button inside of just touching anything, as it turns on usually.

    Thank you for your help, but I believe my questions remains unanswered -- mainly, because my English isn't the good.
    Here's what I am asking:
    1.  I need something that is animated that blinks or flashes to alert the viewer to scroll down the page.  I would put the wording:  Scroll Down for more (and then an arrow blinks or gently moves up and down to alert the user to move down).
    2.  is there a way that the entire homepage on it's own moves downward?
    Sorry for my poor English.

    created by The Arthematics in Help with using Adobe Muse CC - View the full discussionIf I understood correctly. You can place arrows on each section of the page and use "fade-in" and "fade-out". And maybe you want this widget Anchor + – Adobe Muse Widget Directory to automatically scroll down. • How do you find the difference in no. of days between 2 dates?

    How do you find the difference in no. of days between 2 dates ?

    There are 2 way to solve this: using java.util.GregorianCalendar or java.util.Date (like jesper1 suggested), depending what kind of solution You need:
            GregorianCalendar gc1 = new GregorianCalendar(2001, 01, 01, 23, 00, 00);
            GregorianCalendar gc2 = new GregorianCalendar(2001, 01, 03, 10, 00, 00);
            // 1st way using GregorianCalendar
            int diff1 = gc1.get(GregorianCalendar.DATE) - gc2.get(GregorianCalendar.DATE);
            System.out.println("Differnce: " + diff1);
            // 2nd way using Date
            int diff2 = (int)(gc1.getTime().getTime() - gc2.getTime().getTime()) / (24 * 60 * 60 * 1000);
            System.out.println("Differnce: " + diff2);Note: There are 2 days between the given dates, but exactly 1 day and 11 hours.
    The first solution returns "-2", the second returns "-1".

  • Airplay vs. Home Sharing, is there a technical difference???

    I'm attempting to become an audiophile, or at least I can say I really enjoy listening to music. As such, all of my CD's are ripped via Apple lossless into iTunes, and then streamed to my ATV2 before the optical out sends the digital signal to my stereo.
    The ATV2 offers me (at least) two methods of listening to my music:
    1) Using homesharing - my ATV2 picks up the music when I select "Computers" and choose my homeshared iTunes library, or
    2) Using Airtunes - directly from my iMac and select my ATV2 as the destination source.
    Interestingly enough, I hear a real difference between the two methods, as method #2 will create a significant distortion in many songs, but method #1 will not, regardless the music format (lossless, 128kbps, 256kbps, etc).
    Why would this be? Is there a technical difference between method #1 and #2 above between what iTunes sends and ATV2 receives/decodes?
    Help, inquiring minds want to know!
    Thanks.

    If you lower the playback volume control in iTunes on your iMac when it is sending music via AirTunes to your ATV, can you eliminate the distortion?
    It may be that the too-high output volume from the iMac is causing "clipping" somewhere in the signal delivery chain because there is too little "headroom" for the digital audio's loudest passages to be rendered properly.
    If so, turning down the volume control in iTunes might fix it.
    Technically, if you stream the music using Home Sharing, the ATV is receiving and internally decoding the original audio file. Using AirPlay, the file is decoded by iTunes on your iMac, not on the ATV, and a digital audio output signal is generated in iTunes and sent to the ATV. If not enough headroom is present when that happens, the output signal may be clipped in loud passages. This may happen either at the point of being generated by iTunes or at some later point in the signal path.
    You may want to try using iVolume
    http://www.mani.de/ivolume/
    to make sure all your music files play at the same desirable level. This is achieved in part by turning on Sound Check in iTunes (and also on the ATV) after using iVolume on all your music tracks. Before you use iVolume to adjust the volume of your music tracks, you might want to set iVolume's Master Volume level fairly low, so as to give you undistorted AirTunes play even with the iTunes volume slider set to its maximum position.

  • How do I know the difference

    How do I know the difference between the iPad 3G and iPad 4G from outside the casing,

    Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
    The main difference between a 3rd and a 4th generation iPad is its connector. If you look at the bottom of the iPad, you will see the connector. In the 4th generation iPad, there's a Lightning connector, and in a 3rd generation iPad, a 30-pin Dock connector (as the one that you can find in old iPhones and iPods)

  • There is a difference between the document total and its components

    Hi!
    I have an error message "There is a difference between the document total and its components" when I want to create an InventoryGenEntry
    the problem arises from time to time and my customer must do the document two or three times before it is created.
    I have seen in this forum and in notes that this is probably being caused by a Rounding.
    I am using 2 digits for amounts, 4 digits for prices, 6 digits for rates and 3 digits for quantities.
    For information my customer use SAP 2005 and the patch level 46.
    This problem happened only in InventoryGenEntry. how can I modifiy parameters to resolve this problem?
    thank you for your help.
    Best Regards

    Hi Séverine,
    Do you find any additional code added to SBO_SP_Transaction stored procedure. A similar issue with stock transfer fixed in later patch. Please test in latest patch.

  • How to write such procedure?

    I have a DML trigger on a table. whenever there is a change to the table, the old records will be written to another backup table created before. I want to implement this for many tables in the database. Basically, I want a procedure that takes table name as an input and creats a backup table and a trigger for the input table.
    How to write such procedure?
    thanks.

    ...a simple block to get you started...not tested:
    declare
      t varchar2(64) := 'my_table'; --your table name as a parameter
    begin
      execute immediate 'create table '  || t || '_bck as select * from user_tables where 1 = 0';
      -- thinking you'd create the trigger on your base table, not the backup
      execute immediate 'create trigger ' || t || '_dml_trigger before delete or insert or update on ' || t || ' referencing...you get the point
    end;Hope this helps. If you're not the DBA you may want to discuss this train of thought with him/her.
    Cheers.

    And you neglected to add "for many years."
    Some of mine have acted quirky at times, but overall, never really any trouble. And never had to replace one of mine. I just take it that's because they're so complicated; just look at some of the stuff we put up with from computers and just throw up our hands and say "oh well, it's a computer, we'll probably never know why it started doing this, or stopped doing that."
    If someone is burning a lot of discs, I'd recommend an external or one built into a Mac Pro or other desktop bay.

    I didn't realize there was a difference there - here it does not matter if I call a toll free number from my landline or my cell (although the minutes are added to my monthly log on the cell).
    If I do not want them to know my number, I use Skype as it will show some anonymous junk (as long as you do not have a monthly plan with a phone number); I'd rather pay $0.02/minute than having them put my non-published number in their system.
    I use Google Voice numbers for the same reason, I can block callers (with a lovely AT&T out of service message), change my number, record calls etc as desired. I can change them at will, and they're free.

    How about this workaround buy iPad replacement camera of eBay about £6 open up your iPad remove the camera and extend the wiring out through the case to a female male connector long multi core wire solder camera to the end hay presto one fully functional external camera you will need a very large magnifier as the wiring is xxx small and of course this will void your warranty so I would suggest you do it to an old iPad 2 not your shiny new 3/4

    Not sure where these hard disk folders are located that you are referring to?  Finder, Finder tool bar, Finder side bar, Desktop, Dock?
    More then likely they are  an alias that not longer point to the orginals,  thus the question mark.
    I would reboot.  Delete icons if an alias and just recreate by dragging from the source. Try right click (control) click to remove.
