How personel information tab will appear in SRM portal

Hi Team,
I am working on SRM 7.0. Strategical sourcing.
Curretnly there is no peorsonel info tab available in SRM portal.  What needs to be done from our end to enable that tab in portal.

    Hi ,
    how to call the windows popup on SRM portal.
    For example when I hit "Check" on the shoppoing cart screen I get a popup  saying  that "Shopping cart Test has no errors and can be orderd".
    I am looking to thorw a popup which has got "yes" and "no" options ( like function module POPUP_TO_CONFIRM in GUI ) and based on the users choice the logic follows through.

    I've tried using FM BBP_PD_MSG_ADD in BADI implementation BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI but it's not working. There's always an exception LOG_NOT_FOUND.

      Any error generated from SRM will be visible in Portal view. No additional configurations or developments are required for that purpose.
    In order for messages to generate, you will ve to use BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI.
    DOC Change BADI is meant for changing the SRM application documents based on customer's own criteria.

    I've three canvases two content and one tabbed, the first content canvas contains a data block which goes to the second content canvas via pressing a button caontins GO_Block.
    I've drawed a tabbed canvas (using its specified tool) in that second content canvas but this tabbed one is appearing in both content canvases!
    I want this tabbed canvas to appear only in the second content canvas only! How Plz?

    Use SHOW_VIEW('Name of your tab_canvas') to programmatically show a canvas, use HIDE_VIEW('Name of your tab_canvas') to hide it.

    Goto SPRO and follow the following path.
    IMG -> Financial Accounting (New) -> Account Receivable and Account Payable -> Customer Account -> Master Data -> Preparations for creating customer master data -> Adoption of customers own master data fields
    Check BADI documentation  - Processing of master data enhancement  and Customer Subscreens

  • Excise tab not appearing in GR display

    Hi,
    After creating the Goods reciept, when we display the GR document the excise tab is not appearing. While creating only the excise tab appears and can enter all the excise details. But if want check the values entered in the display mode of the GR, we tab does not appear.
    Please let me know if any customising setting needs to be done so that this tab will appear in display mode also. We are on ECC 6

    As per my understanding ......
    While Doing MIGO, Excise Tab appear at header level in Excise Tab and also at Item Level.
    But when u post part1  only, then Excise Entries also found there.
    But after posting Part1 in MIGO and Part2 in J1IEX,
    while going to back MIGO Document, Exicse Does not appear there becoz u post only part1 not part2.
    u can observe there entries like this
    During GR
                                        Material Stock            Dr.
                                        GR/IR clearing                        Cr.
      During Excise Invoice Credit           
                                        Cenvat Account          Dr.
                                        Cenvat Clearing                     Cr.

  • When working on a website and I click on a function, 1, 2, or 3 additional tabs will colme up and I have to close them to get back to the task I was doing, why?

    Most of the time the unwanted tab is labeled "about blank", but when it comes up it is often a software offer or an instruction saying I am infected and need to click on this site. Another tab will appear and has a lot of numbers and characters that give no clue as to what it pertains. While working on the original tab the other tabs appear just about every time I hit "enter" or "next". Is there any way to prevent this?     In fact, it does sound like an infection... Often this is caused by a bad add-on.

    I have checked other forums, and the only answer I found was to make sure Firefox is up to date, and mine is. What else can I do to fix this?

    Under the Application Basics section, click on Show Folder. A window with your profile files will open.
    Note: If you are unable to open or use Firefox, follow the instructions in Finding your profile without opening Firefox.
    Click the menu button New Fx Menu and then click Exit Close 29
    Locate and delete the file prefs.js (or rename it, for example, to prefs.jsOLD, to keep the old file as a backup). If you find more than one, a prefs.js.moztmp file or a user.js file, delete (or rename) these as well.
    You can close the profile folder and open Firefox now.

    1) You have to create one work set with entry point set to true in a portal
    2) Add page created in VC to work set.
    3) Create one role. add work set to that role.
    4) Go to user management> Identity management>select for user-->assign newly created            role to that user.
    Save the changes and refresh the browser. new tab will appear.

  • Attachment restrictions in SRM Portal

    Hi,
    We have a very specific problem regarding the handling of attachments in the SRM portal. The feature is activated and we are storing our documents on  a remote content server.
    However what we would like to do is restrict the access to attachments even though the user has access to the business object. For example one user would have access to say a purchase order and would see that there are 5 attachments attached. Another user with less authorization would have access to the same purchase order and would see only see only three attachments. (preferably this last user would only see the attachments that she or he has uploaded themselves and not that of others.
    Does anyone have any idea if and how this could be done on the SRM portal?

    Hi Experts,
    To clarify this issue, we're working with the SRM 7.0 Webdynpro applications that have a standard feature to attach documents. In our case it is configured that it should be stored in a Documentum system via the Archive Link interface.
    What we're looking for is further information on how we can restrict the access to these attachements, e.g. by using specific document types and restricting the access by using the proper authorization objects.
    Does anybody have experience with this?
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Iu2019m trying to create a supplier from the vendor list that appears in SRM portal in u201CStrategic Purchasingu201D u2013 u201CBusiness Partneru201D u2013 u201CCreate business partner: Supplieru201D u2013 u201CAdd external Supplier fromu201D.
    When I select the supplier from that list, the u201COrganizational Unit in EBP for the Vendoru201D should be automatically defined. Instead, it is defined as 00000000 and when we try to change it manually to the correct one, it returns the error u201Cthe organizational unit does not existu201D.
    Do you have any idea what is the problem? What am I doing wrong?

    Did you change the org unit value from the txn PPOMV_BBP. Just try to enter the numerical part displayed for the root vendor org unit ID.
    Not sure but you can also try maintaining table BBP_MARKETP_INFO and then check if it works.
