How so i add a submit button to send different forms to different emails?

Im looking to add a submit button to the forms i create. I would like different forms to be sent to different emails. How do i do that?

Hi Bobby ,
For adding a button follow these steps ,
Tools>Interactive Objects>Add Button>Select the area where you want the button and you will see a small dialog box along with that button option you would have created .Click on 'All Properties' option and in the next dialog box  customize the various button properties as per your convenience .The Action tab will help you select the preferred action you want for a particular button .
Please go ahead and give it a try and write us back with your feedback.

I can see how to link to an email which then opens up an email someone could attach the form to. But I do not see how to make a button that automatically sends the form to an email address. Can someone provide assistance? Thanks!

I have the same question. You'd thing this would be a no brainer requirement for a form.

  • How do I add a submit button to a pdf form?

    hello
I am trying to add a submit button to a pdf form... is this possible though forms central or Acrobat Pro?

If it is a PDF you created with FormsCentral, then yes, it should have a Submit button. See this for more info: http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat-com/formscentral/help/create-fillable-pdf-form.html  and http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat-com/formscentral/help/create-forms-locally-save-them.html
If it's a fillable form created with Acrobat Pro, and you want to collect data with FormsCentral, then you import that existing PDF file into FormsCentral and add a Submit button to the form: http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat-com/formscentral/help/navigate-formscentral.html#import_exi sting_fillable_pdf_forms
    I hope that helps,

  • How do I set the Submit button to send the information directly to a specific email address?

How do I set the Submit button to send the information directly to a specific outside email address? It isn't clear to me where or how it says that you can do this.

Is this for a web form or a PDF? If PDF, you would have to use Acrobat to edit the form and replace the submit button action with either a "Submit a form" action using a mailto type URL, or use the doc.submitForm statement to do the same.

  • Once you create a printable form in Acrobat Pro 9, how do you add a submit button?

I have created printable PDF forms, but don't know how to add a submit button so they can be filled out and emailed. Currently if the people filling them out only have Reader they can only be printed out. They cannot be saved, and they cannot be emailed. Can the submit functionality be added in Adobe Acrobat Pro, or do you have to do that with a third party software?

Yes, you can use the Extend Features in Adobe Reader, shown here but grayed out since I don't have a form open.
When you do that, the people filling out the form will be able to Save a copy of the form for themselves and to forward a copy of the PDF to you. You might want to make a copy of the form first if you might have to make changes in the future since the Extended form cannot be edited directly.

  • How do i add a submit button to a form

ho do i add a submit button to a form.

    Hi;
If you are using the FormsCenral website to create a form it will have a submit button by default for the HTML (web) form and also by default it you are saving as PDF (there is an option to create a PDF without Submit, but by default it does submit to FormsCentral).
If you are using the FormsCentral desktop application that is bundled with Acrobat XI you would have to sign into the service to create forms with Submit buttons.  You can also create a form without submit button in FormsCentral Desktop and then edit the form in Acrobat XI adding a submit button using your preferred submit method such as by email.
Let me know if you need more information on either of these, it will be easier to assist knowing more about what you are using.
    Thanks,
    Josh
PS - if this is a question about adding a submit button in Acrobat not related to FormsCentral your question would be best asked in http://forums.adobe.com/community/acrobat

  • How do I add a functional "submit button" to a pdf form in Adobe Acrobat Pro XI ? I created the pdf form in Adobe Forms Central.

How do I add a functional "submit button" to a pdf form in Adobe Acrobat Pro XI ? I created the pdf form in Adobe Forms Central. It's for an online Diet Questionnaire. After people complete the form I'd like them to click "SUBMIT" and the completed form will be emailed to me.

This can be a bit confusing because Acrobat 11 comes with the desktop app that allows you to create simple PDF forms without having a FormsCentral account. Some people find this helpful, but you need to understand that when you generate the PDF form, it is Reader-enabled by Acrobat. In order to edit the form further in Acrobat, you have to create a non-enabled copy of the form. You do this in Acrobat by opening the form and selecting: File > Save a Copy
and opening the copy. It is not opened automatically.
You can now add a button and set it up to submit by email, either using a "Submit a form" action or the submitForm JavaScript method. You can set it up to include just the form data or the entire PDF, and will want to use a mailto type URL. Submitting the form to the FormsCentral server has a number of important advantages over email (much more reliable, more secure, etc.), so you might want to consider it.
If the form needs to be saved with Reader versions prior to 11, then you will need to Reader-enable the document. In Acrobat 11 you do this by selecting: File > Save As Other > Reader Extended PDF > Enable More Tools

  • How do I put a submit button?

I am using Forms Central. I have created the text fields, but I can't find where to add the submit button!

You cannot create forms in iWeb.
Create a form and paste the code in a HTML snippet.
Or create a separate page with the form and display the page in a HTML snippet with an iframe.
There are lots of tutorials out there that teach you how to create forms and put the data in a database.
    Usually with PHP and MySQL.
iWeb has no knowledge of that.

how can i put a submit button in a survey and it send to my email?

    Hi williamm89908146,
You need to open the form in which you want to put the submit button,
then you have to choose 'Add new field' under Tasks pane on the right Hand side of the window.
    Choose 'Ok' Button
Place the button at desired Location
Change the field name to 'Submit'
Click on 'All Properties' (Button Properties window Will open up)
Click on Actions Tab and then on 'Select Action:'
Choose 'Open a web Link' from the Drop Down Menu and then Click 'Add'
another window will appear in which you have to type this:    mailto:[your email address], eg: mailto:[email protected] later click close
Click Close Form editing on the right hand side of the window
Clicking on the Button would open up your default email client and your address would appear in 'To' field.
Please feel free if you face any challenges in following through these steps.
    Regards,
    Rahul

How can you get your submit buttons on the quiz template to be a single click instead of the default double click?  (The option to choose double click or not is not showing in properties for this).

Hmmm... Submit button doesn't need a double click at all. Maybe you are talking about the two-step process? When you click on Submit, the feedback appears with the message to click anywhere or press Y. Is that what you are talking about? If you are talking about a real double-click, something must be wrong in your file. And which version are you using?

  • How do I add a FullScreen button to Project Playback Skin?

How do I add a fullscreen button to the project playback skin? I know how to load another skin (using Project -> Skin Editor) and how to add a custom playback skin (paste custom skin SWF into C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 5\en_US\Gallery\Playbars) but I'm having a little trouble figuring out how to add a fullscreen button when editing the Flash AS3 so that it will show up in my custom playback skin when loaded into Captivate via Project->Skin Editor. Any ideas?

    Hi there
I might assume that seeing as you were able to work the magick with the CC button it would be a simple task to pick apart the other elements and add the desired button without hijacking the CC button.
I mean, if you are that deep in Flash territory and all, it doesn't seem like much of a stretch to figure out how the buttons are added, no?

  • How can i disable a submit button and execute submit_action method on click

    Good Day,
On my page I have a submit button that execute the submit_action method of the page backing bean that submit data captured on the page into a database and activate another class that send mail at the same time on a click of the submit button, the mail process takes a while before returning back to the page.I was able to disable the submit button to prevent the user from keep click while the process is running but the issue is on clicking the submit button it only disable the submit button without executing the submit_action method of the page backing bean. How can i disable the submit button and execute submit_method of the backing bean at the same time.
    Thanks in advance.

I tried this out on one of my pages to see if it works.
First, I added the following JavaScript to my submit button's onClick event:
this.disabled=true; return true; When I clicked the submit button, it was disabled but the form was not submitted.
I deleted the JavaScript from the onClick event and added the following JavaScript to the form's onSubmit event:
var button = document.getElementById("form1:submitButton"); button.disabled=true; return true; When I click the submit button, it was disabled and the form was submitted but the button's action method was not called.
The next thing I tried was to change the onSubmit event code:
var button = document.getElementById("form1:submitButton"); setTimeout("button.disabled=true", 500); return true; This seemed to work. The difference was that I added a 1/2 second delay before disabling the button.
See if that works for you. If not then I'm fresh out of ideas.

You need to use the right arrow on the remote to go all the way to the right. The submit button will be highlighted and you can then press select on the remote to proceed.
