Is there any way, that I can skip reading the file content inside file adapter with operation as Synchronous Read ( I just want to read the file name and directory and if the file name matches with the input variables then I have to delete the files, for this i am using FA with synch read operation, everything is fine like deletion, but it is reading the file content and storing it in DB, i dont want this) .

So, you want to (1) Fetch the data from these 3 type of files and (2) Also, store the payload data of the file, which is in XML format, into the same database tables ?
If this is the requirement.. then, I would say, you could :
(1) Read files using file adapter, but not as opaque.. Define schemas conforming to the file structures. In that way, you'll always have the file data read in the form of XML.
(2) Fetch relevant data from such XML payloads of files and insert into database tables. Then, insert the XML payload into WHO column. You might have to convert the xml data into blob/clob before inserting.

ESB - How to add filter to avoid file adapter to start executing?

I have an esb project with first a file adapter that reads incoming XML files. Mapped with a database adapter that calls a stored procedure that inserts data in certain tables. The output parameter of this stored procedure is of type pl/sql table and contains data of an error if an error has occurred while processing the procedure. A new file adapter will create a new file with the content of the output parameter. But if the outputparameter is empty it will give an error.
Is there a possibility to add a filter to avoid that the file adapter starts trying to create the error file?

Hi Els,
A possibility is to add a routing service in between the database invocation and file adapter with a single routing rule. Add a filter to the routing service to test whether the input is empty.

How to add the Note board web part to a page with powershell

Hi everyone,
I've been looking around everywhere but haven't seen it explicitly mentioned.
Does anyone know how to add the Note Board web part to a Team Site page, e.g. Non-publishing site, Left Zone, First webpart in the zone in powershell?
Examples like this one http://adicodes.com/adding-web-part-to-page-with-powershell/ only talk about custom web parts uploaded from a local drive.
The example here looks good - http://spcrew.com/blogs/lists/posts/post.aspx?id=21 but is it for the Page Viewer Web Part. How would you go about getting the correct name for the note board web part and configuring it?

Have you already tried to see if the sample code you downloaded works or not? Maybe if you try out the code yourself you can see if it extracts files from a directory within a zip file?
I like to use pkzip. It is a command line compression/uncompression tool that can be used from a batch file. If you assignment involves unzipping large amount of zip files on a regular basis, I recommend taking a look at pkzip.

I could not find some infomration to add control into ASM . I can do this job( see below procedure) in no ASM .
My question, our database locates at ASM and control file with a system auto-number ( fully qualified filename ) as
+DATA1/SALE/controlfile/current.256.690290159
How do I physical copy and rename other 2 contril file in directory and modify location in pfile?
I saw some paper to use request as an alias (such as +dgroup2/control/ctl.f). i can not image to copy/rename control.

For every row you need to create a new Vector and add the data to that Vector. Then the Vector is added to the TableModel.
If you add 6 items to the single Vector, then you will get 6 columns. So you need to create 6 Vectors and add a single item to each Vector and therefore you will end up with 6 rows with 1 column of data.

How do I restore 'Notes' data files from Time Machine?

My wife accidentally (more or less) deleted 7 of her Note notations because they were duplicated and she thought one should be eliminated. What happened is that when she deleted one, the system deleted both duplicates. After doing this for 7 times, she saw what was happening and stopped. We have both our iMacs backed up to a Time Machine and I have been searching these forums trying to find out the name of the data file for Notes so that I can restore it. The best I saw was Library/Containers/com.apple.notes but I could not find this file anywhere in Finder or even on the Macintosh HD. We did find out that if you delete something from Notes on your iMac, it also gets deleted in iCloud (I thought there was a backup in iCloud) iPhone, and iPad. One of these notes is irreplacable as it is a daily diary of an event in my wife's life. Can anyone please tell me where I can find the Notes data files so I can locate them on Time Machine and restore them? (Note: If I restore them from TM and they are not in iCloud will they be immediately deleted? Sorry that may be a dumb question but I've done a bit of technical work with PCs and MobileMe and iCloud seem useless. I'd just as soon plug my iPhone and iPad into my iMac to synch, you know. Here is what I have tried:
1. Finder>Go>(Option)Library>Address Book(highlighted)with files showing in right column. Opened Time Machine and Address Book folder is there. Tried to go back to several previous dates from several months ago. None will highlight in order for the Restore button to light up.
2. Finder>Mac HD (under Devices)>(Option)Library>Address Book (same as above). Again, cannot go anywhere back in time to highlight a date for Restore button to light up.
Note: I was able to use Time Machine to restore my Contacts with no problem. However, they are All Contacts only and did not restore my Groups. I do know how to make groups again and highlight and drag them back, but wanted to see if there was a way to restore the groups. I will post another question as to why my Time Machine won't let me restore the Address Book as well as the Contacts. Thank you for your time and patience.

Looks like you're creating a new file (which overwrites the old one) every time. You need to open the file first and then append to it.

Well there are a couple of places: you could use the Title or the Description field in the Info Pane. Or are you trying to write on the photo?
