How to add iView to Page

Hi experts,
currently I have created an iView in the CE 7.1, SP3  environment with Enterprise Portal lite. How to add iView to the Page and subsequently add the Page to the workset?
As now, there isn't a "add" when I right click on iView.

    Hi,
    In your report footer, set it to create a new page before it is printed (In 'Section Expert', select the Report Footer -> 'Paging' tab -> Check 'New Page Before' checkbox). Throw your Terms & Conditions into the Report Footer section.
    If you already have a Report Footer that you want to keep, just split the footer into two sections (Right-click the Report Footer section -> 'Insert Section Below') and follow the same procedure for the newly created section.

    Thanks. I've tried this and apparently the template I'm using is one of those where it doesn't work. I've tried dragging it as well as cutting a pasting but it always travels back to the end of the book. Maybe I can try changing the template temporarily, move the preface page, and then convert back to the original template. I'll experiment a little.

    I created a project via the Magic iDVD option and it worked great and added multiple chapter pages for more then 6 chapters. Now, I manually added a submeno off of main and added 6 chapters but I need multiple pages since I have 40 chapters... I can't figure out how to add another chapter page and create a RIGHT ARROW navigation button for the next pages...
    I also looked at the map view and see that on the working pages there is page connected to page... I also cannot find a way to add a page connected vi map view...
    I have searched the forum but none of the answers were clear on how to do this... any help would be appreciated...

    Adding the submenu is easy...making the button for it a "right arrow" is not.
    You can keep adding submenus to other submemus by navigating to the appropriate menu and then choose the "add submenu" command from the iDVD project menu. This can be done in either normal or map view.
    However, this creates a "folder" button, (or other things in some themes) not a right arrow. I agree it should be a choice! My 2nd best solution is to chage the folder button to a "text only button" and label it "More Chapters > >"
    Another solution (3rd best??) is to use command-shift-4 when you are one one of your other menus that DOES have a right arrow, and take a mini picture of the arrow. Then choose one of the oval menu buttons on the button pane, and drag this tiny picture onto the button. Re-size it to make it close to the same size as your other buttons. It will have a funny edge on it from the button style, but it will look like a right arrow.

    i created the new equipement category K by coping the standard S.when i am creating the equipment while using equipment category S i am getting tab pages General,Location,organization,structure,Sales and Distribution.
    But while using the equipment category K for creating the new equipment i am getting the tab pages General,Location,organization,structure 4 only.
    why the 5 one Sales and Distribution is not coming ?
    how to add new tab page like Partners ?In that fields like sold to party,ship to party ?

    In Equipment category creation config in IMG, check for the View Profile for both the equipment category S & K.
    For adding new tab, follow the IMG path.
    PM & CS => Master data => Technical Objects => General Data => Set view profiles for Technical objects
    Select the View profile which has been assigned to your equipment category & click Activity & layouts of views. In that screen, under seq.no, select the Partners.
    Do the same for other requried tabs based on your requirement.
    If there are same profile assigned to both equipment category, go to equipment creation creation => Edit => view selection. There you will find the required tabs.

    Hover the cursor over the page display until the page footer appears. Select the page number.

  • How to add a custom page in WF process?

    I have to add a custom page in a workflow process. The process is a copy of a seeded WF process.
    There are 3-4 seeded pages in the process. Now I want to insert my page in between them.
    Like you ppl know, this is how the seeded process works:
    A function node is present and we can see "HR Activity Type" value in Node Attributes tab. This value will be present in regionMap.xml in PER_TOP/mds. This is how the page's path and node is mapped.
    Similarly if I create a new node, how can I map my custom page. It wont be present in regionMap.xml

    I know its been a while since you had posted this, but I have a few questions. I am working on something very similar. I have created a custom OAF page that I would like to launch from HR Line Manager Self Service. When I followed your suggestion of "HR Activity Type" = Page, and "HR Activity Type value" = name the AOL registered function, it brings up a blank page for me. Any idea why that might be?
    When the manager clicks the "Action" icon next to the selected employee, it starts the WF and my node is the first one in the WF process. But instead of showing my custom OAF page, it shows a blank page that reads "Create Process". Does it make any difference whether the node is inserted between existing nodes or if its the first one? Did you have to write anything in the processRequest of your CO ? I have not yet added the suggested wfaactivity call in my PFR, but since my page is not displaying in the first page, I figure the PFR logic doesn't matter at this point.
    Can you share the exact values for your node attributes if you don't mind, and if there's anything specific to WF you had added in your PR of the CO?

    Here is another answer to "how to a add a blank page" to a doc in acrobat.
    Since it has already been "answered" (how absurd is that) I am posting it here, in hope that someone can find it because THIS solution is no where else on the web as far as i can tell.
    Option click & drag a page to duplicate it then delete the page contents with the “touch up object” tool. then duplicate the page to your hearts content. note you will need to remove password if any first.

    I've been usin acrobat since Version 4. Currently have last updated version 9.
    Just recently made some pdfs. The last time I did a multipage PDF has been a while (but still after version 9).
    But in order to see a full 8.5x11 page I had to do the dot trick I spoke of, there has to be some type of content even if same color as background, more than halfway down the page in order for it to show as a full page, you do nothing if it even creates one, shows as a half page or less.
    And if you want it to look professional, you type either in middle or just bellow middle, the words:
    THIS PAGE INTENTIONALLY LEFT BLANK
    set color to a pale gray (as shown above). I've seen PDF Manual for software using this.

    I have a Pages document created with a Word Processing template and with Facing Pages, page 1 beginning with the right page. All of the following Section breaks will begin with the right page as in a book. The space shown to the left of page 1 currently is a blank, grey area. I would like to use this space as a cover page.
    If I insert either a page break or section break at the top of page 1, it pushes page 1 down and to the left. That is not what I want. I would simply like to add the "cover" page to the left of page 1 (and continue to begin later sections/chapters at the right.
    Is that possible, and if so, how do I do it?

    Hello again Peter, thanks for the advice.
    What I actually did was insert the cursor at the beginning of page 1, and in the Menu, I did an Insert > Choose... and selected a one-page cover document. With a bit of trial and error, I was able to get the artwork to completely cover the page. However, the cover is now labeled as page 1 and I would prefer it and the following blank page to not be page numbered. I consider this as a temporary work-around so I could export to a pdf file.
    Now, what I would like to do further is add a new chapter to the end of the file. In the Insert > Sections menu, I have previously created a “Chapter” Section but after adding it to the end of my document and changing the Header to read Chapter 2, it also changed all of the previous headers on the right facing pages. Not good :-(

    page is added to the library (as well as every other desktop).
    Is this the right way to do things? Or do I have to add the page using
    the admin tool? If I do, I don't have access to all the properties.

    Once you create desktop from a template (.portal) file built in workshop, all the elements of the portal template file get stored in database as library resources. Later when you add new pages to the .portal file, you wont see those changes in the streaming mode desktop. As far as I know, BEA is trying to fix this issue in future releases. But in the meanwhile, you have to create a new .portal file in workshop and create desktop out of it from admin portal to see the new changes.
