2.choose the Java instance according to the level you want to make configurations.
3.Choose the Servers tab.

Hi
I need a pane where nodes are not automatically aligned.
I think a Region would be right for that, but I could not find out how to add nodes to it?
How could I extend a Region for adding nodes?
Any help is appreciated.

How to add a minimize to system tray icon button?
how can i add a minimize to system tray icon button near the others common buttons usually found on the upper right window bar? (i mean near the _ [] X)
_ for minimize to taskbar
[] for maximizing
X for closing
i'd like to add a fourth button to the left of the _ button for minimizing to system tray
like in many programs the fourth button is a dot shaped one that minimizes the program to system tray
i'd like to add one to my program as well, but i didnt find anything about this kind of buttons neither on google nor on java books
can anyone help me?
thank you!You can't (easily). The window decorations are controled by the operating system. Your best bet is to change the functionality of the minimize-to-taskbar button and make it into a minimize-to-tray button. In fact, all the programs that minimize to the tray on my computer - about 6 of them - do it this way.
like in many programs the fourth button is a dot shaped one that minimizes the program to system trayI've never seen this? -
How to add nodes to JTree???

I know how to add the customized code to the JTree, but while adding following code to the JMenuItem's Click, does'nt work
Code :
private void jMenu1ActionPerformed(java.awt.event.ActionEvent evt)
DefaultMutableTreeNode dm =new DefaultMutableTreeNode("Root Element");
dm.add(new DefaultMutableTreeNode("Child Node"));
Treeview=new javax.swing.JTree(dm);
} Please help me out where i should write the code so that it will add the nodes to the JTree on JMenuItem's Click.

How to add program to windows system tray?
I heard from someone that in order to add a program to the system tray, I must use JNI. I want to ask whether there is any other alternative. If not, how do I go about doing it using JNI.
Thanx in advance.You can use the JTray API (Java System Tray API For
Windows) that can be found at http://www.JavaAPIs.com.
It supports several image types, animation, and
display of AWT and Swing Components as pop-ups. I always find it rather annoying when people scour past posts to promote a product that they have a vested interest in.
Especially when they don't point out that that they have such an interest.
Especially when they don't point out that the interest is monetary.
Especially when they do nothing but post ads - never actually answering a single question.
Just me I suppose. -

How to add node value using org.w3c.dom.Document?
Hi ,
I'm using org.w3c.dom.Document to deal with xml files. I could successfully add nodes , and their attributes. However I could not add a value of the node. (e.g. <myNode>I couldn't add this value</myNode>)
does anyone know how to deal with this?
I tried subNode.setNodeValue("the value i can't add"); whereas the subNode is an instance of org.w3c.dom.Node... i know this is interface i of course used the concrete class
org.apache.crimson.tree.ElementNode
but when I used the subNode.getNodeValue() i simply got null?
can u plz help me?
thanks in advanceReading the API documentation for the Node interface might help. At least you wouldn't be surprised when the results are exactly what the documentation says they will be.
What would really help would be forgetting the idea that an Element can have a value. Text nodes have values, though, so create a Text node and make it the child of the Element node. -
How to add EP 7.0 system in SOLMAN with smsy

BalajiHello Balaji
1 i think i have to configure this in http://<solmanhost>/sld by giving the path of EP system and EP systems user J2ee_admin
please correct me.
--> You have to create the data supplier bridge in your http://<ep7host>:5<instance no>00/sld under administration --> data supplier and give the path of the Sol man system with user SLDDSUSER (normally or a user with sufficient authorization). J2EE_ADMIN probably has enough rights but I wouldn't recommend placing J2EE_ADMIN in such connection as the user-id can get locked if the password is incorrect or at same point of time the password is changed and you forget to also update the data supplier user/pass.
A data supplier bridge will send updated data to the target defined in the data supplier. So after you trigger the update of your local EP7 SLD, the data supplier comes into action and you should also see the timestamp is updated in your Sol Man SLD (under technical systems search the SID of your EP7 SAP system).
2 can it be done in Portal's VisualAdmin? please correct me.
do i need to delete the existing portal system ( which configured manually) from solman smsy?
Two times yes I would recommend you cleanup your manual entries (deleting them)
Kind regards

How to add Business Objects to system landscape smsy?
Hi there,
at the moment I configure the system landscape (smsy) in our solution manager. We have also BO XI 3.1 installations and I like to add them to the landscape. In transaction smsy I'm going to "Landscape components" -> "Product System" -> "Create New Product System" .. But now I'm not sure about the product and the product version.
Any idea?
Thanks and have a nice weekend,
MaxHello,
You may want to review SAP Note 1507629 Preparing a BOE system for Service Sessions in Sol. Manager
There are two PDF files EGI_SBOP_EWA_Part1.pdf and EGI_SBOP_EWA_Part2.pdf attached.
They show how to define the system in SMSY.
Additionally you will need Note 1357901 CA: Managed System Setup for SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise
Because this is how the data will be collected.
And lastly once you have setup the managed system and setup the entries in SMSY, you then can create an EWA.
Hope this helps you out.

What I need to do is find the sample by its ID attribute...IN THEN add the following
<MC_Data>
<Wet>blah</Wet
<Dry>blah</Dry>
</MC_Data>
Here is the code I have now, which doesn't work...
Public Sub XML_Add_Child_Node_Group(Sample_ID As String, Which_Category As Integer)
If File.Exists(Program_Settings_File.PG_Filepath) = False Then MsgBox("The program settings file for the program has been moved or deleted! Cancelled.") : Exit Sub
Dim XMLFile As New Xml.XmlDocument, NewNode As Xml.XmlElement = Nothing, NewChild As Xml.XmlElement = Nothing
XMLFile.Load(Current_File.Current_File_Path)
Dim Root_Node As XmlNode = XMLFile.SelectSingleNode("/Project_Data/Samples/[@ID='" & Sample_ID & "']")
Dim Root_Element As Xml.XmlElement = CType(XMLFile.SelectSingleNode("/Project_Data/Samples/[@ID='" & Sample_ID & "']"), XmlElement)
'1 = Add MC nodes
Select Which_Category
Case 1
'----Add new node.
NewNode = XMLFile.CreateElement("MC_Data")
'----Add children nodes.
NewChild = XMLFile.CreateElement("MC_Wet") : NewNode.AppendChild(NewChild)
'MsgBox(NewNode.Name)
NewChild = XMLFile.CreateElement("MC_Dry") : NewNode.AppendChild(NewChild)
NewChild = XMLFile.CreateElement("MC_Tare") : NewNode.AppendChild(NewChild)
NewChild = XMLFile.CreateElement("MC_Tare_No") : NewNode.AppendChild(NewChild)
NewChild = XMLFile.CreateElement("MC_Remarks") : NewNode.AppendChild(NewChild)
NewChild = XMLFile.CreateElement("MC_MC") : NewNode.AppendChild(NewChild)
Root_Element.AppendChild(NewNode)
End Select
'----Add entire tree.
XMLFile.Save(Current_File.Current_File_Path)
End Sub
No matter what, it will not add these nodes. Can anyone help me out? Thanks ahead of time...
